God expects that:

1. Parents should KNOW and LIVE as His children in order to LEAD THEIR CHILDREN in the way of the LORD ( GENESIS 17:1).

2. Parents should PROVIDE for the basic needs ( Spiritual, Material, Emotional, Educational, etc.) of their children (1Timothy 5:8).

3. The Parents _Child relationship must be based on LOVE and CARE (EPHESIANS 6:4).

4. Parents should start training their children early (Proverbs 22:6).

5. Parents should TEACH their children the WORD OF GOD (DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7).

6. Parents should relate with their children in TRUTH and OPENNESS (PROVERBS 12:19).

7. Parents should be GOOD ROLE MODELS (2TIMOTHY 1:5).

8. Parents should apply CORRECTION and DISCIPLINE in LOVE, when and where necessary. However; children should not be abused in the name of CORRECTION or DISCIPLINE (PROVERBS 13:24).

I PRAY FOR ALL PARENT, THE GRACE TO CARRY OUT THESE EXPECTATION SHALL BE SUFFICIENT UNTO YOU IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS.
