DAY I @ YERWA GOVERNMENT GIRLS COLLEGE,
MULTI-AID AND CHARITY INITIATIVE SENSITIZATION VISIT TO YERWA GOVERNMENT GIRLS COLLEGE, MAIDUGURI IN COLLABORATION WITH (UNPFA) ON MONDAY 29 OF NOVERMBER 2021 TO CELEBRATE 16 DAYS ACTIVISIM AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE.
Borno state First lady, Dr Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum has flagged off 2021 sixteen days of activism. she flagged off the campaign on eradication of all forms of violence against women and girls. on Saturday 27 of November, 2021 at the government house Maiduguri Borno state.
Dr Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum has joined millions of women around the world in commemorating the sixteen days of activism in which women and girls come together analyze, interact, discuss and proffer solutions on gender based violence against women and girls .
Dr Falmata Zulum has also lined up activities for the sixteen days which includes empowering two hundred and twenty five widows of slain farmers of Zabarmari and sensitization visit to numerous girls schools and boys school carried out by her pet project Multi Aid And Charity initiative
Dr Falmata personally partake in sensitizing the student of Yerwa government girls secondary schools where lectures, cultural dances and drama presentation took place she also inspected items made by the students of entrepreneur club and purchased items to the tune of two hundred thousand naira to encourage the club members and the school management and the items she purchased include pomade, shampoo, slippers, throw pillows, liquid soap among others . She also urge schools management to form GBV clubs so as to equip the students on how to handle all forms of violence in any relationship now and in the future.
Donor Agencies, International Partners, Ministry Of Women Affairs And Social Development and the management of Multi Aid and Charity Initiative contributed and participated at the ongoing event.
Borno state First Lady Dr.Falmata Babagana Umara Zulum to empower 225 widows and sensitize school girls and boys as the world commemorating 2021 16 days of activism.
