When making fruit juices, the essential fibres are stripped off and only the sugars are left. While fruit sugars are certainly better than refined sugars, if you are avoiding high sugar intake, you should either eat your fruits whole or make healthy smoothies.

I've had several people ask me if it will be fruits we see in Nigeria that would be used. Abeg, my people, na Naija I dey o. I did not travel to bring in fruits for the Smoothie course o. I did get a wide range of fruits - frozen, fresh, affordable, expensive... All sorts. But what you will LEARN is the basis of how to combine whatever fruits you have access to with not.more than two fruits for great taste!
