Singer Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red, has undergone a knee surgery at Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.

B-Red, who is the son of the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, shared photos from the surgery on his Instagram page on Thursday.

He captioned the photos, "Thank GOD for a successful surgery on my left knee. Gratitude always. Now I can walk again, glory be to God."

A shocking video shows the moment a neighbour killed a father and his stepson in cold blood in a Brooklyn apartment hallway during an argument over noise on Sunday night, October 29.

The distressing footage starts with a man dressed in all black pacing angrily outside his neighbours’ apartment on the fourth floor of 1418 Brooklyn Avenue in a well-known East Flatbush housing complex.

A woman emerges from the apartment and exchanges words with the neighbour, who was identified by police Tuesday as Jason Pass, 47.

A short time later, the woman is joined by her son, identified by police as 27-year-old Chinwai Mode.

The video has no audio, so it is unknown what was said during the exchange.

Moments later, Mode’s stepfather, 47-year-old school bus driver Bladimy Mathurin, marches out of the apartment brandishing a pair of scissors and angrily confronts the neighbour, the video shows.

His wife tries to drag him away, but the dad of four, who was also a body builder pushed her back..

At that moment, the verbal dispute takes a harrowing turn when the neighbour in black pulls out a handgun and aims it at Mathurin.

Mathurin spots the gun but refuses to run. He turns around and begins walking toward his apartment, at which point the neighbour opens fire and shoots Mathurin, who falls to the floor.

Mode, who was also in the hallway, tries to get away from the gunman, but the neighbour fires multiple shots at him, including at least twice after he had collapsed in a pool of his own blood next to a staircase while the woman quickly ran to her apartment.

The suspect then returns to Mathurin, who is still alive and struggling to get up, and shoots him execution-style on his own doorstep.

Having killed the two men, the gunman observes the scene before stepping into an elevator, which he takes down to the street and flees.

A group identified as the Rivers in Diaspora had reportedly raised alarm over what it described as “the sinister plan by some unscrupulous elements to cause disaffection between the incumbent Governor and his mentor.”

The acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Olukayode Egbetokun, has directed medical personnel across Nigeria to treat g¥nshôt victims without asking for Police reports.

Egbetokun issued the directive while urging health workers to sensitize Nigerians about the issue.

The IGP’s directive, based on the Compulsory Treatment and Care for Victims of Gunshot Act, 2017, was contained in a Police internal memo dated October 25, 2023, and signed by the Force Principal Staff Officer, Olatunji Disu.

The memo was addressed to all Deputy Inspectors-General of Police, Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police and the Commandants of Police Colleges in Ikeja, Kaduna, Oji-River, Maiduguri and Enugu.

The memo reads, “I forward herewith a copy of letter HMSH&SW/IG/CTCV/ 10/2023 dated 3rd October 2023, received from Federal Ministry of Health & Social Welfare on the above-underlined subject, and write to convey the directive of the Inspector-General of Police that you comply with and enforce the provisions of the Compulsory Treatment and Care for Victims of G¥nshôt Act 2017 without any hesitation.

The Inspector-General of Police further directs that you make this a subject of lecture and circulate widely for the members of the public to be aware of our compliance with the National Law.”

Bishop David Oyedepo’s son Isaac resigns from Living Faith Church

Isaac Oyedepo, second son of popular cleric and founder of Living Faith Church popularly known as Winner's chapel, has resigned from his position in the church.

Isaac was appointed the national youth pastor of the Youth Alive Fellowship - the youth arm of the Living Faith Church - in September after taking over from his predecessor, David Nwabueze, who was transferred to Living Faith Church in Nasarawa state.

This was revealed exclusively by Church Gist on X on Wednesday, October 25, adding that he is about to begin a new work.

According to multiple sources, Justina was declared missing three days ago after she celebrated her birthday on the 10th of October, 2023. It is reported that Collins had invited her to his apartment at road 15, NTA road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he committed the evil and gr¥esome act.

Meanwhile, friends and family of the deceased are currently mourning Justina’s demise while urging the authorities to ensure that Collins faces the full wrath of the law.

Ajisegiri Ayobami who was the disc jockey to the late singer, Mohbad has told the coroner's inquest in Ikorodu that the deceased colll@psed and started vomiting after a nurse administered an injection to him.

The inquest is looking into circumstances that led to the September 12 d£ath of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba better known as Mohbad.

According to Ayobami, Mohbad had gotten into a f with his friend Primeboy and sustained an inj¥ry the previous day, which was a Sunday.

He told the coroner court that the wo¥nd was a small cut on his hand but that by the time they got home at midnight, the hand was already swollen.

He said a team member called Spending referred the nurse who administered the injection after efforts to reach Mohbad’s personal nurse was not successful.

The witness said he went to get a mop to clean water on the floor of Mohbad’s room when his wife called him to come back.

“The nurse said we should go and get him dr¥gs; while we were at the pharmacy, I called the house to know how he was feeling, and they said I should come back.

When I got back, they were already outside trying to put him in a neighbour’s car to get him to the hospital, but the way I saw him, he was lifeless, his eyes were closed, and his hands were falling.

While we were going to the hospital, there was traffic, so I came down from the other vehicle and ran to the hospital; I asked them if they had an ambulance, and they said no. Before I could get back to them, I saw them bringing Mohbad on a bike, and when we got to the hospital he was confirmed d£ad,” he said.

Weeks after being declared wanted, notorious Kano crim+nal reportedly joins Nigeria Police Force

An alleged notorious crim+nal, Nasiru Abdullahi aka Chile Maidoki, has reportedly joined the Nigeria Police Force as a police constabulary.

This comes barely three months after he was declared wanted by the Kano Police Command with a bounty of N100k placed on his head.

In trending pictures, Abdullahi was seen with a senior police officer at one of the Police Colleges and Training Schools.

According to SaharaReporters, he is among the 10,000 police constabularies undergoing six-month long training exercise to enhance community policing across the country.

Abdullahi was among the three notorious crim+nals declared wanted by the Kano command in August 2023.

However, he turned himself in at the Bompai headquarters of the command on Saturday, August 5, 2023, and was received by the Kano state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mohammed Usaini Gumel.

The command’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, in a statement had said: “One of the three notorious wanted crim+nals named Nasiru Abdullahi, popularly known as Chile Maidoki of Layin Falwaya Kurna Makabarta Quarters Kano has surrendered himself to the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, upon hearing the declaration of N100,000:00 bounty for his arrest.

This brings a total of 100 documented and profiled Repentant Crim+nals being that so far surrendered themselves to the police command.

During the hide and seek regime the said repentant terror Chile Maidoki said to the police that he used to sleep at burial ground yard in Kano City just to evade detection by security personnel.

PHOTOS: Protest In Rivers As Robbers Kill Four Uber Drivers

The Amalgamated Union of App-based Transporters of Nigeria has called on security operatives to intensify the protection of its members.

The union made this known on Thursday while protesting the killings of its members in some parts of the country.

The protest which took place in Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, saw the e-hailing drivers suspend their operations while they displayed placards with inscriptions indicating their grievances.

The National President of the union, Adedamola Adeniran, who spoke to our correspondent said three Uber and Bolt drivers were killed in Port-Harcourt on Wednesday.

He also described the incident as a coordinated attack while identifying the victims as Emmanual Daniel, Roland Asuru, and John Okon.

The union spokesman, Jossy Adaraniwon, also disclosed that there was a report of brutal killing and car snatching on another driver in Abuja, Kelvin Oga, on Wednesday at the Galadimawa area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Police operatives have apprehended two students of Kwara Polytechnic identified as Joy Adanma and Vandora Favour, over the death of Adeniyi Ojo, a nightclub owner.

The suspects confessed to committing the crime in Kwara during their parade by the police in Abuja on Wednesday.

They said their intention was to rob the deceased while performing B**M s*x.

B**M stands for bo***ge and discipline, dominance and submission, sa**sm and masochism.

It is a term used to describe s*x that is dominant, rough and wild, with one partner playing the submissive role.

The ladies said they had agreed to have car s*x with the deceased because they needed money, adding that when they met with him, he took them to a room instead of the car they had agreed to because it was raining.

‘WE USED A PILLOW TO MUFFLE HIS VOICE’

“The idea was that if he agrees to do B**M with us; B**M is the kind of s*x where you tie the person’s hands and legs. So, while his hands and legs are tied, we can take cash or whatever valuable we can find and leave with it,” the suspects said.

“It now turned out that it started raining. So, instead of us going to the car, he now told us to go across to a building that was across the garden when we went to meet him.

“When we got to the room, we were on the bed with him. My friend tied his hands and legs.

“Based on the fact that we were in a room and not in a car, because normally, we thought that if you want to have car s*x with somebody, it cannot be in a public place that people can easily see or hear.

“But because it was in a room, we were already thinking about what we were going to do in case he starts shouting.”

The suspects further said they had Rohypnol in their bags which they attempted to put in the club owner’s mouth to put him to sleep but he turned his face away.

The suspects said the club owner did not have any cash or valuables with him in the room, so they decided to try to unlock his phone and transfer money from his account.

“The man did not have cash or any valuable with him that day and we did not go to his car. So, there was nothing else we could do except if we are able to get money from his account,” they said.

“So, when my friend put the phone in front of his face, that was when he now freaked out and started shouting. I don’t know how he managed to loosen the rope that was used to tie his hands.

“He then started to hit my friend and he started shouting. She took a pillow and placed it over his face to muffle his scream.

“Suddenly, he just went calm. I got down from the bed and I told my friend that I think this man is pretending to be asleep so that when we let our guard down, he will stand up and try to hurt us.

“So, my friend went to the door, and she turned the key of the door pretending as if we were leaving and she said she saw him open one of his eyes.

“We then went to him and were begging him to wake up that we want to go, we will not do anything to him because we felt he was pretending, but he didn’t answer.

“We did not discover he was dead until when the police apprehended us.

“We already went home. It was while I was at home that the police came to apprehend us. I even thought that it was because we left with the man’s phone that was why they came to apprehend us.

“And we gave them the phone and the sim card only to find out later that the time we thought he was pretending, he was already dead.”
