SCRIPTURE: 📖Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt. Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
Genesis 41:33-34.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: 🤔Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

While Joseph was in Prison, he was interpreting other people’s dreams. Then, Pharaoh, the king of Egypt had a troubling dream. The chief butler, whose dream he once interpreted, told Pharaoh about Joseph, and Pharaoh sent for him.
Joseph came before Pharaoh, and Pharaoh asked him a question, “I have dreamt a dream, can you interpret it for me?”
Joseph told him that he could interpret his dream.
Thus, Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream and also gave the solution to the dream.
Now, if Joseph had stopped at interpreting the dream, Pharaoh would have probably appreciated him and said, “Thank you, Joseph. Please take this gift and go back to the prison”
But Joseph did not only interpret the dream; he gave the solution to the dream. Thus by his gift, he gave interpretation, but by his mind, he gave the solution. His gift brought him out of prison, but the gift could not keep him out of prison.
After interpreting Pharaoh’s dream, he went the extra mile and told Pharoah, “Pharaoh, I want you to appoint a wise man and set him over the land of Egypt to gather food in the first seven years of abundance against the seven years of famine.” (Genesis 41:33-37, paraphrased).
Joseph was describing himself to Pharoah.
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Why are you prescribing another person to me? You are the person.” That was how Joseph was appointed by Pharoah to do the job.

The truth is, your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

You need a correct mentality to be ushered into your correct destiny.

If you must fulfil your destiny, you must use your mind positively, productively and creatively.

REMEMBER THIS:🤔 Your gift may make you see some measure of result, but it takes your mind to arrive at your future.

1. By all means, refuse to live with a blank mind.

TOPIC: EVIL MONEY – PROCEEDS OF INIQUITY

SCRIPTURE: Do not pr******te thy daughter, to cause her to be a w***e; lest the land fall to w***edom, and the land become full of wickedness. Leviticus 19:29

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you make money as proceeds of iniquity or iniquitous products, it is evil money in the sight of God.

The Scripture makes it clear that the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). This means that the love of money is connected to the perpetration of evil.
One major example of evil money is the proceeds of iniquity or iniquitous products.
When you make money as proceeds of iniquity or iniquitous products, it is evil money in the sight of God. For instance, when someone makes money out of prostitution, that money is called evil money.
Leviticus 19:29 says:
Do not pr******te thy daughter, to cause her to be a w***e; lest the land fall to w***edom, and the land become full of wickedness
Prostitution simply means making a living out of immoral affairs – whether it involves sleeping with one man who is responsible for all the needs of the pr******te or with different men in a brothel or night clubs.
Prostitution does not only refer to a situation where a young lady or woman decides to hire a room in a brothel where wayward men could come to have immoral affairs with her; it also involves a situation where a lady lives outside the four walls of a brothel in a normal residence but a man to whom she is not married comes to have intimacy with her in exchange for paying her bills or sustaining her financially. The man in question is responsible for the lady’s house rent, living expenses, and other relevant bills. This is what I call retail prostitution.
The wholesale prostitution is when a room is hired in a brothel and different men go there to patronize the pr******te. Wholesale prostitution involves a lady sleeping with different men on a commercial basis. The baseline is that the person does that to survive. That is to say if she does not sleep with men, she cannot survive. She sells her body to get money.
Beloved, any money that someone gets out of this kind of practice is evil money; it is unrighteous money.

REMEMBER THIS: When you make money as proceeds of iniquity or iniquitous products, it is evil money in the sight of God.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to sell your body for the purpose of money because your body is the temple of the Living God.
2. Flee all forms of immorality.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive Your grace to resist the temptation of fornication, adultery and other forms of immorality. Help me not to trade my body in exchange for money, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: YOUR BEHAVIOUR AND YOUR BECOMING

SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 23:7 says:
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The way you behave affects what you become.

One day, a man came to see me and he said that someone wanted to assist him move over to the US.

Then I asked him, “In five years’ time, would you like it if that man stands anywhere and says, ‘I am the one that took you to America?’” He said no.

You see, there are some people, if they say, “I was the one who assisted you,” you may like it.
But if a ‘braggadocious’, ostentatious, ‘peakockish’ person, with character bankruptcy asks you to bring your passport, that he wants to assist you move to America, would you be able to cope with the way he would brag about how he helped you?

The young man said, “No”, then I said to him, “Alright think twice. Let God open the door for you! Let God do it for you.”

He then decided to allow God do it for him. Today, by divine connection, this young man has been to America, Canada, the UK, and other parts of the world many times.

Sometime ago, he told me, “Thank you so much for the counsel you gave to me. The question you asked me opened my eyes.”

So, the point is, let your actions be such that you are conscious of who you are.

You see, someone once told me to go and pick a car from Asokoro, a high profile district in Abuja, Nigeria. He said he had a car for me there. But I rejected it.

There may be a category of people you would say such a thing to, and they would run without hesitation to go pick up the car. But if someone carries the crown of priesthood on his head, respect that oil, especially if you think he is your pastor.

The point is, the way you behave affects what you become. If you cheapen your life; you are cheap in life. How much you offer yourself is how much people will buy you.

REMEMBER THIS: The way you behave affects what you become.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind not to be inferior to anyone.
2. Be noble and royal in your conduct.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to behave as a person of nobility, royalty and authority. I cast every mentality of mediocrity out of my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: 📌THE PRICE FOR THE TOP

SCRIPTURE: 📖Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, PHILIPPIANS 3:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: 🤔It is one thing to desire to go up and it is another thing to be willing to pay the price.

Many years ago, when I was in the university as a student of medicine, I told the Lord, “I want to see Your Power. I want to experience You to the highest level a human being can experience You and still live in the flesh.”
I prayed this prayer because I knew that there was a point you could go with God and disappear like Enoch. I want to experience God in the highest way and still live in the flesh to fulfil my earthly assignment.

I asked God to show me what it takes to get there. Beloved, it is one thing to desire to go up and it is another thing to be willing to pay the price to rise to the top.
I told God, “Even if I have to come to the point of putting on only singlet, and I have nothing else, I am ready to pay the price to experience the best of You Lord.”

Beloved, you must understand that no one stands out in life by chance; no one becomes outstanding or excellent by mistake. Every form of greatness comes with a price to pay.

If you see someone standing out in life, they are not standing out by chance. If you see anyone standing out in life, that person made the decision and went ahead to pay the price to stand out.

God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, once said that when he stepped into Fulltime Ministry, he vowed that he would live out the meaning of word, “fulltime” in Ministry.
He said, “Fulltime means full length; no one doing part-time Ministry would see my brake light.”
He also said, “Anywhere preachers reach in this world, I will reach.”

You see, this is the kind of decision that takes people to the top. It is not sitting down and thinking that what will be will be.

REMEMBER THIS:🤔 It is one thing to desire to go up and it is another thing to be willing to pay the price.

TOPIC:📌 GRATITUDE – A KEY TO BEGINNING A NEW MONTH

SCRIPTURE:📖 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:🤔 Many people who experience open doors and opportunities in life know how to say, “Thank you” to both God and man.

You are welcome to this new month, the month of February 2024. We thank God for His help in the month of January, 2024.

In this new month, it is very important to understand one key that opens doors. It is called the key of gratitude.

The attitude of gratitude is a door opener. The attitude of gratitude, gratefulness, thankfulness or appreciation ushers a person into a new season of life.

Many people who experience open doors and opportunities in life know how to say, “Thank you” both to God and man. The attitude of gratitude is one of the hallmarks of Godly character.

Sometime ago, I gave a gift of cash to someone and he came to my office and said, “I just want to say, thank you sir” and when I saw how appreciative he was, I gave her more. This is the character of God. Only one out of the ten healed l***rs came back to appreciate God, and Jesus perfected his healing (Luke 17:17-19).
You see, if you want God to perfect what He has started or done in your life, always appreciate Him.

However, this attitude of gratitude is rapidly disappearing from our generation. This attitude is becoming a scarce commodity.

Today, you will see a young child collect school fees or pocket money from his father or mother and just walk away without appreciating them.

While we were growing up, we were taught that after you are done eating, you should say, “Thank you” to mummy and daddy. But today, children see it as a matter of right to eat in their father’s house.
They say, “It is my right for my father to pay my school fees.”

Now, as a child, if you consider that as a right, go to the slums and streets and see the number of children without parents to pay their school fees. Maybe this will make you realise what it means to say, “Thank you.”

Beloved, if you must experience the best of God in this new month, you must develop the attitude of gratitude.

DATE: MONDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2024

TOPIC: AVOINDING FINANCIAL CROOKEDNESS

SCRIPTURE: There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. JOB 1:1.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God looks at your financial records of uprightness before committing tangible wealth of the Kingdom to you.

It has been established that God does not withhold good things from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11). This means, uprightness is key to accessing divine blessings. In the same way, crookedness hinders a person from accessing divine blessings.

Now, one area of uprightness which is key to accessing divine packages for the Year 2024 is financial uprightness. God looks at your financial records of uprightness before committing tangible wealth of the Kingdom to you.

Concerning Job, the Bible says:
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job 1:1.

Many of us need to change the way we do business with people so God can entrust us with massive resources.

Sometime ago, we went for a crusade in a place, and in that place, we saw people selling wristbands with our picture on them.

L And you know, we don’t function like that. One wonders whoever authorized them to do those kind of things?

If some people are given the privilege by God to be stewards of a place like the Glory Dome, they would have sold the entire Church. Everyone would be under a mandate to pay certain amount before they can be prayed for.

My counsel to you is, make up your mind today that this year, your financial dealings shall be straight. Every transaction you would have with people shall be straight; every business you shall do would be straight; and you would see how God would overwhelm you with financial blessing.

REMEMBER THIS: God looks at your financial records of uprightness before committing tangible wealth of the Kingdom to you.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to straighten every financial dealing you would have with people.
2. Refuse to fall into the temptation of financial crookedness.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You straighten my financial records. Help me to remain financially upright, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DATE: TUESDAY, JANUARY 23, 2024

TOPIC: THE TRAGEDY OF UNGODLY PROSPERITY

SCRIPTURE: Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a l***r as white as snow. 2 KINGS 5:26-27.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Ungodly prosperity invites spiritual and physical leprosy.

Naaman was a Syrian Army Captain. He was also a l***r who came to Prophet Elisha to be cleansed of his leprosy. When he was healed by the prophetic anointing of Elisha, he offered Prophet Elisha some money but the prophet refused the offer. As a matter of fact, a genuine prophet would not collect money in exchange for a miracle.
However, Gehazi, the servant of Prophet Elisha, decided to run after Naaman and collected the money that his master, Elisha, had rejected.

It is important to know that there are people whose purpose in Ministry is to deal with people and extort money from them. Gehazi was one of them. This category of people are not genuine servants of God, but servants of money.
Gehazi ran after Naaman and collected the gifts, and when he returned, Elijah told him,
Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants? The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a l***r as white as snow.

2 Kings 5:26-27.
What a heart-rending tragedy!
Beloved, to look for Naaman’s prosperity is to inherit Naaman’s leprosy. This means that ungodly prosperity invites spiritual and physical leprosy. You cannot have Naaman’s prosperity and not have his leprosy. You cannot embrace Naaman’s prosperity and escape his leprosy.
Gehazi went after Naaman’s prosperity and later inherited Naaman’s leprosy. That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Ungodly prosperity invites spiritual and physical leprosy.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Take your eyes off ungodly prosperity.
2. Ask God to prosper you legitimately.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the temptation of ungodly prosperity in order to escape physical “leprosy”. Show me the pathway to kingdom prosperity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: IMPROVING ON YOUR SUCCESSES, A KEY TO MAXIMIZING THE NEW SEASON

SCRIPTURE: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.
Philippians 3:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To maximize the year, 2024, you must identify what worked in the previous year but needs to be improved upon.

It has been established that every new season comes with new privileges and opportunities for greater exploits in life and destiny.
However, the ignorance of God’s programs for a new season is one reason why new seasons are not fully maximized.

The children of Issachar had the understanding of times and how to maximize them, and hence they were commanders over their brethren (1 Chronicles 12:32).

Now, how do you maximize a new season? How do you maximize the Year, 2024?
Identify what worked in the previous year but need to be improved upon.

To maximize the Year, 2024, you must identify what worked in the previous year, but should be improved upon.
In the wilderness, the children of Israel needed water, and God told Moses to strike the rock, and, water came out and they drank.
On another occasion when they needed water, God told Moses to speak to the rock. This second strategy required less energy to achieve the same result of getting water out of the rock.

This year, God is saying to you, “I am not saying what you have been doing is not working well, but I want you to reduce your energy to get greater results. I want you to spare time and resources so you can move faster.”
