With imagination, it is possible to understand one's interdependence with the Cosmos. By connecting together the information we learned in science classes, one can arrive at the understanding both Thich Nhat Hanh and Einstein shared, a unified vision of how each of us is (at the deepest level) a unique expression of the whole Universe.

First, imagine how the Universe began as energy and subatomic particles. These were drawn together by the forces of physics billions of years ago, to became atoms.

Those atoms then became clouds of gas that formed stars, galaxies, planets and star systems.

Our biological structure was then created by Nature's evolution on our planet, over billions of years.

But Nature is the Universe also, and everything that exists is made of ancient atoms that have been endlessly recycled by the Cosmos. This is the insight of inter-being, that Thich Nhat Hanh has shared.

The trees, mountains, clouds, rivers, birds -- everything you see and experience -- is the Universe taking temporary local form. Deep down, the Universe is our deeper identity, Deep Self.

And that is just the perspective of Science!

From a spiritual perspective, the whole Universe may actually be an expression of Consciousness or Source, the magical creation of an Unseen Cosmic Presence that underlies all reality.

Either way, our ego persona can be seen as a kind of temporary and limited social fiction. In truth, just as every wave is an expression of the whole ocean, we are each an expression of the whole Universe.

MESSAGE OF THE READING FOR THE DAY…

Today some of us may feel sad or emotionally low because of someone or something. While some may be comparing their life with others and may be thinking why they don’t have what they wish for and what they deserve. And during such low times we may tend to take actions that may not be good for us or we may end up regretting it later. But universe is kind and is always there to help us. Universe will warn us before hand and will send messages, guidance, intuitive messages telling us that there may be danger ahead or something is not right or good for us. So that we can take care of it. We have to be cautious and not share our ideas and secrets with anyone no matter what.

This is also time for many of us of being in between leaving the old and embracing the new. Like a cocoon we are shedding the shell and in the process of metamorphosis. So we just have to have patience and not rush into anything now but allow everything to emerge on its own.

The waiting period we have to use to make plans in details, take rest and gather our energies, resources, take care of our health and work on increasing our creativity and productivity so that when we are ready we can move forward with speed. And work with happiness and joy because anything done in the state of happiness attracts happy and amazing outcomes and rewards.

To do any Shadow Work you need to be able to look at yourself and your experiences, especially the ones you perceive to be negative both, those associatively and those objectively.

Doing this allows you to explore and understand the darker parts of your psyche and personal experiences while being able to remove the negative feelings you may normally associate with this part of yourself or experiences.

This will allow you to fully understand and accept yourself and come to terms with all of your past experiences.

After you've done this you'll be able to move on from your past and accept it for being the learning lessons that they were instead of being negative events that happened to you and will remove the negative emotions that you previously associated with them.
