Our beloved nation is also grappling with the scourge of security challenges, including kidnapping, unknown gunmen attacks, banditry, and various other security concerns.”

“In these trying times, it is incumbent upon us, as Nigerians, to remain patient and resilient as we navigate through these turbulent waters.”

He added, “Commitment to justice and equality must remain unwavering, and it is through collective efforts that we can bring about meaningful change.”

“Let us remember the sacrifices of our forefathers who fought tirelessly for our independence. Their unwavering commitment and determination laid the foundation for a free Nigeria. We must channel their energy and embrace their vision as we strive towards a better tomorrow.

The security expert urges the government to prioritize the needs and aspirations of Nigerians. Investing in key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and job creation will undoubtedly propel our nation forward.

“Additionally, policies aimed at combating corruption, promoting transparency, and empowering our citizens are imperative for building a strong and prosperous Nigeria.

It is through their vision and dedication that we can address the multifaceted issues plaguing our country and foster an environment conducive for growth.

“Let us not lose sight of our collective responsibility in shaping the trajectory of our dear nation. Together, with unwavering determination and unity, we can overcome adversity and embark on a journey towards sustainable development and a brighter future.

I congratulate Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the month of Ramadan and tasked them to sustain the virtues of Ramadan by maintaining the love, togetherness and peaceful co-existence that characterized it.

The discipline and self-restraint exemplified during the holy month are the only way to live a good life and make the society a better place to live.

I urged Muslims to see the eid-el-fitri celebration as a season for sober reflection and also rededicate their lives to the teachings of the Holy Qur'an as demonstrated by Prophet Mohammed.

Being a good Muslim requires that we follow the examples of Prophet Muhammad who was always quick to forgive those that transgressed against him and lived a life of building common understanding among the people.

May Almighty Allah accept all our acts of worship and prayers during the holy month of Ramadan.

Eid Mubarak to all Muslim Ummah.

RE: MY OFFER TO SERVE: TIME TO MOVE ON

24th March 2023.

Let me start by appreciating our party faithful, teaming supporters, and the good people of Ilorin-West/Asa Federal Constituency who came out en mass and voted for us on the 25th of February 2023, to represent them at the House of Representatives. I will remain eternally grateful for your love, support and solidarity.

It is unfortunate that the result declared by the INEC was neither the will nor the expectations of our people. And in response to the wishes and desires of our people to reclaim the mandate they freely given to us, we immediately rejected the result and assembled a team of lawyers to review the results and commence necessary legal actions. After we briefed our lawyers, they filed an ex-parte motion for an order to compel INEC to allow us access to the electoral materials including the BVAS report.
Unfortunately, the panel members were nowhere to be found. It took eight days after we filed our case for the panel to arrive to grant us the ex-parte order.

Despite the delay in granting our order, INEC refused to obey the order, up till this moment. That has limited the capacity of our legal team to present a robust case towards reclaiming our mandate.

From the foregoing, we can see clear signs of collusion between INEC, APC and perhaps other authorities we may not know. But to keep the hope of our supporters alive, we filed our case inspite of many difficulties and challenges our legal team encountered in the process.

We have had representations and expressions of deep concern by a lot of people about the apparent connivance between the APC and INEC and how that will impact the legal process. My immediate family has also expressed worries about the diminishing possibility of an impartial legal process and urged me to let it go.

More importantly, as a strong believer and a true Muslim, I believe that it is the Almighty Allah that gives Power and to whom he wishes at the appointed time.

As a progressive politician, my utmost desire is for our people to be served and represented effectively. I therefore wouldn't want to create excuses for the purportedly declared winner by INEC that he was distracted by the legal contest when he fails.

Also, considering that this is the Holy month of Ramadan, I have deeply reflected on one of the lessons of Ramadan which is the spirit of forgiveness and wish to discontinue the legal process we have instituted at the tribunal, against our opponent, APC and INEC.

I want to state, very categorically, that we are doing this not because we are expecting any consideration or gain from our opponent or his party but for the sake of God Almighty, the progress of our Constituency and our State. However, we will not be deterred by this temporary setback in pursuing our set goals of making life more meaningful for our people. This we will continue to do through our Foundation and other engagements with various organisations and institutions we have contacts with. We will hold the government at all levels accountable to ensure that our people are not shortchanged in any way.

Once again, I thank most sincerely, the good people of Ilorin-West/Asa Federal constituency for the support we enjoyed throughout the campaigns. I will never let you down, I promise.

I thank the leader of our great party in Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki for all his mentorship and support throughout our campaign.

Thank you and may God Almighty bless us all.

Signed
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia.

As we stepped into the holy month of , it is indeed a great opportunity for Muslims to seek Allah's favour, forgiveness and assess their deeds with a view to improving themselves spiritually and move closer to their Creator.

It is expected of every Muslim, regardless of class, to freely share love while the rich and influential must also express kindness to the underprivileged in the society during the holy month of Ramadan.

As a Muslim, I encouraged us to offer ceaseless prayers in the holy month for the nation's leadership to lead aright and make policies that will have positive impact on the lives of the masses.

May Allah SWT accept it as an act of Ibadah.

Ramadan Kareem.

: The PDP House of Representatives candidate for Asa and Ilorin West Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia joined other electorates to exercise his civic rights in his polling unit, 005 Ode Omo-Iya Ayinla, Magaji Ngeri in Ilorin West Local Government of Kwara State.

It is a shame that electorates had to wait from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm before they could exercise their civic responsibilities due to the failure of the BVAS machine to accredit registered voters.

We are not surprised by the low turnout of voters, this is an indication that our people are not happy with the outcome of the last Presidential and National Assembly election result which was marred with various irregularities.

No doubt, our people have lost faith in INEC's ability to conduct a free, fair and credible election.

Ajia Rejects Outcomes of Asa/Ilorin-West Federal Constituency, Says, It Was Marred With Irregularities

The Peoples Democratic Party's candidate for Asa/Ilorin-west Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia has outrightly rejected the outcome of the votes as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) noting that, the election was marred with irregularities. He has also decided to contest the election outcome in the court of competent jurisdictions, in order not to subvert the wishes of the people.

In a statement issued on Monday, signed by the Director of Communications of Ajia Campaign Organisation (ACO), Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan and made available to Journalists in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

According to the statement, "The House of Representatives candidate of PDP for Asa/Ilorin-west federal constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia want to make it categorically clear that the outcomes of election as declared by INEC was marred with irregularities, it fails the principles of free, fair and credible elections as stipulated by the Electoral Acts.

The campaign organisation further stated that, "Our popular candidate, is a victim of widespread electoral fraud and manipulation by INEC in connections with the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq administration in the state.

“The elections were characterized by widespread irregularities, intimidation and voter suppression in order to clear the path for the inglorious ‘victory’ of APC in the polls.

“It was crystal clear that the game plan was to overturn the popular wishes of the people of Asa/Ilorin-west federal constituency, whose their candidate has come out to challenge the maladministration going on in the state.

“While we thank and appreciate the support of our teaming supporters, we equally want to appeal to them to remain peaceful and calm, we will not relent in pursuing our stolen electoral mandate to the limit of the law through all the constitutional means. It concludes
