2. A Nephrologist, who will diagnose and treat Kidney problems.

Clinic days: Tuesdays, Third floor, Internal medicine department.

3. A Neurologist who see, diagnose and treat cases affecting the brain and neurological conditions.

DUFUHS Quick Updates & Notice
NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF PERIOD FOR PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES
This is to notify the candidates offered provisional admission that the University has graciously extended the deadline for payment of school fee to 15th November, 2023.

By this, any candidate who fails to pay school fee on or before the deadline would have his/her provisional admission withdrawn and replaced by another candidate.
Please note that this is the final extension.

DEADLINE FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENT PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEE AND SCHOOL FEES
This is to inform all the newly admitted students that their admission into David Umahi Federal University of Health Science will be canceled if they fail to pay their school fees before the 31st of October 2023.

All admitted students should please take advantage of this window to conclude the payment of acceptance fee and school fees.

Candidates are to log on to check admission status link with their Jamb Registration Number to check their admission status.

CBN INSPECTS FACILITIES AT DUFUTH

The Department of Medical Services, Central Bank of Nigeria, today paid an unscheduled inspection visit to DUFUTH.

The visit was for rating and certification of the hospital as a potential standby facility and referral centre for CBN staffs, dependents and retirees.
At the end of the visit, the university teaching hospital was rated very high,.

HOW TO PAY FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FOR 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Application forms are available online on the University website: www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng.

STEP 1

First Method: BUY UNDERGRADUATE FORM ONLINE

On the website www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng click on the admission menu, select online application and then Click here to Buy Undergraduate Admission Form Online

Second Method: ELECTRONIC PIN

Walk into any Bank Branch nationwide.

Request to make payment for David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences Undergraduate application form 2023/2024 on REMITA Platform

Pay the sum of ₦10,000 (Ten thousand naira only) and obtain payment slip containing a unique PIN.

Login with the generated pin for the Degree/IJBM/Inter-university transfer form application.

STEP 2

On obtaining the electronic pin candidates should log on to www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng and select "Online Application Undergraduate" from the Admissions menu tab on the home page.

The next page will require the candidate to enter his/her phone number and e-pin against the fields provided and click login.

Follow the on-screen instruction after gaining access to complete the form.

STEP 3

Print the Form after submission.

Admission Requirements
Applicants are required to have sat for the 2023/2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
For all admissions into 100 Level, applicants must possess five (5) credits passed at SSCE in relevant subjects (ie., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Mathematics), at not more than two (2) sittings and must have scored 140 or above in the 2023/2024 UTME in relevant subjects.
Eligibility: Requirements
Candidates who choose DUFUHS in JAMB and
Candidates who choose other Universities. Candidates under category (ii.) are required to apply for change of Institution through JAMB Portal to be eligible for screening and admission into DUFUHS.
Candidates awaiting SSCE result or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for admission provided the result (s) will be uploaded on DUFUHS Portal one week prior to the date of screening.

To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 140 in the 2023 JAMB.

Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 140 and above in JAMB are further encouraged to do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice, and apply for admissions.

Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wishes to study in the University can apply into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which, the candidate can be admitted directly into 200 level without writing JAMB.

The University also accept students from other accredited universities who wishes to transfer from their current universities to our university. Such a student must have completed one academic session from his/her current university with evidence of JAMB admission letter and official academic transcript indicating that such a student is in good academic standing.

MODE OF REGISTRATION/PAYMENT

Candidates are required to visit our website www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng and click on undergraduate application and follow the procedure to obtain admission form after making a payment of ten thousand naira (₦10,000) only through the Remita payment platform.
