Mine was in 2019😌
Even though I was writing exams in school and working 2 part time jobs, it was still the easiest Ramadan I’ve had in a long time

A lot of things contributed to it,
One was a beautiful and one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received,
a large sized Qur’an divided into juzs

Another major contribution was the community support I had in school
They might not realize it but the sisters in my school really helped with a lot of ibaadahs I was able to do in Ramadan that year without even saying a word to me

It was also the year I did something really close to full i’tikaaf
Did I mention free food that helped me save time from cooking?😋

It was a really beautiful Ramadan for me🥰
And I hope I can relive that experience this year or even do better In Sha Allah
May Allah spare our lives till then and beyond 🤗

When I was designing this, I thought about what I am doing to prepare for Ramadan 🤔

I remember I had a few things planned when the year started and I went back to check it out
To access if I’m on track and all

What I noticed was that I only planned the ibaadah (worship) aspect and as much as the primary reason for Ramadan is to get back on track and improve your faith,
There are other things you should plan too
Like your food for example,
Visiting friends and family,
Giving in charity
Who you want to send gifts to (my mum is on top of my list)

Some will argue this is the best gift (asides money😁) because it allows them choose whatever they want,

Small business are creating gift cards for their brands now to make it easy for you customers to gift your loved ones items from their stores
Whether it’s a gift card from their fviurite brands or from shopping centers, they’ll definitely appreciate the card because they get to buy what they actually want.

To kick off today, i’ll be choosing skincare as the theme of our gift idea,
Everyone takes care of their skin,
Or at least everyone should
Which is why skincare gifts is never wrong,
If they’re almost out, they’ll appreciate you for helping them with replacements
If not, they’ll be glad you save them time and money to replace their current one

Gifts like this however needs to be inquired about from the recipient
Just randomly ask them about their skincare products once so you won’t ruin the surprise anytime you wish to give them gifts
