I'm attending an event called Worldwide Youth Climate Summit. Please, can you come?
Join us on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 10 AM -1 PM New York Time for the first ever Worldwide Youth Climate Summit organized by Bard College and the Open Society University Network through the Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice! During this powerful three-hour digital summit, hundreds of students and young people from around the world will convene as part of the global movement for climate justice and solutions. Attendees will build their activist networks by connecting with each other during small breakout sessions where they will hear each other’s climate stories and discuss the work that lies ahead. Participants will also be joined by climate activists who will share their stories and insights about how global youth can use their power to fight for just solutions to the climate crisis. Finally, attendees will learn about the Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice and how they can activate their institution and community in the fight for climate justice. This digital summit is a rare opportunity for a truly global community of youth climate activists to meet each other, network and build collective power. We hope you can join us and register here!

Freshwater and Community Conservation Remote Externship. Gain communication skills while translating global freshwater conservation issues into a local context.
1. Apply by February 20, 2023.
Submit your application as soon as you can to give yourself the best shot.
2. Part-time and fully remote.
This Externship is a 10-hour-per-week fully remote experience where all meetings and events are recorded.
3. Externship starts February 27, 2023. This remote Externship will last 8 weeks.
4. $500 Stipend for Students who successfully complete their externships will receive their educational stipends at the end of the program.
5. Geographical Eligibility. This Externship is open to all applicants (matriculated high school, undergraduate, and graduate students) ages 18-25 around the world.
NOTE: Individuals from locations impacted by freshwater conservation issues are strongly encouraged to apply.

The next Green Leaders Academy will run from March 7-May 2, 2022. It is part of a broader initiative led by 10 Billion Strong which aims to train 1 million green leaders in 36 key countries by 2025.
The program will be conducted online in English and is focused on preparing emerging youth leaders to understand key environmental issues, and learn how to use the civic engagement to effectively address environmental challenges.
