The "law of the farm" applies to relationships as well as to the rest of life - you reap what you sow and to have great friends you must first be one.

Remember that forgiveness is a virtue that few develop, but one that is most important to maintaining peace of mind. MARK TWAIN wrote that forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it. Practice forgiveness especially in those situations where it is seemingly difficult. By using your emotional forgiveness muscles more regularly, petty wrongs, remarks and slights will not touch you and nothing will pe*****te your concentrated, serene mindset.

The Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo confirmed on Monday that the Central Bank of Nigeria has asked commercial banks to dispense and accept old naira notes as deposits.

Soludo, a former CBN governor, made this known in a statement he posted on his social media handles.

He explained that the Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele gave the directive at a Banker’s Committee meeting on Sunday.

He added that Emefiele personally confirmed the directive to him.

According to him, residents should report banks refusing to accept the old notes.

“Commercial banks have been directed by the Central Bank to dispense old currency notes and also to receive the same deposits from customers. Tellers at commercial banks are to generate the codes for deposits, and there is no limit to the number of times an individual or company can make deposits.

“The Governor of the CBN gave the directive at a Bankers’ Committee meeting held on Sunday, 12th March 2023. The Governor, Dr Godwin Emefiele, personally confirmed the above to me during a phone conversation on Sunday night. Residents of Anambra are therefore advised to freely accept and transact their businesses with the old currency notes (N200, N500; and N1,000) and the new notes”, the statement contained.

During the visits, the honourable member in waiting, thanked the traditional leaders of Tadnum and Banram communities for their reception, prayers, blessings and of all, wishes for victory at the end of the 2023 polls.

He thanked also the community members of Banram, Bulgun and Tadnum for coming out in their numbers to receive him. He appreciated them immensely for the show of love and solidarity.

Time passed by. Maradona became a drug addict.
Platini was banned from football administration for corruption.
And Pele refused to accept his biological daughter Sandra Regina Arantes, who was born as the result of his affair with a housemaid (in 1964). Arantes filed a lawsuit against Pele. She won the case with DNA tests results and later wrote a book, "The Daughter the King Did Not Want", that described her mother’s affair.

Two important lessons:
1) Nobody is perfect;
2) Appearances can be deceptive.

Following the recent incessant attacks by unidentified gun men at Gambar Sabon Layi that consumes four lives, many injured and one kidnapped.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer for Dass|Tafawa Balewa|Bogoro federal constituency, Hon. Barr. Kefas M. Magaji was at the General Hospital Tafawa Balewa, where the bodies of the victims were kept to bid them farewell.

He consoled with the entire Gambar Sabon Layi community over the attacks. Asking God to continue to give the entire community the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and comfort them in His own special ways.

He further prayed may God exposed the secrets of those behind this evil and horrible act, and grant the souls of the Innocent victims eternal rest with the Lord Jesus Christ.

:As President Buhari says Gov Bala has done well in Bauchi

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state on Monday welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari to Bauchi who was in the state for the presidential campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

While receiving the President at Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport, Bauchi, the governor said party differences is normal in politics hence the need for him to come out and welcome the Nigerian leader.

Governor Bala Mohammed said for the first time in the history of Bauchi State, the political space of the state has been opened to all the political parties to conduct their political rallies without interference or intimidation from the ruling party.

"President Muhammadu Buhari has told me that he is coming to Bauchi and is my duty to come and receive him on behalf of the Government and people of Bauchi State. With this the President has shown that politics is different from governance.

"I am honoured that Mr President has commended me for what I am doing in Bauchi. All the Governors of APC and its gladiators are my friends so party differences is normal in politics."

The governor therefore appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for assisting the state to execute some developmental projects especially in water, education and health sectors, describing them as legacy projects.

President Muhammadu Buhari while at the Bauchi Emir's Palace, applauded Governor Bala Mohammed for his investment in critical stakeholders of the state’s economy for the benefit of the citizenry.
