You must be willing to begin from wherever you are if you must move forward.

Somewhere around the year 2021, I was working as a media person for the TEAM AUGOYE DELTA movement with my boss Walter-Henry Augoye.

At some point we needed to print some banners the medieval way where artists make use of letters neatly cut letters on cardboard papers and have them dabbed on the posts.

So we were directed to this artist whom I presume was in his 50's. He was renowned to be great in art works and yeah, by the time he was done with our job, there was no doubt in our minds that the man TRUELY was GOOD in what he does.

Impressed at his performance I wondered why he seemed to be doing NOT SO WELL financially, and one critical factor I suspected was the fact that this great artist was not known by many.

Most of the jobs he probably takes on are from families, friends, neighbors and the few he gets through recommendations.

After thinking carefully on how to support this aging man I approached him and commended him for the great piece of art. I also asked him out of curiosity how long he has been on the field and he responded with a smile on his face that he's been doing this since he was a kid.

Then I told him that he needs more publicity, stating that with what he has he can do even more if only more people can get to know about him.

So I suggested that I do a tiny interview with him, during which I'll ask him some few questions and showcase some of his amazing art works on my platform.

Guess what the man told me?? 🙆‍♂️😅
The aging man said he would have loved that but he'd like to put his shop (frontage of his house) in perfect shape first to make it more welcoming before he can grant the interview.

I tried convincing this great artist that NO OH DADDY, we can do this interview exactly the way your workshop is right now. With only a bit of arrangements and putting one or two together, we'd be good to go.

But the man refused and instead he took my number, flashed me and promised to call me whenever he's ready to grant the interview.

The next week I called him, oseh are you done with the arrangement of your shop? Can we come now and run the interview? His response - No my son am still on it, I'll call you once am ready.

And that was how days turned into weeks, weeks into months and months into years. Today I was opportunited to visit that locality and while I was passing by, I saw oseh in front of his shop, same way it used to be doing some job.

Imagine if he had granted that interview nearly 3 years ago, who knows??

The problem with alot of entrepreneurs and content creators is waiting for the perfect time to begin. No don't do that.

Start whatever you want to do wherever you are right now using whatever you have. You have more chances of scaling when you begin and continue improving on it.

This year 2024 coming, may this be your resolve!

It is okay to not have all the clarity from the begining. But don't allow that become a deterring factor. Start right now and as time go on by, the picture will become clearer!

Just at that point when you're about giving up, that's when you'll experience your BREAKTHROUGH. NEVER GIVE UP!

COMMIT TO SELF DEVELOPMENT EVERYDAY. You owe that not just to yourself but also to humanity!

We live in an age where value based marketing wins!

When you carry a negative lense to look at things, there's no way the things you see will look positive.

You will only scale through the good and though times if you GET INTENTIONAL about your goal!

What is the size of your dream? Ponder over this question as you go to bed tonight. Good night!!

Money doesn't come to you because you NEED IT. Money comes to you BECAUSE YOU GIVE VALUE in form of a PRODUCT, SKILL, SERVICE, INFORMATION or IDEA.

Regardless of what happens do not place all your focus on the HOW.
Rather, your primary FOCUS SHOULD BE ON YOUR DREAM!

Dear ladies, I do not know which one of you is reading this post right now buh I just wona let you know that IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE FACE, LOOKS OR BEAURY.

The question is what is up there in the head? What you got up there? The answer to this question surpasses every other stuff that also matters!

Be a woman of essence and value because when you are one, it won't be difficult to tell. The ideas, the creativity the result will be seen easily by the things you say and do!

One of the greatest k*iller of business is not taking record of what goes in and comes out on a daily basis. In the business world it is called book keeping!

Knowledge is an asset!! MONETIZE YOUR KNOWLEDGE, but while doing so ensure your clients recieve real value!

Live life in your own terms. Don't make yourself a puppet for anyone. Don't allow yourself be defined by the opinions of others!

Don't expect that everyone crossing your path will be FOR YOU, some will be AGAINSTS YOU, for they're all a part of the process.

Someone might attempt to do something bad to you today and the result of that attempt will lead to the next big achievement or accomplishment in your life!

Flow with the process while you play your part to maintain your inert structure.

Here are some stuffs I have done to improve my life and my productivity

1) I packaged my tv into a box: this means no more tv for me anymore

2) I decided not to buy a new bigger tv for parlour instead I made plans to build a bookshelf there instead

3) I decided to read at least a book each week

4) I deleted all music in my phone

5) I downloaded audio tapes of the best people in my field and listen to it everyday instead of playing music

6) Every morning I re-write down my major goals daily: This reminds me daily of my major goals

7) everyday I write down 5 small daily goals that will help me achieve my major goals and I don't stop working until I finish all of it

😎 I have a board in my workspace where I see all my small daily goals and I tick one off immediately I do it

9) I arrange all my daily goals accordingly to importance into A,B,C and I do the most important first before the less

10) I delegate movie watching and relaxing time to same time as when I eat: so I can take about 20-30 minutes to eat and watch movie and relax and after I finish the food I turn off the movie on my laptop and go back to work immediately

11) I make it a goal to make a sale every single day and I have a board in my workspace that I list out all my sales daily so I can compare my previous sale with today's sale

12) I put my phone on "donot disturb "when I need to do a major task, so I can't see messages or respond to them when I'm working and distract myself
