I Have Never Campaigned For Any Politician – Oyedepo

He said that politicians from different political parties in the country came to him for prayers and advice before the general elections.

The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, on Sunday said he has never campaigned for any politician or spoken to any group on their behalf.

Oyedepo said this during a service at the church headquarters in the Ota area of Ogun State amid an unverified and unconfirmed viral audio of an alleged phone conversation between him and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

Although he did not make any reference to any audio conversation, the cleric insisted that at no time has he ever spoken to any group on behalf of any politician.

He said that politicians from different political parties in the country came to him for prayers and advice before the general elections.

He said, “I have never campaigned for anybody or spoken on anybody’s behalf and I will not do that till I go to heaven.

“There is no party in this country that didn’t come to me for prayers and advice.

“I advised them, some, they don’t take. Those who chose to take they see results; those who said no are still going about it.

“If you still come again, I will still tell you, nothing will change.”

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu has ordered the immediate release of End SARS protesters.

Recall the protesters alongside Instagram comedian, Mr Macaroni were arrested at the Lekki toll gate on Saturday morning.

The suspects were detained at Area J police command, Elemoro, Ibeju Lekki.

According to TVC, CP Odumosu ordered that about 35 persons arrested in connection to be released immediately.

The police in Lagos have charged 40 protesters arrested at the Lekki tollgate on Saturday to court, for breaching public peace.

The arrested protesters include, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, Dabiraoluwa Adeyinka, Damilare Adenola, Anjorin Joseph, Paul Terkuma and Anisere Sodiq.

The protesters were charged at the Magistrate Court of Lagos State, Yaba.

In the charge sheet obtained by PREMIUM TIMES, they were charged on three counts including failing to comply with the “Quarantine Law which prohibit any social gathering to avoid spreading and contacting of Coronavirus Disease”.

The other charges are “breach of public peace, harassment, and causing unnecessary alarm to the public”.

Three Men Has Been Caught While Allegedly Trying To Sacrifice A Young Girl For Money Ritual In Edo (Photos)

Luck disappeared after three suspected ritualists were apprehended in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State. They were apprehended while trying to make use of a girl for money ritual. Report claims.

The latest report was dished out to members of the public by an Aspirant contesting for the position of Chairman in Igueben Local Government area of Edo state. The Chairmanship aspirant named Mr. Eromose Eboghoye, said that the apprehended strangers were three Young men. He said they were putting on white clothes when they were allegedly caught trying to carry out the sacrifice.

Torixus learnt that residents of Igueben apprehended the three men during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, 2 February, 2020.

We are yet to receive report from the state police command concerning this incident. The commissioner of Police in Edo state hasn' t address the public on how the police are handling the investigative processes in finding out the masked truth behind this very report.

A team of four specialised Army Robbers were caught today along Benin-Auchi Expressway. The gang members of two female and two male, they usually operates in a taxi in Edo state.

Today, luck ran against them as they caught in an usual manner along Benin-Auchi Expressway. They were almost lynched thanks to timely intervention of the Police.

During interrogation after they were caught, the leader of the gang which is a woman told why she engages in armed robbery. The woman narrates thus:

” i lost my husband early in my marriage. Before he passed on, we had three kids. After he died, i don’t know what to do and how to feed them. I enter into many businesses, they all yielded no results.

“As i tried hard to feed my children, i decide to go into robbery. i have been doing this years now. It is only today that i’m caught. i’m sorry and i have repented from this acts.”
