The song "TIRED" by Aiseh is always therapeutic, refreshing, golden and ever green. Whenever I feel all locked down, demotivated, frustrated and uninspired or faced with pressure, I just put it on replay & let myself soak into the lyrics, beat, rhythm & vibes.

Most recently, I've added three songs from Johnny Drille to my therapeutic session, they are "HOME" featuring The Cavemen., "How Are You (My Friend)" and "Only God Knows (Beautiful Mind)".

It's very important for us to be careful about what we listen to in the name of music. While these ones ease my stress & anxiety, some others would cause me to flare up & eventually push me down the line into what I'm trying to avoid.

I don't know how Mercy Chinwo pulled through to win the second edition of the Nigerian Idol in 2012 but you see this lady Ugee Royalty she's presently doing some wonders & magic at De9jaSpirit Talent Hunt.

I don't follow the show back to back neither do I know the contestants but then I can be certain when I say she's one of the most exciting to watch and look out for.

The judges reaction on her last performance (a medley of songs from Mercy Chinwo, Moses Bliss, GUC & Frank Edwards) validates my opinion.

A point I love to talk about in her way of going through this competition is her loudness in showing that she loves God, His kingdom and never backing out on it.

She needs your support & it's never too late to help her out but then just like IK Ogbonna said "she wins the competition or not, she's already a winner" but then your votes can make her win the competition & still be a winner.

NAPS/SIESTA ARE GREAT, BENEFICIAL TO THE BODY BUT I HATE THEM

Going to bed early is not in my character, sleeping late is my default mode. For someone like me, having those afternoon sleep would only compound my problem of not sleeping early.

Growing up, my mother has always tried to make her children sleep in the afternoon but while my brothers will just lie down, sleep off and wake up sweaty, I on the hand, I get coconut head 😂 I will lie down, pretend to sleep and once my mom step out I'm up with my drawing book and pencil drawing what I don't know 😂 if I took it seriously I'd have probably been the hottest pencil artist 😂

Staying with my grandmother, majority of the kids in that neighborhood do have afternoon sleep but Samson? Never!!!

I started staying with my dad and I found out that in the afternoon once everywhere is calm, my siblings will just lie down and sleep off but not me making me to wonder "abi dem swear gimme say I no go fit sleep for afternoon" 😂

If ever you catch me sleeping in the afternoon, it's either I'm down healthwise or did work the previous day that ended up breaking my spirit, body and soul and a few times when I get squiffy 😏

Normally, my sleep time is from 2AM upwards but then yesterday 13th October 2022, I slept all through the afternoon because Imo State Polythenic frustrated the son of man the previous day 12th October 2022. It was a thing of joy for my good friends in the lodge I reside because they were spared from my light bul.yi.ng 😂 I'm sha a nice guy.

It was night time to sleep and I was hoping to go to bed earlier than before but then sleep was nowhere to be found, not a problem since I'm used to it. I went to YouTube watched a few music videos, reviews, went to Twitter, made research and was getting disturbed by one of my anyhow friend EJ on WhatsApp and wasn't really worried about the time.

As at around 1AM, battery low notification popped up 😢 I continued using the phone till it got to 2% my power bank was plugged at the neighbor's room and it's already too late. If I should take the power bank, I will drain it the whole night, I had to use the 2% to call my neighbor that late to help me plug my phone.

Got back into the house, everywhere is dark, perhaps I'll find sleep. Covered myself, closed my eyes and I found no sleep. Tossed from one side of the bed to the other side, yet there's no sleep. From the bed, I took my pillow to the tiles yet no sleep.

That was how I stayed awake for the whole night but beautiful part is I used the sleeplessness to reflect on life, brainstorm on contents and make a few plans.

It would have been a quiet night but then the sound of my neighbor generator was not helping matters but I can't complain because it's charging my phone, laptop, and power bank 😂

Comparing the cost for designing the website to what another organization used in organizing such scholarship from registration, printing form, printing exam questions, providing writing materials, getting space for the exam, hiring/paying Invigilators, getting people to mark, compile to the award, it was evident that the website cost extremely less than using the old fashioned way.

The cost of organizing such exams will increase every year owning to the rising cost of living but the website would always be readily available for use each year as much as the domain & hosting is constantly renewed.

It is no news today that most of those causing the pressure are into illegal/fraudulent activities. Recently a girl who sells hair & do the pepper them stuff slaying online was caught at the airport with some kg of co***ne.

The second image attached to this post is of another person who claimed to have bought a car while in essence can't even afford it. Why cause yourself to be disgraced & dragged online just because you want to trend or be seen to be on board?

Why be a fake when you can actually be an original version? Take the right route, follow due process and in due time, you'll reap the results.

It's been a while I had the intention of sharing these insane & weird habit I have with those who care to know, well no long talks let's unveil them or you can skip reading & check the attached images.

5. MY BAD EATING HABIT
It's a fact that whenever I eat, my eyes are fixated on my phone or laptop watching a movie, comedy clip or random stuff. Public or private places, it's a must 🤦🏼 though I'm trying to work on stopping this by eating away from my phone & other gadgets so as not to move into my house & start eating in the sitting room facing the TV 🤣

4. BEST AT NOT CHARGING MY PHONE
If there's an award for people who do not charge phones, Henry Samson should be the recipient of the award back to back because there would be power supply, phone at 5% but Henry Samson will never plug his phone but rather choose use the phone till it's 1%. I don't think this would change now except I get a new phone I'll pamper for the first 24 hours 🤣

3. SLEEPING LATE IS A HOBBY
If there's electricity & good network condition, I may not sleep at all, the only moment you catch me sleeping is if I'm sick, no network where I am or I don't have data, I really don't know how people fall asleep in the afternoon 🌚

2. MY ADDICTION TO LOUD MUSIC
I belong to the party that plays music with headphones and when they see the warning "Extra volume may damage your ears and make you deaf" and still press OK 😭 I know it's a bad habit so I'm trying to learn how to listen to music at minimal volume to avoid stories that touch 🤣 "he use to hear but can no longer hear" God forbid but I know I have to start forbidding too loud music.

1. MY PHONE IS ALWAYS ON SILENT MODE
Those very close to me will attest to the fact that most times when they call I don't pick at once. The chance of picking at once when you call is if my phone is on my hand & in use when the call came in, otherwise I'd definitely miss your call & will have to call you back. Reason for this is that I find the phone sound especially notifications annoying.

Let me address a common error most sellers in the drop-shipping business does. Before I begin, drop-shipping in simple terms is the model of business where the seller get orders without having the products but as soon as s/he gets order, sends the order to the manufacture or retailer and gets the product for the customer.

Now, what most seller do is that in order to attract customers, they get images from manufacturers, wholesalers or retailers and post on social media pages.

Where most get it wrong is this, they share this images watermarked with logo of the wholesalers or retailers and most times these watermarks has the contact details, social media handles of the wholesalers or retailers.

If I was a potential client, seeing another logo, contact details other than that of the seller, my curiosity would be raised and I will try to check out and once I do, I may eventually find out what I want and won't return back to you the seller.

From now, when you want to post your product, check properly if it is void of the contact details, social media handles of the producer, wholesalers or retailers to avoid loosing that prospective buyer.

EXTRA POINT: While posting image of your product, make sure it is properly trimmed. Removed all irrelevant parts out of it, you can screenshot the image but take off the black (blank) spaces that comes along with screenshots.

A Non-Governmental Organisation was interested in helping the students in a region where they are situated wanted to be giving out scholarship every year meaning students would have to apply, be screened, write exams and successful candidates be picked for the scholarship.

Looking at the activities involved (logistics, physical screening, examination, marking etc) , they would be spending more than the actual money they would be giving out every year for the scholarship.

RANDOM THOUGHTS
There was a school that offered me 5k as an ND holder then before going back for my HND program and best thing I did was to decline because when you are late they deduct N100 and you must buy long sleeves that fits their dress code on top 5k

After my ND program, my uncle opened his school and I taught there but even though it's family I surely get what was a bit closer to what's due for me of course I have my bills to pay

TAKEAWAY
Things may be rough, difficult and crazy but it shouldn't make you accept what's way below your due. Have some self respect, pride, value & dignity

OBJECTIONS
Some people conscience will be screaming a bird in hand is worth two in the bush, take it & be looking for something else. Bro, don't try it. You'll become comfortable and accustomed to that pattern in no time soon.

In my blogging career, I've made mistakes pretty close to that. Then I'll just do it not putting into consideration that I'll buy data, pay for hosting fee, fix broken laptop, light bill and maybe buy fuel.

Thank God for my boss Nony Daniel who was on the watch out for me always asking questions when he notices I'm derailing giving his counsel & guidance. Some I listened to, others I didn't which I had my own share of regret but on a minimal otherwise the effect of my "just do it" attitude would have been heavier than what it is now.

Don't do it, don't take that job to just get by it otherwise you'll be stuck to it for life and the effect on you will be crazy that's if it doesn't force you out of business or push you into debt.
