*You Can Hear God!*

SCRIPTURE PASSAGE: John 10:1-14

*MEDITATION:* John 10:3a & 4b
_“To him the porters’ openeth and the sheep hear His voice: he goeth before them and the sheep follow Him for they know His voice”_

Every child of God has the capacity to hear God. You have the in-built equipment to ‘download’ information from the mind of God. God is a spirit. You have a re-born human spirit capable of receiving what God speaks to you by His Spirit. Your spirit has ears that can hear God, eyes that can see the things of God, and the ability to 'feel' your way forward by the Holy Spirit. All you need to do is to train and exercise your spiritual senses.

Jesus said you are His sheep, and you will know His voice when you hear it. Your faith should connect to that statement and it must become your constant confession.

Stop looking at those who claim to hear God as some special spiritual ‘gurus’ or super-perfect saints. Every believer is the sheep of God’s pasture (Psalms 100:3). He is our Great Shepherd, so we are equipped to know His voice when we hear it.

We have the nature of God in us to confirm His leading. God is a faith God. God is love. God is the only wise God. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. So, any voice or leading which induces fear cannot be from God. Any voice that stirs hatred or other feelings that are contrary to love cannot be from God, neither can any voice that steals your peace. In His presence is the fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11), and since that presence dwells in you, you now possess the capacity to live and walk where His voice is clear.

_“As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”_ Rom. 8:14.
You are His child, so you can expect to be led by Him for your profiting.

*CONFESSION*
I am a sheep of the Great Shepherd. I know His voice when I hear it. I cannot be deceived by false voices. God's indwelling presence confirms every leading I receive in Jesus Name.
