Hi! My name is Chidiebere Oje I am passionate about God and a few other things you may not have known about.
Craft has been a side attraction to me. Growing up I made attempts to craft a wedding card, put up some beady stuffs dangling at the bottom of the card then I created a stand. Using a pole to hold up the card.
Then many years later I got to enroll in a training… craft of course. It was a footwear making training course. It ran for about four months.
I feel bad that I don’t have those pictures of my experience there and the first foot wear I made😂.

I’ll tell you in a bit. Then I was obsessed about ‘monk strap’ design, I saw a particular picture but did not know it was called monk strap until a blessed day my trainer did that same design and informed us it is called monk strap. I was excited that a picture could actually become a reality. A month after training we had our practical demonstration. I was so excited because I was about to show the world I had what it takes to produce a monk strap.
We started the first amazement I got that day was that I cut 2left legs (sole)😳😭😤…😂 so I had to buy another material (nora3) to correct myself. **** At the end of the day I produce a ‘monster’ instead of a monk strap🥴🤣🤣..
Time passed, exposure happened to me, experiences were formed and my interest graduated into doing the business. My trainer is one of a kind_ let me just call him my ‘Oga’ Nigerians will understand this better. So oga did well within the time I spent with him along side other Apprentice.

Time passed and I did a foot wear as a gift for a man who saw my work loved it asked me if I wanted to do the business, I replied in the affirmative and he sponsored my first bulk material.
