On this day, we remember the heroes who protected the world from one of the most devastating man-made catastrophes in the human history πŸ™πŸ•―
April 26, 1986... Kyiv region... a small town of Chornobyl.. nuclear explosion that forever changed the lives of the millions.

February 2022 - russian full-scale invasion didn't pass by the Chornobyl zone. The occupants dug the radioactive ☒️ soil and caused a new contamination of this area after decades 😳

I visited Chornobyl Exclusion Zone in September 2021. Here are some shots of what was meant to be a new project. Maybe I'll come back there when it's possible to finish it.

Glory to the Heroes πŸ™πŸ•―
