Have you noticed how relieved you feel after sleeping, especially if you were stressed and tired prior to sleeping?
Or how refreshed you feel taking a day off at work just to sleep at home.
That’s what sleep does.
Sleeping helps you recover from mental as well as physical exhaustion.
Sleep and health are strongly related - poor sleep can increase the risk of having poor health, and poor health can make it harder to sleep
It’s the day of rest, shut those lids and just sleep, cheers!
We hope you take the time to celebrate with family and friends, and to remember the true significance of this season - the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which represents new beginnings, renewal, and hope.
Happy Easter!💚
This is one of the reasons you feel tired and stressed out already this new week. It’s just Wednesday and barely midweek, yet you feel drained and like every other week, you can’t wait for the weekend.
You already know you should be resting but you somehow feel it’s an absolute waste of time. So here it is…
REST IS NOT WASTED TIME. Rest is just as important as hard work!! Rest, 9-12 hours will do you no harm.
How many hours of rest do you get per day?
It’s easy to be carried away, and get totally consumed in the world of social media.
It is important to realize that you’re in charge of what you consume online, as such, it is beneficial to be selective, in order to safeguard your mental health.
Social media should never have to be a yardstick to measure your success or happiness. It is a quick way to fall into self-pity, feelings of stagnation, and even depression.
Make it a point of duty to safeguard your mental health and filter what you consume online. Unfollow certain pages if need be, but by all means, put your sanity first.
What precautions will you be taking today to protect your mental health on social media?
Let us know in the comment section below.
It’s normal to get worked up and feel overwhelmed sometimes, especially considering all that is ongoing around you.
It’s okay to sometimes get in your feelings, and feel unable to help yourself, but what is not okay is to remain in that state.
Situations and happenings have a wa of getting in your feelings, but that’s why we’re here for you.
🎄Merry Christmas! Today is a day for celebrating. But it’s important to remember that the holiday season can also be a difficult time for many people, especially those struggling with mental health issues.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or struggling with your mental health today, know that you are not alone. It’s okay to take a break from the celebrations and take care of yourself. Seek support from friends, family, or send us a DM to get connected to a mental health professional if needed. Remember to practice self-care and be kind to yourself.
We hope that today brings you joy, love, and a bit of peace. Wishing you all the best this holiday season.
And it never will be.

In fact, recognizing you need help and going ahead to accept help for a mental health condition shows great strength and courage💯.

Take a deep breath and focus on your senses.
👁️🗨️ Look around and identify five things you can see.

🖐️🤚 Touch something nearby and describe three things you can feel.
👃 Take a deep breath and notice two things you can smell.

But seriously, saying ‘sorry’ is very difficult, but it also has the potential to be one of the most powerful words of restoration, a word of healing and a word of starting over.
Apologizing doesn’t absolve you or the other person from their role or culpability, and has far greater benefits for us than stubbornly waiting for an expression of remorse.
Pray for humility, for maturity and a capacity for self-examination. Life will continually test us on these.
Send this to someone that doesn’t like saying ‘sorry’.

📌I am resilient and capable of overcoming any challenges that come my way.
📌I choose to surround myself with positivity and let go of toxic influences.
📌I am enough as I am, and I am worthy of love, happiness, and fulfillment.
📌I am deserving of love, care, and compassion, including from myself.

Always remember that it is okay to set and maintain boundaries to protect your mental health, even if it means saying no to some relationships.
Make your mental health priority.
Being unforgiving can weigh heavily and lead to you damaging yourself when built up over time;
~Suppressed anger. People who often get angry for any reason typically have issues associated with forgiveness.
~Low self-esteem. Lack of self-love stems from not forgiving yourself or self-acceptance.
~Bitterness, which can increase the risk of depression.
~Constant worrying can increase the risk sleep deprivation and anxiety.
When someone has upset or disappointed you, the logical response would be to think that you’re hurting them by not forgiving them and holding a grudge.
The harsh truth is that you’re actually causing yourself more pain by holding on to the anger, and the person that you wish not to forgive has the subconscious power to control you.
Take your power back!
