Youthful age is the most exciting, active and dynamic period of one's life. This stage of life is characterized by physical strength, dreams of a great future, quest for adventure and acquisition of knowledge and experience. At this age, one can achieve the best in life. Youths are full of hopes and dreams. They want to try new things, discover and create things. In a way, these are advantageous to them because this penchant to discover, create and try new things can be channeled towards productivity. Besides, young people who were curious, passionate and adventurous pioneered some great innovations in the world today; young men and women who dared to dream.

If the youths are well guided and mentored, they will discover their God-given potentials, and channel those potentials towards problem solving. They will only be useful to themselves and their families; they will also be making substantial inputs to national development.

History is replete with youths who have contributed immensely to the progress of their countries. 16-year old Olivia Hallisay discovered a way to detect Ebola in less than 30minutes compare to the current that takes up to 12 hours to get results. Four Nigerian Secondary School students, all under age 15, devised a "urine - powered" generator that can supply 6 hours of uninterrupted electricity with one litre of processed urine.

These ingenious minds are just few of the countless number of youths in our generation. Youths should constantly be reminded of their uniqueness and encouraged to be at their best before this stage of their lives passes by.

Hence, Hon. Esimaje Vincent Awani, a frontline aspirant contesting the Warri South Chairmanship Council position, who is a youth has promised to promote youth empowerment and job creation for youths. In his manifesto tagged "Project Re Activate Warri" he said that he would make sure youths are at the helm of affairs in the decision making process of Warri South Local Government Area.

Good governance is an inalienable(natural)right and privilege citizens are expected to enjoy in a society especially at the grassroot level. The local government is a government at the grassroot level which is the tier of government that is closest to the people. Hence it is ideal that the people at the grassroot enjoy good governance.

It is the task and responsibility of the government at the local level to provide quality and efficient governance for the common good of society. Hence, the goal of a political leader should be to provide his people with good and quality governance.

However, to achieve good and quality governance at the local government level in the contemporary Nigerian society seems unachievable due to multiplicity of unwholesome setbacks ranging from, lack of local government autonomy, bribery and corruption, embezzlement of public funds, interference by other tiers of government, lack of accountability and transparency, greed, poor leadership and others too numerous to mention in this discourse. Thus, it is still possible for good governance to be achieved in Nigeria.

Consequently, Hon. Esimaje Vincent Awani, a frontline aspirant contesting the Warri South Local Government Council Chairmanship position has urged the good people of Warri South, the PDP leadership and the Executive Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to support him in achieving his ambition to promote and achieve good and quality governance in Warri South in other for speedy progress in the local government. Hon. It's an obvious reality that Nigerians crave for good leadership and quality governance at all levels of government especially at the grassroot level. Once a people discover a charismatic Leader who can provide them with good governance and leadership, you see them giving him massive support politically. This has made me to investigate Wafferians, to find out their choice of aspirant for the upcoming Local Government Elections in Warri South. The result of my investigation was mind blowing, as majority of Wafferians crave for Hon. Esimaje Awani to become the next Warri South Local Government Council Chairman.

Hon. Esimaje Awani is an household name in the socio-economic cm political architecture of Warri South Local Government Area. He is a popular grassroot politician who has a close affinity with the people of Warri. At a time like this when most Wafferians are investing their businesses out of Warri, it's worthy of note to emphasise that, all his businesses are in Warri. This has made him a huge employer of labour in the hospitality industry.

In addition, Hon. Esimaje Awani understands the needs, yearnings and aspirations of the people of Warri. His antecedents show him doing everything within his reach to take care of the needs of his people. This has made a lot of Wafferians queue behind him in his bid to transform Warri. During the consultation visits for the Chairmanship position, I personally discovered the love and joy exhibited by the people of Warri South when even he is seen. In fact, he is a charismatic figure who is believed by Wafferians to transform Warri for them. The people of Warri have so much confidence in him because of his people centered leadership qualities.

Subsequently, the large patronage, acceptance, love and support Hon. Esimaje Awani is receiving from the people of Warri South is similar to the acceptance he is receiving from the political principalities and leadership of Warri South. This general acceptance from the people of Warri South is a reflection of the fact that God is with Hon. Esimaje Awani.

In conclusion, I am imploring the few doubting Thomases with different opinion about this mandate to change their mind by joining the winning team, by supporting Hon. Esimaje Awani for the Chairmanship position of Warri South Local Government Council.

Esimaje Awani paid a political consultation visit to a PDP chieftain in Warri, Mr. Emmanuel Shola-Abigor at his residence. The team got a very warm and homely reception from Mr. Emmanuel Abigor.

Hon. Esimaje Awani in the meeting declared his intention to run as the next executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council in the upcoming Local Government Elections. He summarised his manifesto tagged "Project Re Activate Warri" as a template to take Warri South to a greater height. Harnessing Forests in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State

Warri South Local Government Area falls within the mangrove forest zone, sorrounded by predominantly rainforest, tending to Swamplands in some areas. The vegetation is rich in timber trees, palm trees as well as fruit trees.

A forest is a large expanse of land that is covered with variety of trees and under bush. It is a large expanse of land covered with trees and co-exists with plants and animals. It's an obvious reality that we have forests in some parts of Warri South especially the riverine axis that needs to be harnessed for the socio-economic benefit of the society at large.

Therefore, Hon. Esimaje Vincent Awani plans on transforming the forests in the communities of Warri South Local Government Area, especially the riverine areas into recreation and tourist sites. He will advance the Red Mangrove Swamp and invest in the Falcorp Mangrove Park/Mini Zoo, Ijala transforming them into world class standard. This can be achieved through active collaboration with the state government, private sector, Non Governmental Organisation's NGO's and the leadership of the communities. This will enable the council promote the tourism sector by harnessing the forests in Warri South.

Furthermore, it's a fact that forests help in the conservation of wildlife. In Nigeria, we have some game reserves in which wildlife are preserved, for example, the Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi. Thus, Hon. Esimaje Awani will use the machineries of government at the grassroot level with active collaboration with private investors, State government and NGO's to establish world class game reserve locations in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
