This is Asaba Mall/Asaba Shoprite: a big spot for hookup girls.

If any girl tells you she visits or lives in Asaba, ask her what she does there. Chances are high that she's doing hookup. Ask Asaba residents. Of course there's no school in Asaba, so?

So, I visited Asaba to chill for the week and connected with my guy. While showing me around, we drove to Shoprite. Towards the parking lot, I sighted this fine girl that evening. She smiled at me unlike a typical naija girl that would start forming whatever. I braked and signaled her to come. My guy whispered 'na work o' but i didn't process that quickly before I activated my wooing lines. Not until i asked her what she came around to do, she said she's usually here and available. That's when I realized what my guy said.

Driving around the parking lot, there are over 50 of them lurking at different angles, waiting for men to come pick them. In a bid do a bit social experiment, I asked few where they're from. To my dismay, some of them are my Igbo and even Anambra sisters while others are from south-south and other states. Do they even consider the close proximity of Anambra and Asaba and chances of meeting people that knows them? They charge 25 - 35k per night.

Now, it's not only in Shoprite. In fact, Shoprite is for the better class. All corners of Asaba; from 'House on the Rock' church road to Hampton hotel and other nooks and crannies is filled with young girls of 16-30years, perched on the roads in brazen prost!tut!on. Yes, hookup is almost in every state but disguised and coded or in secluded areas. I've never witnessed any as brazen and littered with high population like this.

The last time I saw something similar was during my vacation in Port Harcourt. The girls in PH are mostly from Akwa Ibom, Imo and Benue.
