Dear Dad & Mum, We thank the Lord for bringing you together and preserving you in the last 58 years of your marriage.

Your decision to come to serve God in Nigeria as a young couple four months into your marriage was a bold step that will inspire many missionaries in years to come. The sacrifices you made, the deprivations you sufferred show us what it means to yield our lives to Christ not counting the cost.

So glad to know that you both were not disobedient to the heavenly vision. We are grateful to God for the fruits of your obedience which now fill the face of the earth.

Thanks for showing us the pattern of the New Testament Church. May we continue to build according to this heavenly pattern.

We your spiritual children join your biological offsprings and rise up to call you blessed. May the Lord preserve you in health, vitality and intensified vision for many years to come. Happy 58th Wedding Anniversary to you our beloved Daddy Paul and Mummy Kate.

MANDATE 2023:
MAN: HIS, GOD GARDEN & GIRL

We are men of destiny & purpose: When a man gets it right, our family will get it right.

May the Lord make you a real head and not a figurehead.

Mandate: A man has a commission to do something.
Genesis 1:28

4 Components of Mandate:
1. Assignment - Work to do. Know, start and fulfil your assignment.
2. Authority - Delegated right to do it. God has backed up with the authority to carry out our assignment.
3. Support - Needed resources. If God sends you on an assignment, He will support you with the needed resources.
4. Blessing - Then God blessed them...
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
God blesses you first before He gives you a mandate.

Challenges are not to break us but to make us.

Be fruitful - Get results. Deuteronomy 28:8

MAN & HIS GARDEN:

Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
Genesis 2:15 NKJV

For us to fulfil our mandate, destiny and purpose, everyone must find their garden. Your garden is unique to you. God puts man in a garden.

Qualities of the Garden:
1. Wealth (Gold) - In your garden, there is wealth. Genesis 2:11-12.
2. Fragrance (Pleasant) (Bdellium) - There is joy, beauty and fulfilment in your garden.
3. Health (Onyx stone) - You can walk and prosper without stress in your garden.

MAN & HIS GIRL:
God gave Adam a girl, not girls: Monogamy is God's pattern for marriage. One man, one wife. Genesis 2:22.

Why did God give man his girl?
1. Companion - Your girl enhances your mandate. Amos 3:3
2. Compatriot. You are Joint heirs of the grace of life with your wife. 1 Peter 3:7.
3. Complement - Your wife is a helper appropriate and suitable for you. Genesis 2:18.
4. Complete - Man, you are incomplete without your girl. Many times, the key to a man's destiny is hidden in his wife.
5. Cleave - For a man to fulfil his mandate, there must be a cleaving and unity. Before cleaving, a man must first leave. Cleaving is difficult without nakedness (openness and transparency). Matthew 19:5-6
6. Compliment - Compliment, praise and commend your girl. Genesis 2:23
