This is the consciousness we must have in in order to live a victorious life in Christ. Since we are dead in him we have be made alive through the Spirit which quicken us with him. If we are quicken by that Spirit which raise Christ from the dead then we are lead by that same Spirit and as many that are lead by that same Spirit are the sons/daughters of God. As a result of this we can not exercise our right and ordination if the Spirit do not bear witness with our spirit and if we are not lead by the Spirit of God.

So can we pulse a bit and examine ourselves to if we truly have this inner witness and if you discover you don't have it. Do well by reestablishing you relationship with Christ and sincerely pour out your heart to him.

If through the grace of God upon your life you are very sure you have this inner witness. Be rest assure that your life is no more yours but is of Christ and you are in him and He is in you and in him dwell the fullness of Godhead bodily because the Godhead dwell in Christ and you are in Christ and Christ is in you likewise the Godhead dwell in you bodily.

Colossians 2:9-10 and you are complete in Christ which is the head of every principalities and power can you see your right and ordination in Christ if truly you have attained a new life in him. You have been ordain to be head of all principalities and power so why are you still living as one who have been defeated?

I will like to end today teaching by asking this simple question;

Do you really know that you are dead in Christ?

Do you know that the live you are living now is no more your life?

Do you know that you have been quicken/made alive in Christ?

Do you know that the fullness of Godhead dwell in you bodily?

Do you know that you are in Christ heading every principalities and powers?

From our key text Apostle Paul wrote a very key and sensitive script to the Colossians which was founded by one of his associate Epaphras in 1:7. Although paul was not the one that established the church at colos and he has not visited the church but he had a concerned to ensure that the believers had the right knowledge of who they are in Christ because of the evil that is prevailing in the early Church then which is also common in our days.

Many Christians are living a shallow Christian life and are living based on human regulations. As a result of this they do not know their prospect and constrain of their faith in Christ. So brother Paul was like encouraging them to walk in Christ since they have received him.

For you to walk in Christ you must be rooted and built up in him, and be settle/establish in the faith. This is what will help you not to be deceive by the philosophy and vain deceit, which is after the tradition of men after the pattern of the world and not of Christ. If you live your life base on this you will never know your right as a believer and you will be under the torment of the evil one.

One principal thing that we ought to know is that the moment we accept Jesus into our life and you are sure that the spirit of Christ bear witness with your own spirit that you are the child of God automatically you become dead in Christ you are no more alive into yourself again. Roman 6:3-11 because we are death in Christ and buried with him we also shall live in a newness of life which is in Christ. Therefore the life we live is no more our life but the life of Christ. Galatians 2:20

Today we will be focusing on our right and ordination in Christ

This study is very penitent base on my personal researched I understand that many Christian don't really know their right in Christ and how to exercise their God given authority.

Therefore we will like to take our text from Colossians 2:6-15, 1 John 4:17 , Ephesians 1:15-23

6. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Faith begins, continues and finishes by fixing our gaze Jesus.
The above statement is the primary revelation you need to see your faith function optimally.

Matthew 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Many begin their faith with their eyes on the Lord Jesus but get distracted along the line.
Satan knows he can not stop a believer whose eyes are fixed on the Lord Jesus. His strategy is to try to get their gaze off the Lord to either the situation or to themselves.

In the case of Peter his gaze was taken off the Lord to the situation- the wind became boisterous...

Suddenly you will notice as though the situation is getting worse. This is satans attempt to get your eyes off the Lord to the situation(the symptoms are getting stronger, things are getting tougher...). And as long as your gaze is fixed on the situation it will magnify.
Rather than getting your eyes off the Lord to the situation, be more tenacious in your faith, by confessing Gods word more vigorously and rejoicing. The tougher it gets, the more tenacious and audacious you should be. Before long you will watch the mountains crumble before you.

Many believers are deceived to believing God changes His mind on what He intended to do for them because they made a mistake. This is the second strategy satan uses in an attempt to stop the believer from receiving.

The Holy Spirit responds to passion and hunger for him.
He comes when you seek Him deligently. Surround your life with mysteries you get searching the word of God. Know Him and everything he has said by diligently searching scriptures.

Do you know....the devil can occupy you with issues that distract you from seeking God? Jesus told Martha to stop worrying about so many things and sit down on his feet and seek him.

The devil has made sitting at the feet of Jesus to look like a waste of time. This hurry in life is bad. God is a God of speed but he does not rush people. I am where I am today because I took my time while everyone was rushing,
I sat with God learning mysteries.

Just like some of you now, God is asking you to sit down but you want to run because you see others running but if only you knew where he is taking you to by just one mystery he can show you when you sit down with him.

God is saying, if you can pay attention to me, what people seek for ten years, I can give you in six months..
God does not give men doors, He is the door. So even in your errors as you sincerely continue seeking him, his mercy can remedy for your mistakes and cause you not to miss the door regardless of the enemies that tried to stop you from moving.

Don't walk with God with fear. God is the door. Just seek his heart and he will make sure he takes you to the place of destiny. You cannot miss it following Him.
That's the God we serve.

Let me tell you a big secret..
The key is not in your perfection as you follow God..the key is in your sincerity. God is not expecting you to be perfect , all he requires is your sincerity. When you put God first and God always, when he occupies every space in your life, this is your first key for exemption.

HOW THE APOSTLES and SOME DISCIPLES OF CHRIST DIED:

1. Matthew - suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound.

2. Mark - died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by horses through the streets until he was dead.

3. Luke - was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost.

4. John - faced martyrdom when he was boiled in a huge basin or caldron of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation there on the island of Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve as bishop of Edessa in modern day Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully.

5. Peter - was crucified upside down on a cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die in the same way that Jesus Christ had died.

6. James - the leader of the church in Jerusalem, was thrown down over a hundred feet from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. *This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the temptation.

7. James the Son of Zebedee - was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a lifetime of ministry. As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched in amazement as James defended his faith at his trial. Later, the officer walked beside James to the place of ex*****on. Overcome by conviction, the Roman officer declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.

8. Bartholomew - also known as Nathaniel was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.

9. Andrew - was crucified on an X-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony. His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words: 'I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it.' He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired.

10. Thomas - was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Sub-continent.

11. Jude - was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.

12. Matthias - the apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot, was stoned and then beheaded.

13. Paul - was tortured and then BEHEADED by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.

Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor compared to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times, for the sake of Christ and the faith.

STOP UNNECESSARY COMPARISON.

I have heard many people comparing the gospel messages in our days and the days of the Apostles.

I want to correct some ideology in the mind of some zealous Christians in quote.

Note that the Church now is very powerful the way the Church in the Apostles days everything that happened in the days of the Apostle still happened now even greater.

In the days of the Apostles peter preached the people said "men and brethren what are we to do to be save" in our days men like Bro Gbele Akani will preached/teach people will be crying and weeping before he finished his sermon.

In the Apostle Paul meeting they give up their charms and magic books to be burned. In our days in Daniel kolender meetings same happened.

In the days of the Apostles the blinds see, the deaf hear the cripple walk etc. In our days same is in operations in Paul Enench ministry.

In the days of the Apostles they die for the gospel. In our days do you know the numbers of people that have died in northern Nigeria for the sake of the gospel?

Why is the comparison?

Some said some of our preacher are preaching for the sake of personal gain. Same happened in the days of the Apostles read Philippines.

Some said they are bringing idolatry and immorality into the Church. Same happened in the days of Apostles read 1 Corinthians very well.

In our days there are false teaches/prophets (ministers). Same also in the days of the Apostles.

So why saying " I wonder if the gospel we have now is different from the gospel the Apostle received?"

I discovered that many of those people that keep on saying these things are those that are one sided and are myopic concerning Satanic strategies over the Church.

The Apostle in their days know that they have one common enemy. Which is the devil. They never fight themselves but keep on encouraging their coverts to grow in grace and how to have accurate discernment against false teaching.

Among all these things which one are we suppose to protect from a second party?

People are ready to die for their political parties rather than the gospel...

Where the youth pay more respect to the voice of celebrities than the voice of God's ordained prophets...

They even monitor and follow up ballot boxes why the new converts in their churches are perishing because of lack of follow up...

This is the generation where ladies are now scheduled for hibs surgery, b***s sugery.

Guys are now going for pennis enlargement... All these are just to satisfy their s*xual urge and boost their fornication spirit...
