โœ๐Ÿ“— TEXT: Exodus 22:16-31(NKJV)

16. " If a man entices a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, he shall surely pay the bride-price for her [to be] his wife.
17. "If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the bride-price of virgins.
18. " You shall not permit a sorceress to live.
19. " Whoever lies with an animal shall surely be put to death.
20. " He who sacrifices to [any] god, except to the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.
21. " You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
22. " You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.
23. "If you afflict them in any way, [and] they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry;
24. "and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.
25. " If you lend money to [any of] My people [who are] poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest.
26. "If you ever take your neighbor's garment as a pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down.
27. "For that [is] his only covering, it [is] his garment for his skin. What will he sleep in? And it will be that when he cries to Me, I will hear, for I [am] gracious.
28. " You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.
29. " You shall not delay [to offer] the first of your ripe produce and your juices. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to Me.
30. "Likewise you shall do with your oxen [and] your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me.
31. " And you shall be holy men to Me: you shall not eat meat torn [by beasts] in the field; you shall throw it to the dogs.

โœ๐Ÿ“— STUDY: These series of miscellaneous laws in todayโ€™s text reveal God's concern for humanity and His desire that people be not exploited. These include virgins (vv. 16-17; see Deut. 22:23-24), foreigners in the land (v.21), widows (vv. 22-24), and the poor (vv. 25-27). God promises to hear the cries of those who are wronged and defend the poor and oppressed. We must take care of the oppressed and vulnerable in the society especially in the church.
This is what James calls true religion (James 1:27). On the other hand, witches and wizards were not permitted to live because they operated with the demonic powers that operated in the god-less religions of the nations around Israel. (See Lev. 19:31; 20:27 & Deut 18:9-12). Modern occult practices are an invitation for Satan to destroy lives. These are abhorred by God and have severe consequences. Furthermore, we are to respect rulers and refrain from cursing them, even as we would refrain from cursing God. According to Romans 13, rulers are ordained by God. If we curse a leader, we are in danger of cursing the God who established the authority of human government. Finally, we have to give our hearts to obeying the law of God.

โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป PRAYER: O Lord, grant me the zeal to obey your laws at all times in Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

*PUT YOUR TRUST IN GOD*

*Deuteronomy 2: 16-25*
*[16]โ€œSo it was, when all the men of war had finally perished from among the people,*
[17]that the Lord spoke to me, saying:
[18]โ€˜This day you are to cross over at Ar, the boundary of Moab.
[19]And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.โ€™ โ€
[20](That was also regarded as a land of giants; giants formerly dwelt there. But the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,
[21]a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim. But the Lord destroyed them before them, and they dispossessed them and dwelt in their place,
[22]just as He had done for the descendants of Esau, who dwelt in Seir, when He destroyed the Horites from before them. They dispossessed them and dwelt in their place, even to this day.
[23]And the Avim, who dwelt in villages as far as Gazaโ€”the Caphtorim, who came from Caphtor, destroyed them and dwelt in their place.)
[24]โ€œ โ€˜Rise, take your journey, and cross over the River Arnon. Look, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to possess it, and engage him in battle.
[25]This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the nations under the whole heaven, who shall hear the report of you, and shall tremble and be in anguish because of you.

*STUDY*
God wanted His people to know that He was able to help them in battles even without the men of war and this He did. It was after they had all died that God sent them to battle against the people dwelling in the land He had given to them.

God needs you to trust Him and Him alone. He needs you to trust Himin your business, finances, academics, etc. In most cases, the circumstances are not always palatable trusting God but knowing that He is able to do just what He says, we need to trust Him. Abraham trusted God against hope and received the promise of the Father. We must learn to trust God in all things and at all times. Nothing is too small to trust God with;we need not have confidence in possessions or connections. God can sometimes remove your โ€˜men of warโ€™ - those things you put your trust in instead of Him- so He can have your attention and trust and ascribe Him all the glory.

PRAYER: Help me, O Lord to put my trust in You and in You alone. Amen

*๐Ÿ”ฅANALYSIS OF THE TELECOMS INDUSTRY*
๐ŸŽฏWe are about *200 million* people in Nigeria
๐ŸŽฏBut *NCC* says there are *250 Million Active Sim Cards* In this country. I believe we all know why?
Nigerians have *more* *than one SIM CARD*
๐ŸŽฏDo you know that about *3 million* Nigerians recharge their phones every one hour.
๐ŸŽฏDo you know that we spend *14 Billion* Naira every day just recharging our phones
๐ŸŽฏDo you also know that you and I, spend *446 Billion* Naira recharging our phones in a month
-๐ŸŽฏCan you imagine that, the inflow investment in our Telecoms industry in a year is *21.4 Trillion* Naira.
๐Ÿ”ฅAnd we say there is no money in this country.
๐Ÿ”ฅNCC says Nigerians spend more money on *TELECOMS* then on *HEALTH* and *Food*

๐Ÿ”ฅ-The Big Question we should be asking ourselves is
*How much of this money comes back to you?*

Nigerians can't do without airtime and data no matter how hard we try.

They are essential to the extent we must borrow them even if we don't have money to pay immediately.

So knowing this, we should find a way to make money using these products since they have proven MUST NEED to the society at large.

That's why RECHARGE AND GET PAID offers Nigerians the platform to leverage on these products.

Not just to make money when we buy and sell the products; but also when other Nigerians buy the products.

I will be glad to educate u more on how Recharge And Get Paid works.
