Though termites do feed on cellulose within wood, the termites themselves do not actually digest the wood. Instead, there are microorganisms living inside the termite's digestive system called protozoa. These protozoa actually break down the wood inside the termite, producing by-products that both organisms can digest.
Question: which type of ecological association is this? ๐ค

He wasn't so privileged... And so weren't many.
He faced quite a lot of racial discrimination...so did many.
He believed he was mentally dumb...so did many.
He grew up in a broken home...and so did many..!
He had all the reasons to justify being a failure, just like many...however, unlike most people, he refused to allow his circumstances and outside noises stop him from being great. And so can you! ๐คทโโ๏ธ
One lesson we can learn from Dr. Carson's life? - Your circumstances will define you ONLY if YOU believe they can.

In addition to its tremendous health benefits, studies suggest that cardiovascular exercise can create new brain cells and improve overall brain performance. The hippocampus โ the part of the brain associated with memory and learning โ has been found to increase in volume in the brains of regular exercisers. Other mental benefits include: Improved working memory and focus.
Studies reveal that - a 2% decrease in brain hydration can result in short term memory loss and trouble with math computations. Prolonged dehydration causes brain cells to shrink in size and mass, a condition common in many elderly who have been dehydrated for years. Lack of mental clarity, sometimes referred to as โbrain fog.โ
Good hydration is beneficial for your brain. Waterย helps your brain cells communicate with each other, clears out toxins and waste that impairs brain function, and carries nutrients to your brain. This all falls apart if your fluid levels drop. Staying hydrated has been linked to: Faster decision making and improved performance on cognitive tests.
Important: avoid excessive intake of water as it can lead to "hyponatremia", a life threatening condition where your kidneys can't get rid of the excess water. The sodium content of your blood becomes diluted. This can be life threatening.
Scientists suggest that about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day is healthy for men and 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) for women.

Chaperonins are a class of molecular chaperone composed of oligomeric double-ring protein assemblies that provide essential kinetic assistance to protein folding by binding non-native proteins and allowing them to fold in the central cavities of their rings.
Chaperonins are found in all domains of life, in archaea, eubacteria, and eukaryotes, forming a group of evolutionary conserved proteins consisting of subunits of ~55-kDa molecular weight.
Question: What determines protein conformation?
