My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ the righteous. IJohn2:1```

John the beloved was speaking to believers about the issue of sin. To an unbeliever sin is a necessity because its their nature but to a believer sin is a possibility but not a necessity because Jesus already handled it at redemption. So when it comes to a believer sin is optional. John said that ye sin not which means it is possible to sin as a believer under your choice hence you are still carrying the human flesh in you, he further said if any man sin we have an advocate with the father Jesus Christ the righteous

An *Advocate* is one who stand unbehalf of another in support to defend the person, also from the Greek word _"Parakletos"_ meaning to plead another person cause before a judge, to defend, to standby, to intercede, to help or assist and that is who Jesus is.

Verse 2 said ' _he is the propitiation for our sins and not for our sins only but for the sin of the whole world"._ Jesus pacifies the anger of God towards mankind, so when you sin or erred from the path, then come boldly to the throne of Grace to obtain mercy where God no longer see your shortcomings but the man of perfection in Christ Jesus and also the attorney blood that relieved God's wrath on us hallelleluja.

*Pray* Father thank you for your grace and mercy shown to me, and I receive the forgiveness of sins in Jesus name. Amen.
