BURDENS

Burdens are one of the greatest gifts the holy Spirit gifts a man. Burdens keep you and drives you.
Burdens are fire in your bones, it focus your gaze.

Your burdens get stronger as you fellowship with the holy Spirit. JESUS said it is His yoke and that it light. Yes it is, however it has a magnetic pull That drags you deeper and pull you into the realm of answers. The Mountain of God, *oh how I love burdens.....*

It is only burdens inspired by the holyghost that can make a man cry *give me Scotland or I die!!!!*
It is burden that can make a woman forgo the pleasure of life like *mother Theresa* to take care of lepers....

It is burdens that will make a DSC in mathematics like *pastor E.A Adeboye* to leave the academic world just to live in a one room apartment in mushin for ministry work....

It is burdens that would make a man pray 3days stretch and still not be satisfied....
Burdens will make a man stay with God's word without eating for days....

It is burdens that makes a woman weep when she sees children suffering on the street as though the kids were hers.

*Moses* was been trained and schooled to be Pharaoh. He was a prince of the great Egypt but burdens *oooh burdens* shaped the lives of men....

Moses left the palace for the desert because of burdens.

Many in my Generation are burdenless....

Their concern and pursuit is their stomach, ambitions, ego, track records and pleasures of life.

Imagine Jesus....
Do you remember how his family were looking for him only to find him 3 days later in the same temple they left. Can you remember the response he gave them when they found him????

When he was teaching and his mother was looking for him. His response was alarming. His disciples at one time were worried. The great one hasn't eaten for days--- but his response was *my meat is to do the will of my father.*

Burdens are the language of destiny. It is the weapon through which our destiny is birthed. Destinies are not spoken by prophesy but it is spoken and birthed out by burdens.
A burdened man is a mad man and he doesn't make sense to the wisdom of man😂😂😂.

To men he is been referred to as a fool, an insane man and a failure at the beginning..... But something would be birthed out when you respond and yield yourself to those pains, concerns and prompting of the spirit.

Ladies can you marry a man like that???
If Jesus Should come your way in our time now, will you say God is a failure and a nobody....

Don't forget that his mother was a teenager, his father a carpenter, and his friends were unlearned fisherman and tax collector.....

Daniel was a man of *BURDENS.* His ambitions did not make him a great politician and prophet. He was a man ladened with *BURDENS* a man of little words, that ate so little...

*But for their burdens they were ready to die. Kia!!!!*
Daniel, Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego were not the only isreali but they were burdened men.

God doesn't speak *English, Swahili or Taiwan....* God's language is LIGHT and your spirit can understand LIGHT.

one of the interpretation of light in your heart are burdens. Our burdens ranks and classify us in the army of God.
Burdens kept a woman named Anna in the temple for 64years, praying and fasting everyday..

*Anna the prophetess, prayed and fasted daily for 64 years Kai!!!* No wonder she and Simeon christened Jesus As she laid her hands on him.
Anna carried Jesus in her spiritual womb for 64 years🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

John the Baptist was burdened so much that he left civilization to go and live in the desert eating honey and locust..... *His dressing self ehn....*

See, when you are burdened all those 21 keys to pastoring, 41 laws of bla bla bla would all be foolishness to you.

*Don't calm burdens down, we yield and respond to it because our generation depends on it.*
You can be anything you want to be if God permits it however, your burdens must be like burning furnace.

The devil uses men to show you how your mates are doing, traveling round the world and making it. Your face is not a threat to the devil, it is what your burden will birth that threaten him...

The devil knew this, that was why he tempted Jesus with all the things the world can give. Please Give full attention to your burdens..

The truth is, to the natural man and carnal man, burdens are heavy, they are signs of backwardness, tools of failure and regrets in terms of worldly definition...

*How will I leave school and start praying on a mountain for two years.* How can I explain to my parent that as a lady am 35 and am not married because the GREAT ONE *asked me to wait.*

Why will he say burdens are light when some of my mates are working with multinationals, and I'm crying for revival and ministering to locals who give *yam and vegetables as honourarium.*

Don't tell me burdens are light when am hooked up in teaching and discipling children when I have a first class degree lying under my bag with nobody to thank me or applaud me.

Why would you say burdens are light and easy when my mate define success in ministry as Having large crowds, with cars packed every where and the man of God is looking fresh and shown everywhere on TV....

*But the great one says,* as for you teenagers are your BURDENS. Some , you will have to feed, some you will send to school. Your partner is already threatening to leave you because you are not looking like the *world definition* of success in ministry.

The GREAT ONE says in *Matthew 11:30*
*FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.*
And he is not a man that should lie.

Men would come and say all manner of things and ask you to calm down, they would say you're too zealous when you go on a *1year fast.*

They would criticise you but don't forget Jesus' parent told him to calm down too. *Don't forget Anna fasted for 64years, you're only doing 1year.*

When you're burdened, PRAY that God give you men that have gone ahead of you so that you can be well guided and mentored....

I hope someone is ENCOURAGED!!!!.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE INTENTIONAL? HOW CAN I BE INTENTIONAL? HOW CAN I MAKE PROGRESS IN PRAYER?

Wow! These are very serious questions. A large percentage of young adults have had one or all of the above questions unanswered in their walk with God at one point or the other.

How do I know this? From experience of course! I am also a young adult!

If it keeps me from wasting time and labouring in vain; and it ensures that I make progress, then I definitely want to be intentional!

I can remember Evang Lawrence Oyor's testimony of how he began his journey of progress in seeking God.

His famous words on this matter are restated below. He said:

*"What makes every God interaction powerful is the fact that YOU are INTENTIONAL. If Jesus is here with you, then talk to Him and engage Him LIKE HE IS HERE. If He does not become more real to you, and you are not more conscious of Him as you pray, you have not made progress!"*

'So how can I be intentional?' You definitely want to ask.

Well, its simple. First and foremost, *prayer must be done with the intent to interact with the person and presence of Jesus rather than to carry out a religious activity.*

Next, *it must register as a consciousness that Jesus is with you all the time, and certainly more so when you pray.*

And third, *you must become serious with every God interaction by placing value on the moments spent WITH JESUS in prayers.*

To understand the word intentional, you must first of all understand the adjective "INTENT", a kindred word to intentional; which simply means "TO DEVOTE COMPLETE ATTENTION TO SOMETHING."

◇ To be intentional' therefore is to PURPOSEFULLY/CONSCIOUSLY CARRY OUT ACTIONS THAT WOULD PRODUCE AN ANTICIPATED OUTCOME!

Being intentional with GOD must therefore involve four important components.

(1) *THE PURPOSE* - To ENCOUNTER Him!

(2) *THE WILL* - That DRIVES you to seek Him by PRAYING!

(3) *YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS* - The overriding KNOWLEDGE of His PRESENCE and REALITY!

(4) *YOUR ATTENTION* - Keeping your mind SERIOUS, FOCUSED and ATTENTIVE on HIM AS YOU PRAY!

◇ Being intentional therefore would be to PRAY EXTREMELY CONSCIOUS AND AWARE of His PRESENCE!

This is described in *Hebrews 11:6b - They that come to God must believe that HE IS (real and present), and that He rewards DILIGENT (attentive and intentional) seekers.*

◇ It also means the total deployment of ATTENTION in prayer such that your mind is completely immersed in the PERSON OF JESUS to the EXCLUSION of all other persons or activities at that time.

*ATTENTION therefore is the keyword in being intentional. It is simply CONCENTRATING your mind on Jesus alone as you pray.*

To do this successfully, you must be conscious of the fact that you don't just pray to Jesus. You actually pray WITH HIM! And this is where MEDITATION comes in handy.*

◇ To be intentional is to meditate on Jesus, on the scriptures or on the desired outcomes of the prayers as you pray.

◇ Being intentional is FOCUS; It is COMPLETE ATTENTION; It is CONCENTRATION; It is INTENSE MENTAL DISCIPLINE, all on JESUS as you PRAY!

The fact that man exists amidst several layers of interaction almost at the same time has never been more true.

He relates with his physical environment; he is involved in a continuing mental process and also relates with the meta-physical/spiritual environment.

*The cacophony and projections from these media of interaction makes it almost impossible for him to be focused on prayer. And so, he is easily DISTRACTED.*

The word DISTRACTION is also key, as it is the exact opposite of attention. *In fact, it is best described as an OBSTACLE to ATTENTION.*

*In this case, DISTRACTION is anything that DRAWS AWAY your attention from Jesus to any other thing as you pray.*

Distractions diffuses attention and weakens the prayer! Anything can be a distraction, even religious activities can be distractions.

*Which means, the ACTIVITY OF PRAYER (speaking in tongues) if not done intentionally can become a distraction from the REALITY OF PRAYER (Jesus)*

Therefore if you will make progress in your God interactions. *You must devote all your attention to the PERSON of Jesus, NOT AS AN IMAGINARY PRESENCE, BUT AS A REAL PERSON PRESENT.*

*THIS IS BECAUSE, PRAYER IS NOT AN END. IT IS THE MEANS TO AN END!AS POWERFUL AS IT IS, PRAYER IS NOT THE ENCOUNTER, JESUS IS THE ENCOUNTER!*

So, as you pray, give ATTENTION TO JESUS ALONE! If you pray like this all the time, you will make progress ALL THE TIME! Your encounter is already waiting for you.

How do I know this? JEREMIAH 29:13 reveals the secret!

THE KING JAMES VERSION
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me WITH ALL YOUR HEART!

THE MESSAGE VERSION
When you come looking for me, you will find me. Yes, WHEN YOU GET SERIOUS ABOUT FINDING ME, and WANT IT MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!

THE AMPLIFIED VERSION
Then you will seek me, inquire for, and require me [as a VITAL NECESSITY] and find me WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART!

THIS IS HOW TO BE INTENTIONAL; IT IS SEEKING GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH UNBROKEN AND UNDISTRACTED ATTENTION!

When they camped at the cave called Adullam, they returned as mighty men. Men of war, men of valour, men who could take on cities and prevailed.men with a devouring spirit.. MIGHTY generals. Its all about the fulfilment of prophecy for the rise of mighty men from this part of our nation..We gather to navigate the realms beyond and activate certain possibilities and make them realities. There is a mandate over our generation and men must rise..We will stay in the cave and he will release us as mighty men..It is that time of the year when the spirit of God beckons for an encampment in the cave called Adullam.. Men who by virtue of alignment has gained stature to confront firece darkness. Men whose light will dominate all forms of darkness not minding how far this darkness has entered men. It's the day we await, we await and gain alignment. We are certain of this light, we strengthen and gird our loins. Darkness will not invade our land. We secure the future of generation to come. Make a commitment brother to know God. Because the days coming only those who know God can stand. If you need a man to be ur succour, telling you all about God, YOU ARE FAR

We wait in Meditation
We wait by bearing burdens
We wait hearing and bearing the ordinance of heaven.
