The Executive Chairman, Oorelope Local Government, Hon Raheem Akeem Adepoju has felicitated with the Her Excellency, Engr Olufunke Tamunominini Makinde, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo State on the occasion of her 49th birthday today.
In the Congratulatory Message he personally signed and made available to the press, Raheem described the First Lady as a perfect mother, a woman with God fearing heart and a pillar of support in the present Administration

The biography of Abdul Akeem Adepoju Abdul Raheem, A.K.A (ARA) which actually delineats his personality right from beginning.
Abdul Akeem Adepoju Raheem is a bonified indigine of Igboho, Oorelope local government Oyo state.
He was born in October second year (1982) into the family of Egbe omo, Isale bonni in Igboho.
He is the second born to his late father, Pa. Raheem Adeteju who demised last year April (2020) may rests peacefully (Amen) and mother Alh. Suliyat Raheem Adeteju who is presently at peace.
Abdul Akeem hails from Ansarudeen primary school bonni where he spent six academic years between (1987&1993) and during that era he was the ass.senior prefect for (1993) set, he later proceeds to Ifelodun grammar school between (1994&1999)where he obtained secondary school certificate and he was the punctuality prefect for (1999) set. He started plying his education at Kwara state polytechnic where he attained both ordinary national diploma and higher national diploma in public administration where he was elected as the chairman of public administration students at O.N.D level and finally elected as the president of same department at H.N.D level in between (2001 & 2009).
He is happily engaged with Fatima kikeloma and they are blessed with 4 fruits of marriage (Children).
He started his reigns in politics around year (1998) but actually comes into limelight in year (2015) when he was the coordinator for Oorelope social democratic party(S.D.P) the party that was first used in year (2015)when Gov. Seyi Makinde declared his ambition for governatorial post before their emergence defect to peoples democratic party (PDP) he is still on his stand as he was appointed as the financial secretary to the party Oorelope and now he is the current chairman Oorelope local government, Igboho, Oyo state. And I pray may you attain more feats with all round succesful succession, Amen.

The Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral commission (OYSIEC), Aare Isiaka Olagunju (SAN) stated that it would be unfair to extend the May 22nd local government election already scheduled because the newly repentant All Progressive Congress (APC).
Aare Olagunju explained that since the inauguration of the commission on September 3, 2019, it has embarked on visitations and consultations to political parties, religious centres and other relevant stakeholders across the state.
Aare Olagunju further stated that the essence of his many visits is to reassure political parties of his impartiality and commitment to free, fair and credible local government poll.
The OYSIEC Boss expressed surprise to calls by former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala and other apc leaders in the state to extend the polling in for them to participate.
“I was at APC secretariat to visit Baba Oke and other state exco to assure them of our sincerity. We beg and appeal to them to participate in the election because we know the likely outcome of the court judgement.
Aare Olagunju said there is no way the commission could extend the election date owing to many preparations done in the last few months hence the election will go on.
