This body of work aims at sensitizing the populace about the awareness of Asthma and how the society makes every asthmatic patient feel.
Its unarguably the truth that Asthma is a life threatening disease. However, the good news is that it can be controlled. The society has so placed a label on every Asthmatic patient out there, they picture them as a "victim" rather than a "survivor". Having a potential life-threatening disease can be so unbearable that anxiety and depression sets in. Researchs have it that majority of children with asthma have low self esteem which eventually have a huge stain in the life of the child when they eventually turn an Adult.
This artpiece is a voice to every Asthmatic person(s) out there that you're seen, you're not a victim, you're a survivor and that you deserve better. That depression and anxiety isnt for you because you still breathe.
