A LIFE OF PURPOSE.

WHAT EXACTLY IS PURPOSE?

I was on the believe that one has got to find his purpose here on earth before he goes to the great beyond.

But in recent times, I've discovered that the problem isn't finding a purpose. This is where we might get it all wrong.

I remember when I wasn't saved,they were things I couldn't do, those things were outside God's jurisdiction and of course outside His purpose for my existence.

Now I'm saved, I already know I've found purpose. The big question should be,

WHAT IS PURPOSE? I'll walk you through the scriptures then you would see for yourself..

When you read Gen 3:1-10, in verse 10;
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
[10] Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

Now, Moses was busy about his business. It means your business isn't necessarily your reason for existence. But then Moses found God!

STOPPPPP THERE!!!

DO YOU GET? WOW, IT MEANS YOUR PURPOSE ON EARTH IS FINDING GOD.

You also remember our father Abraham? Abraham wouldn't have amounted to anything if he hadn't found God(Although God found him, even Moses..).

But then, if you really find God, you would definitely fulfill destiny.

Solomon says in Prov3: 6; Acknowledge God in all your ways and He will direct your path.

This means that you necessarily don't need to be finding a purpose.

All you need particularly is finding God.

The bible says you shall find God if you seek Him with all your heart.

You can't be over spiritual.
You can't be over Holy.
You can't be a born again-believer.
You can't be a genuinly saved believer.
You can't be a true Christian.

All of these are human ideology.
Permit me to call them human inscribed scriptural tautology.

Just like saying "GOD IS BIG or LARGE"
In the scriptural sense of it, God remains the same. God doesn't increase, He doesn't decrease.

I hope you aren't bringing "that you might increase,and I might decrease" into this concept? ?

SCRIPTURALLY,
It's either you are:

👉BORN AGAIN
👉A BELIEVER.
👉SAVED.
👉CHRISTIAN.
👉HOLY.
👉SPIRITUAL.

We humans invented some things for the sake of segregation or separation.

Yeah, in the context of being "genuinely saved," we mean that a person must have accepted Jesus and then begin to live a life without sin.

Now hear me, dear reader..

Who is a believer? A believer is anyone who has accepted Jesus as the SAVIOUR.

It's you and I that really want to complicate the concept of SALVATION.

The Bible clearly states that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES WILL NOT PERISH.. So, what are the believing? Believing in Jesus christ.

In your quest to sound spiritual, I believe staying with the Bible will do us more good. Meanwhile, don't try to go deeper than the word of God.

We all like "Mystery" but a thing is only a mystery to someone who hasn't been exposed to light at that time.

Note:
1. So, it's EITHER YOU ARE NOT SAVED OR SAVED. When dealing with God, you can't be on the fence.

2. Moreso, a believer can be carnally minded. This is because he's failed to completely yield his body to God.

3. A carnal man can be a believer, but no natural man is a believer.

Finally brethren, I believe that as a Christian, you should expose yourself to the word of God so you can grow thereby.

"Meditate on these things,give yourself wholy unto them."

"Whatsoever things are true,Whatsoever things are honest,pure, of praise and good report, THINK ON THESE THINGS."

Longevity of a thing doesn't equate accuracy...

FAITH VS HOPE

Now, faith has a sharp similarity with hope, but there's a distinct between the both of them.

1. Faith is the assurance that a thing will happen or has happened. Lk7:7

Hope is the expectation of a thing that will happen in the future.

2. Faith functions on the NOW.

Hope functions on the things to come.

3. In FAITH, it's done. In HOPE, it will be done.

4. FAITH can stand alone, HOPE needs faith to stand.

5. Why FAITH holds that a thing will happen, HOPE strengthens us all thru until the day of manifestation.

Note: Biblical HOPE is very different from your English dictionary meaning of Hope.

HOW I MET JESUS

This is my Testimony.

Around 2015, I met Jesus. This happened right in my house. I remember I was conversing with my siblings around past 11pm -12am. It was on a Friday night.
My siblings and myself were discussing about two young kids of about age 9 and 7 and these kids were doing wonders for the Lord. I was really touched by the testimonies I was hearing.

Prior to that time, I had already accepted Jesus. But then, I went back to the world.

Yes of course, I knew I had a call of God. I've had countless revelations. I had received prophecies from great men of God. But I never wanted to serve God at an early stage of my life. I didn't want to🙂.

But JESUS saved me. In fact, the next day which was on a Saturday, just like Apostle Paul, I decided to fast. I fasted for 22 hours🤲. Kai, I didn't believe it myself. Prior to this time, I've barely fasted until 1pm.

SINCE THAT DAY, MY JOURNEY AS A SOLIDER OF THE CROSS BEGAN!

Oh, I used to love fighting. I was a very stubborn person. But you see, Jesus invested in me.

Now, I can say, I'm a PROFIT TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

Hear me friends, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOUR SINS CAN BE, THE PRICE ON THE CROSS HAS COVERED THE BILLS.

JESUS CAN SAVE YOU.

IF YOU WOULD WANT ME TO TEACH YOU MORE ON THE WAYS OF CHRIST, SEND A MESSAGE TO ME.

A MAN THAT TRULY PRAYS DOESN'T DEPEND ON HIS PRAYERS.

I know someone is already confused. Yes, listen, a man who truly prays never depends on his prayers.

The Bible stated clearly that "it's by His mercy are we not consume."

While we encourage us to pray as the Bible has instructed, it's important for Christians to note that God does what He will in His own time.

It's okay to pray 10 hours. BUT YOUR ANSWERS ARE NOT IN 10 HOURS OF PRAYERS. It's God that gives answers.

The reason you spend long time in prayer should be a function of intimacy. Like a man who loves his wife would spend time with her. This should be one major reason to spend time with God.

Now, YOUR QUESTION SHOULD BE, WHAT THEN SHOULD I DEPEND ON?

WHAT RIGHTEOUSNESS IS..

Matthew 5:20
[20]For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

One question we should ask ourselves is what truly RIGHTEOUSNESS is?

In this present days, so many people have misunderstood what RIGHTEOUSNESS is..

Some folks believe that what they do is truly what makes them RIGHTEOUS.

In fact some believe that only when they are on fast, then they are RIGHTEOUS.

While some believe that washing of HANDS, FACE AND LEGS is what makes one RIGHTEOUS..

From our text..

Jesus was talking to the people and His disciples that they can enter into God's kingdom if their RIGHTEOUSNESS supercedes that of the Jews..

One question is this..

Was Jesus talking about RIGHTEOUSNESS by WORK here?

CAPITAL NO!

Looking at it, twas obvious that even the Scribes and Pharisees were set of RIGHTEOUS people but their RIGHTEOUSNESS was based on works and not FAITH!

They depended on their

1. Arms giving
2. Good speeches
3. Prayers
4. Visiting the sick..
5. Religious services...

But then, Jesus told His disciples and people around that if their own RIGHTEOUSNESS was not on that of FAITH in our LORD JESUS CHRIST, they can't enter into heaven...

One question is this...

Are your RIGHTEOUSNESS on works of your hand or on FAITH in CHRIST?

Forget anything you believe you must be doing that is good!

If you don't believe in JESUS then you will not enter into God's kingdom..

How can a man believe in JESUS?

1. Believe that JESUS is the Son of God and He came in the flesh!

2. Confess(declare) that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for you.

3. Believe that He has risen from the grave and He will come again..

This is how you can be Saved!

Congratulations you are now SAVED!

Some days ago, I had a revelation. In that revelation, I saw that many Christians were putting away their Bibles.

I saw great men of God throwing their bibles away. I was so surprised. In fact, I saw a great notable man of God who also threw his Bible away.

Then I saw the Children of the Bond woman(Muslims) dominating the world.

When I judged this revelation with the Word of God, I saw that it's true.

The Bible says in the last days, Matt.24.12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Many Christians will slack, I'm sorry to be a bearer of bad news.

Luke.18.8 - I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

This is Jesus asking. Check your salvation sir.

If you think you stand, you take heed lest you fall.

Dear believer, are you still checking if you are in the faith? Results are deceitful. Remember, your heart with God is all that matters.

WHAT LEGACY WILL YOU LEAVE BEHIND?

Dear young Minister, this is a question to you. Perhaps you are not even a Minister, this question is also for you.

I heard about a man called "W F KUMUYI," this man raised a sceptre of HOLINESS. It happened that during his prime, different companies would write to him telling him that they would love to recruit his members.

Pastor WF KUMUYI was a man that sounded an alarm of Holiness that really shook the world.

I didn't just hear this story, in the year 2018,around festive period,precisely December, I was preparing to go for Deeper Life December Retreat and I needed to buy something, it happened that the money I had was more than the cost of what I bought. So this seller didn't have change to balance me and she asked, "WHAT CHURCH DO YOU ATTEND?"

I replied.. "DEEPER LIFE CHURCH." The next thing she told me was, "DON'T WORRY, WHEN YOU COME BACK FROM YOUR CAMP, YOU CAN PAY."

This woman could leave the money for me because I was a deeper lifer.

A MAN CALLED KUMUYI RAISED A SCEPTRE 🔥🔥🔥.

Apostle,you live a life contrary to what you preach. You only know POWER! POWER!!

HOLINESS? ❌️
PURITY?❌️
RIGHTEOUSNESS?❌️

BUT WE WILL RAISE A PEOPLE OF HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN OUR TIME, WE WILL FOLLOW THE WAYS OF OUR FATHER.

WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT "MERLIN"

Please, don't criticize me.I've been wanting to speak on this for a very long time because the Holy Ghost has taught me a lot on this movie.

The Holy Spirit has someth to tell you, I understand that it's a magic movie, but you would learn something.

👉. SUCCESS IS NOT DETERMINED BY STAYING AT THE FOREFRONT.

In our generation where everyone wants to use the mic. I've seen how that some of us just struggle so we could be seen praying vigorously with the mic. But you see, that's not the case for MERLIN, MERLIN was on many cases restricted to go for war. But you see he was the one that always brought the victory to Camelot.

👉. MERLIN NEVER FORGETS HIS SOURCE.

If you noticed every single time MERLIN was confounded, he always sought the WARLOCK(OLD DRAGON). You could see that this young man knew that he was so limited without the help of the WARLOCK.

How many of our young Ministers seek the Lord again? We are so carried away by so many activities that we even relegate the place of GOD in our lives. Do you still seek the LORD why he may be found?

👉. FULFILLING PURPOSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FAME.

MERLIN was a fulfilled "ERRAND BOY." You see the dude had the opportunity to be the "Big Boy," but he chose to remain in his position of duty.
The Lord God has called you to be an "INTERCESSOR," but your problem is you want to hold the Mic so we can see you as an upcoming "Apostle Edu.""
Understanding that doing the work of a Pastor when the Lord has called you to be an Apostle would lead you to your doom.

THE FAILURE OF WILLIAM BRAHAM was when he entered into the "Teaching ministry" rather than remaining in the PROPHETIC God has called him into.

👉. WEALTH IS NOT AN OBVIOUS SIGN OF FULFILLMENT.

I know that this will get you, but you see, that you are wealthy doesn't mean you are living a fulfilled life.

MERLIN could have been so successful and wealthy, but he knew that the "Destiny of a great kingdom lied on his hands."
I'm not against you becoming wealthy because it's God's will for us,but don't confuse RICHES for FULFILLMENT.

👉. YOUR DESTINY, YOUR LIFE

If you have watched the movie, MERLIN's life was protecting Arthor. He knew he would be so useless if Arthor dies.

You see, in life, you have gotta take your assignment so seriously. Your whole life depends on it. Don't take it with levity.

If the Lord has called you to be a "Kingdom Financier," Finance the gospel with all you have.

If He has called you to be an intercessor,remain there.

IT'S GOD THAT REWARDS ACCORDING TO WHAT HE'S CALLED US TO DO.

CAN TEMPTATION BE STOPPED?

Some folks have come into my inbox to ask me questions about things happening right in their mind.

And this stuff has brought guilt upon many, making them feel as if they are not Christians.

A young Christian guy was crying bitterly and asking God for mercy just because he had an er****on after seeing things that triggered that.

You see, most Christians swim in the pool of ignorance and Satan uses the advantage against them.

A Christian sis who got offended by her friend wasn't happy. One day she saw the friend, and then something popped into her mind to retaliate, suddenly she started saying "God forgive me, i know I'm a sinner".

C'mon what is the sin committed at that point?

We are pilgrims running the race to heaven. Some things are inevitable, the advantage we have is just the Holy Spirit to overcome those temptations.

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray. And he said one thing "Lead us not into temptation".

But then Luke 4:1-3; told us how Jesus Himself was driven into the wilderness by God himself for one purpose which is "Temptation".

So can we say Jesus was contradicting Himself when he taught His apostles how to pray? No!

Lead us not into temptation simply means If we are tempted, we should not fall: or Grace to overcome temptation

No one is above being tempted. Even Our God in the flesh was tempted.
Imagine what He said "if it were possible let this cup pass over me".

Do you see that? He knew he was to die, but for him to ask God to take it away.. Hmm

A young man once complained that he will just sit in his house, and even when he isn't thinking he will just see a provocative picture of a lady he saw in the market.

Two things you need know.

1. Your memory is active.
2. As a young guy, this is a delicate stage of your life when things like this are bound to happen.

In fact young guys are hungrier for s*x more because this is an early stage of puberty. Funnily enough God designed all these things in us. Don't panic Jesus is aware of that!

But then, that is why we have the WORD, GLORY!

The Bible says

👉I keep under my body, and keep it into subjection(1Corithians9:27)
👉I die daily(1Corithians 15:21)
👉 Present your body a living sacrifice; be transformed by renewing your mind with the word of God(Romans 12:1,2;)

So then, can we stop evil thoughts from popping into our minds?

Capital NO!

Can we counter this thoughts with the WORD of God?

Capital YES!

I want us to know that the flesh is fallen and fallen for ever. So our advantage is the Holy Spirit who is there to guide us into righteous path.

Rely on Christ Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith.

Then we will be over comers💪💪💪

Permit me to explain this!

To THINK EVIL is different from EVIL POPPING INTO YOUR MIND!

The former is deliberate the latter is suggested by devil.

The key is the Word of God!

WHAT A VISE PRINCIPAL TOLD ME; THE COUNSEL OF BALAK

It's 2018 when I went to a secondary school to preach, I got there early even before the assembly commencement and then I was called in by one of the vise Principal of the school.

Here was the conversation we had.

HIM: What's your name?
ME: Peter.

HIM: Are you in school?
ME: Not yet sir, but in process.

Him: You see, you are a young boy, you should not be here this early morning to preach. I'm also a Christian, I also go to church.

"I WANTED to INTERRUPT, BUT THE HOLY GHOST TOLD ME TO KEEP QUIET."

ME: Hmm, okay sir.

HIM: Where is your mom?
Me: She's gone on her business.

HIM: You should be helping your mom, instead of preaching. I understand you are passionate. But you see help your mom.
ME: Okay sir. I understand Sir.

HIM: You can go.
ME: Thank you so much.

Well, for nothing shall separate me from the love of Christ.
So I left his office, by then it's already time for the assembly meeting.

While I was going, I heard very loud in my spirit "THE COUNSEL OF BALAK". I smiled and went on to preach to the Student.

What is THE COUNSEL OF BALAK?

Num.22.5 - He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
Num.22.6 - Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

The counsel was against God's will for Isreal.

LESSON: You have to be very careful who you receive counsels from, many of them might be innocent but be backed by the devil.

Sometimes the Holy Ghost might instruct you to go on a week fast and there comes your parents telling you not to kill yourself and that they also are Christians. The Lord would say you should sow everything in your account and there comes your Fiancé giving you a thousand reasons you shouldn't. They are sincere, but the sincerity is backed by the Devil.

Be discerning and prayerful to know these counsels and avoid them.

In this last days, you have got to hear God for yourself and not depending on your Pastors.
Receive Grace in Jesus name.

My goodness.
Something is cooking brethren, invite your family and friends.

How shall they believe if there are no signs and wonders?
