ABULOMA ARCHDEACONRY DESTINED FOR GREATNESS

Sunday 17th December, 2023 at the Immanuel Anglican Church; Turuja, saw the new executive office bearers inaugurated for the next administrative session.

Mr. Okuru Jonathan, ANTO while performing the inauguration rites charged the new executive Office bearers to brace up for onerous task ahead and position the Abuloma Archdeaconry for greatness.

The atmosphere in the church was filled with anticipation and optimism as the executive office bearers took their oath of office. The Abuloma Archdeaconry had a rich history and a strong foundation, but it was time to take it to new heights.

Mr. Okuru Jonathan, ANTO, a respected figure in the church community, delivered a powerful speech that resonated with everyone present. He spoke about the importance of unity, faith, and unwavering commitment to the Archdeaconry's mission. He reminded the new office bearers that they had been entrusted with a great responsibility and that their actions would shape the future of the Abuloma Archdeaconry.

The newly appointed office bearers listened attentively, their hearts filled with determination and a sense of purpose. They understood the challenges that lay ahead, but they were ready to face them head-on. They knew that greatness was not handed on a silver platter; it was earned through hard work, dedication, and a deep belief in their purpose.

As the inauguration ceremony came to a close, the congregation erupted in applause and cheers. The Abuloma Archdeaconry was destined for greatness, and with the new executive office bearers at the helm, there was a renewed sense of hope and excitement.

On the 14th of June 2023 at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church, Ebubu, Eleme; the coordinator of the ACB Diocese of Okrika Mr Okuru Johnathan ANTO received his certificate of merit as an Advance National Training Officer (ANTO) of the Boys Brigade Nigeria.

By so doing Mr Okuru Johnathan has attained the highest training in Boys Brigade.

ASSEMBLY OF THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION BRIGADE, NIGER DELTA PROVINCE.

The Niger Delta Ecclesiastical Province of the ACB held her general meeting at the St. Jude’s Anglican Church, amadi-ama roundabout Port Harcourt on the 21st July 2023.

As it is conventional, the meeting gave rooms to members to be notified of some vital issues and information. The provincial coordinator Chukwudi Ebim ANTO, speaking asked for synergy between the Boys and Girls Brigade to further advance the organization.

The meeting was initially to birth an election but saw the election shifted to another date which will be communicated in due time.

82nd Port Harcourt company attached to St. Jude’s Anglican Church, amadi-ama welcomed the Coordinator Anglican Communion Brigade, Diocese of Okrika today 15th July 2023.

The coordinator was excited to see the company having their meeting and he took the opportunity to address members of the company and urges them to go into their communities to fetch for more boys.

Furthermore the coordinator admonishes them to continue in this stride by carrying out enrollment service as its been long an enrollment was held. The boys were excited at the presence of the coordinator as another meeting was fixed for later this month with the coordinator willing to take them on a lecture.

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP SEEKS SOLOMON.

As part of the vision of the ACB coordinator to make all moribund company’s in the Diocese of Okrika active and in line with the state council of the BBN/RSC.

The ACB were present to witness the maiden enrollment service of the 21st Okrika company attached to St. Philip’s Anglican Church Oba Ama on the 9th day of July 2023.

Service which featured the declaration of chaplain, induction of patrons and enrollment of Boys’ and officers, as Solomon E. Levi was installed captain.

Mr. Johnathan T. Okuru ANTO ACB coordinator who also represented the state secretary/organizer of the BBN/RSC and Provincial coordinator Chukwudi Ebim ANTO, charged the company and the church to make sure that the company stands firm.

CONCURRENCE OF THE ANGLICAN COMMUNION BRIGADES DIOCESE OF OKRIKA.

As members of the ACB converges for the first general council meeting for the year 2023, the ACB chaplain Ven Otonye Bulopakaye in his exhortation speaking from Luke 12:32, urges members to try their best in the roles that they are assigned to as everyone will give account for his service.

The meeting which was held at the All Saints Anglican Church Okochiri Deanery, on the 29th June 2023, had members of various institutions of the ACB present.

Essence of the meeting was to deliberate on matters in the ACB and informations were also received. The coordinator expressed his disappointment with some of the executives that took an oath at the altar during their inauguration and have not been living up to expectations and in that vain not been attending meetings irrespective of positions. The officers present took a general decision to defer the appointment of the music director and Band leader II and therefore a bye election will be held in subsequent meeting. Furthermore the ACB congratulates the chaplain for his preferment from a Rev Can. to a venerable and pray God to continue to use him in his vineyard.

The Coordinator Mr. Okuru Jonathan ANTO in part of his speech called for synergy between fellowship and the company’s across the ACB and non Functional Company's with moribund Captains to assist the Fellowship in her Revival stride.

The Okochiri missionary Deanery in their appreciation thanked members for turning out. As the next general council meeting is slated for the first week of December 2023 at Okrika South Archdeaconry (OSA).

The testimony of God is divided into two Testaments (Old and New). His agreements with mankind are divided into Old and New Covenants. In addition, though 2 in number, God the Father and God the Son (Jesus Christ) compose a single Godhead.

On Sunday, 30th April, 2023 at the All Saints Anglican cathedral, Rumuokwurusi. The BBN-RSC held her investiture of Barr. Golden Otonye Tamuno as state president alongside the inauguration of other state’s executive officer’s.

The service which saw the coordinator of the Anglican Communion Brigade Diocese of Okrika, Mr. Jonathan Ebenezer NTO as the assistant state secretary/organizer which signifies the number Two (2).

The ritual of inauguration was artfully executed by the national council of the Boy’s Brigade Nigeria ably led by the national president Prof. Sampson Duna and national secretary Mr Adamu Monday ANTO, the state Grand chaplain Rt. Rev’d Innocent U. Ordu JP, DSSRS who was represented by Ven. Alex Usifoh and the state secretary/organizer Chukwudi Ebim ANTO.

Okrika North East Is Charged To Deliver

At the Anglican Church of the Holy Spirit, Amoni Polo Missionary Parish Azuabie, Trans Amadi Port Harcourt on the 16th April 2023, where the inauguration of new office bearers for the Okrika North East archdeaconry was held.

The inauguration which sworn in Hon. Ugwem Okworobo Dick as the chairman Patrons Forum.

Coordinator of the ACB speaking during the ceremony, charged the newly elected office bearers to live upto expectations and discharge their duties perfectly.
