Sometime ago, we had this client who contracted us for his wedding suit and due to some circumstances beyond our control from one of our tailors, we were almost scared of not coming through for him but guess what, we tried our best and remedied the situation.

Our client was happy and our tailor was alright. It was a win win for everyone 🤗

TYPES OF MATERIALS FOR MEN'S WEARS.

In making the right choice, it is required that you learn about fabrics to help you pick the right material because this will determine the outcome of your finished product.

Here, we will outline 5 types of generally acceptable materials men should consider when they want to make a native attire.

1 Cashmere.

A lot of people may not realize the beauty of cashmere, because they have been seeing low quality cashmere. High quality cashmere are one of the most exotic and most expensive men material in Nigeria. They are used to make native outfits, suits , pant trousers, amongst several other types of cloth. These type of material are very durable and come in different designs and are very beautiful. They stand out as the best.

2. Guinea

This is a very common type of material, they are very common in the northern part of the country. These type of material comes in different grade. There are guinea materials that are sold at an average price, we also have expensive guinea materials.

3. Ankara

Some of my friends do not like wearing Ankara material. They feel it's downgraded but I am a big fan of Ankara and I make several colorful outfits from them. Ankara comes in different grades, hence at different prices. If you ever see a high quality Ankara, you will most definitely love to have some of your clothes made with Ankara.

4. Adire

Several people are missing out on this beauty called Adire.This material comes in different designs and colors. The quality of the Adire, depends on the type of material used in making it.

5. Stock material

It's quite easy to mistake stock material for cashmere, although they are quite different. Stock materials are the most commonly used materials for kaftan these days. Most stock materials are more affordable than cashmere. They come in different types and designs.

I do not recommend lace materials for men😔. I feel they are better worn by women🤷.

What type of material do you like using to make your native attire?

CHOOSING THE RIGHT MATERIALS.

Fashion is expressive and I like to see men step out in a well tailored native attire, I am one of them😂😂 A lot of people find it difficult to choose what type of material they think is best to sew a native attire.

There are several types of materials one can use to sew a native attire but using a very simple material is very important because it keeps you classy and comfortable.

If you don't want the attention that comes with noisy materials, it's best to keep it simple always and trust me, you will always look good.

Picking a good material can be one of the most stressful things to do when making a new cloth. Many people prefer paying their tailors to buy and select the materials for their native wears, all they are after is a good tailored design.

The overall beauty of your outfit has a lot to do with the material it was sewn from. So consider this when making that decision.
