The Commisioner for Education Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu played host to some young stars from Gamble Alert who seeks to partner with the ministry on sensitising and discouraging learners from involvement in gambling.

*Screening Test Application into Ogun State Flagship Schools for 2024/2025 Academic Session*

*Procedure:*
👉 Visit https://ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng and login with your LIN credentials or parent account. (For parent willing to register Applicants or Learners from outside Ogun State, click on "Create Account button" to register a profile for login).
👉 Click on Navigation botton
👉 Click on Enrollment Management
👉 Screening Test
👉 Screening Application
👉 Click on Create Application from action menu
👉 Enter your LIN to validate learners record or select the option "From outside Ogun State" to create a profile
_Note: Applicants from outside Ogun State are required to submit a copy of their last promotion examination result into Primary 6 before admission consideration._
👉 Click on Make Payment to make online payment for the platform and Registration fees at a cost of #5,500 per Learner.
👉 Fill and Submit the Application Form and then take a printed copy to School of first choice for Principal's signature.

_Note:_
1. Screening Test will come up on Saturday, 3rd August 2024 at the premise of your School of First Choice.
2. Outside the State Applicant will not be able to print their Application Form, after submission, until LIN verification is conducted on such Application.

2024 PRESIDENT’S TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS’ EXCELLENCE AWARD (PTSEA)/ OGUN STATE TEACHERS and SCHOOLS’ EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology wishes to announce to the concerned Education Stakeholders that time is apt for the “Conduct of 2024 Ogun State Teachers and Schools' Excellence Awards ”.
It is a yearly exercise of the Federal Ministry of Education which has been adopted by the State Ministry to Mark the “World Teachers Day” on every 5th of October. The Teachers' and Schools' Excellence Award are in the 5 categories below:
i. Best Teacher (Public Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools)

ii. Best School (Public Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools)

iii.Best Administrator (Public Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools)

iv. Best Teacher (Private Primary and Secondary Schools)

v. Best School (Private Primary and Secondary Schools)

Interested Schools, Teachers and Headteachers/Principals of Public and Approved Private Schools are to access and apply through their respective login details https://ogsera.ogunstate.gov.ng/login

The registration will be made accessible to all interested Applicants from Monday 29th April, to Friday 28th June, 2024.

Ogun State Commissioner for Education Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who also doubled as the Chairman of the event and other eminent personalities during the public presentation of a book, titled, ‘Ascendancy of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Nigeria’, in honour of late Prof. Musa Abdul, at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode.
