TEXT: DANIEL 1:8-12
8. But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
9. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
10. And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
11. Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
12. Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

KEY VERSE: JOHN 15:16 Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.

Men do not light a lamp and put it under bushel but on a candlestick that it should give light to everyone that is in that environment. God saved you to save others. When the maniac of Gadara was delivered from madness, he came to himself and believed in Christ.

He wanted to follow Christ wherever He went but Jesus said, “Go home to your friends, to your people and declare to them what the Lord has done for you and how he has shown you compassion.” The man went to ten cities around where he was, from city to city because he had operated in those cities and they knew him.

“This is me. I am saved now.” God expects us to testify of His works to others. Tell your family how your life changed, what Jesus has done for you. Tell sinners around what Jesus has done for you.

God has warned us that when He tells the righteous to warn the sinners and he refuses to warn them and death takes away the sinner, He will demand the soul of that man from him. If you are righteous, you cannot afford to let others perish around you; you will want to go after them to bring them to righteousness. Go and make converts to Christ.

The conviction not to defile himself was first of Daniel but because he would bear fruits, he converted the other children so that they all purposed not to defile themselves. Daniel passed this conviction to Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego and they all got convicted not to defile themselves.

If you are a righteous leader or pastor, what are you doing concerning your brothers, friends and neighbors that have not known holiness? Have you told them? “Ah! Leave everybody to himself.” Then you are not doing the work of God because you should make converts.

Thought for the day: Go and win converts so that they should be after your kind in holiness, righteousness and truth.

TOPIC: REMEMBER JESUS IN YOUR PEACE AND PROSPERITY

TEXT: 2 SAMUEL 7:1- 2
1. And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies;
2. That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

KEY VERSE: PSALM 99:3 “Let them praise thy great and terrible name, for it is holy.”

Remember Jesus in your peace and prosperity. Is life well with you? Do you prosper in spirit, soul and body? Do you flourish materially? Do you have new clothes and shoes, wrappers and changes of clothing? Remember Jesus did it. It came from Him.

Have you bought a car or house? Do you have a good business? You feel so happy. Do your enemies laugh with you with all their hearts? No more enmity. Life is well with your enemies so that you can look around and say, ‘I have no enemy.’ Is your life filled with peace? Are you peaceful in your house? Do you drive peacefully and sit in your office happily, none troubling you? Remember Jesus.

Oh, husband and wife, there is great fun in the house. You sit on the table, beautiful table; eggs fried with vegetable oil, salad, butter, tea, noddle, milk and beverages. Well decorated, the fragrance coming to your nose and all these things are available to enjoy. As you are eating with your wife, sweating because the tea is hot. Tell your wife, “Remember Jesus.

These things did not come from your husband but Jesus provided them. It is Jesus that has made life good for us. It is Jesus that has blessed this house and has provided these. He even sustained me, kept me alive and made me a useful husband. Jesus also gave me the income. Remember Jesus.”

Woman, did you cook a nice soup for your husband? As you see him busy with food, look at his face and say, “Husband, remember Jesus.” This soup you are eating came from Him. If not for Jesus, would you have gotten a wife like me? See the kind of soup I prepared for you. See how life is so good. I have you in my heart. Jesus gave me the thought of what to do for you. He gave me the wisdom of making this food.

Remember Jesus. It all comes from Him; the good things of life, employment, salary and the position you occupy. Therefore, keep Him in remembrance always. In your dressing, family affairs, business, education and Christian ministry, remember Jesus.

2. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
3. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
4. So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

Completion of the Lord’s revelation on T. B. Joshua to Sister Linda:
After the death of Prophet TB Joshua, the Lord revealed through Sister Linda that he was an occultic grandmaster that worked doggedly for Satan to pollute Christianity and resist revival of holiness.

In the revelation, the Lord Jesus said, “When T.B. Joshua’s soul came out from his body in death, he marveled because the devil had told him that he would not die. Then he knew that I, whom he had despised could do all things. The power he thought he had to live long failed. Satan told him that he could not help him at his God-appointed time.

Now in hell fire, he knows Me, the Most High, Who rules over the kingdom of men. I will punish him for all the evils he has done. Even Satan is afraid to see the torment of TB Joshua in hell fire. The spirit world is crying; looking for who to replace him. I took his life in judgment because he was planning to launch another wicked mission in the world.”

The Lord continued, “I am doing all these to give way to My Movement, Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide. If the Churches knew the great benefit of removing T. B. Joshua from the world, they will praise and thank Me a lot for his death.

I, the Lord Jesus, Am making My way for the last revival on earth. That is why I said, My eyes are on My son, Paul Rika and Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide.

Tell My son, Paul Rika. to consider what the evil world is saying about T.B. Joshua who they call a great man of God. Tell him that I Am trying to help those who have never known or heard of Me. The ones that have known Me have hardened their hearts. I Am going for those who have not known Me; that is why I Am running with My son, Paul Rika.”

TOPIC: THE GREATNESS OF DANIEL: ADDITIONAL QUALITIES OF DANIEL

TEXT: DANIEL 1:3-6
3. And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;
4. Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
5. And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.
6. Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

KEY VERSE: DANIEL 1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus

Daniel possessed moral powers. What Nebuchadnezzar never knew was moral powers. He didn’t got moral powers. Daniel was above others in moral powers. Daniel was great in godliness. What Nebuchadnezzar never knew was godliness. Daniel was above others in godliness.

As we go on in our studies, there are other things Nebuchadnezzar never knew of Daniel. He had additional qualities. His own university said children with five credits but Daniel had nine credits. Above the required five credits.

So, this is the man called Daniel. Daniel was great in humility. This is the man with additional qualities of humility. Daniel was a great lover of God. Additional qualities; love for God, was in Daniel.

Does God make a man like that? Sure. Now the question is, if a common king needs people of this qualities, what about the King of kings?. What qualities of people would He desire to stand before Him?

But you are not building up yourself, you are not creative, you are not adding to yourself, you are not acquiring more for yourself to stand before this God. You are not applying your intelligence to Christianity. You are not productive. You are not inventive in the life of holiness.

Do you know the qualities of the men that will enter heaven, to stand before the eternal King? These are qualities requested by a mortal king, what about the immortal King. Do you think you qualify actually to stand before the great God? Do you think that He is taking everybody? Now even these qualities were not enough.

Reading from Daniel 1:5, we discover that even these inherent, natural, self-developed qualities were not enough. Additional work had to be done on them to qualify them to stand before the king; teaching them the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans. I want to teach them not only the language and learning of Babylon, I will impact unto them the ancient things to qualify them to rule with me.

TEXT: ROMANS 11:33-36
33. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!
34. For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor?
35. Or who hath first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36. For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

KEY VERSE: JOHN 13:20 Verify, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth Me; and he that receiveth Me receiveth Him that sent Me.

If the Lord sends a man through prophecy to you and you will receive that man, who actually have you received? The Lord. If the Lord send somebody by the word received from dream to warn you and you reject it, you reject the Lord. You do not reject the Lord Jesus alone you reject the Father because He is one with the Father. He sent the word of prophecy or revelation to you and you did not receive it. You have rejected Jesus. He that rejects you rejects Me.

Churches and persons that reject proven revelations the Lord has sent through our beloved sister and many others are saying no to Jesus because that is the word of God. Do not boast because your pastor said no to Jesus; it is dangerous for you. It will affect the lives of many of you in that church.

Do not boast because your denomination said no to the message Jesus sent or to the messenger Jesus sent. It is dangerous to your denomination, very dangerous. They will live in darkness. He sent it because there is a purpose. For the Lord does not do a thing without a purpose.

There are people there He wants to quicken and bring up and you have refused. Those people will perish and you will be accountable for them because you blocked the messenger with the words of the Master from having have access to the people He created and brought to His own church.

Why did they not pray and ask God whether He sent that messenger. Why did they not pray and search the scripture to examine whether it is the word of God. God expects us to keep all the word of God both in the variety of the word and the variety of the doctrines. Whatever He says to you, in whichever pattern it is manifested unto you, do it. For Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

TEXT: JOHN 6:25-29
25. And when they had found Him on the other side of the sea, they said unto Him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?
26. Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek Me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for Him hath God the Father sealed.
28. Then said they unto Him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29. Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent.

KEY VERSE: PSALM 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

The parents of the man born blind were afraid to the point that Jesus healed their son born blind yet they refused to testify to His glory because you fear that the Jews may remove you from the synagogue. Is that synagogue that that man denied Jesus for still standing there in Jerusalem? Vanity! All of them will vanish.

Why not labour for that which will give you everlasting life? Can God not protect you? When I was commanded by denominational church authority, “Burn that book on divine revelations,” suppose I had done it, would the Lord had accomplished His desire? The fear of man would have destroyed the eternal plan of God.

Brother, repent. Go and do what is right. If they send you out, Jesus will meet with you. It will speak against them on the day of judgement, but do not allow God to fall upon you. Teach it, preach it.

There is graduation in ministerial authority; what you do not know, the other person may know. Go and ask him. Read his materials to get the truth, then go and teach your people. They do it in secular education. Why are we not doing it in the church? To learn from those the Lord has raised above you.

Learn from them. Read their materials. Attend their conferences. Listen to their messages so that you can know what to teach others and save them and save yourself.

Some people say that there are no writings on earrings. Read the book, ‘Divine revelation and scriptural exposition on believers holiness in clothing and adornment.’ You will be surprised what the Bible contains against the use of jewellery. It is because you do not know.

It is like giving a sealed book to an educated man; he will say, “Oh I cannot read it because it is sealed.” If you break the seal and give the book to an illiterate, he will say, I did not go to school. That is how the Bible is to some people. With all your education, you cannot read it to bring out truth from there. Some are illiterate and cannot read but the educated are not helping matters.

TEXT: REVELATION 2:1-5
1. Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in His right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3. And hast borne, and hast patience, and for My name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

KEY VERSE: REVELATION 2:4 “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”

God lamented greatly over the backsliding of Israel: ‘I delivered you from wild beasts, from many terrible things and from darkness of life. I delivered you and brought you out to Myself to a good place. I brought you into a plentiful country but the people are not looking for Me.

See what God is saying and apply it to Holiness Revival Movement. You jumped into it with joy. Your joy, your happiness, your celebration and your testimonies were great Oh the Lord has saved me from darkness. The Lord has opened my eyes. I will not go to hell. I am for heaven. My name is there written with the golden pen.

You were zealous unto the Lord. Yes! But what has happened now? The vision of heaven is gone. The love of God has been laid aside. You are even looking for trouble against the system. The revelations of the Lord are not valued; you call them formulation and lies! How did you come to this state that you do not see holiness in the preacher anymore? As a leader, you even want to go and start your ministry. You feel that you have learnt enough. Man!

That is man! He is thinking of his own. But what about the voice of the Lord that says, “You will not do better for Me outside than here?” “No, forget that, it is not the voice of the Lord. They formulated it.” “What about the warnings that over there the wind is turbulent, you will not be able to stand alone? If you need My full attention, come to Holiness Movement.” “Forget that story.” Those are slogans of the people because of backsliding.

The freshness of Christ is not there anymore and this is what we are mourning about in HOREMOW. Another thing is happening now. Some kinds of wind have blown over the people. The people are cold. The zeal is not there. They suspect one another. They criticize one another. They criticize dignitaries without fear. They do not fear the commandment of God anymore.

TEXT: EXODUS 32:1-5
1. And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
2. And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
3. And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
4. And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
5. And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.

KEY VERSE: EXODUS 32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.

Aaron! God led you to look for Moses who you never saw for forty years. You came and saw Moses and God showed you how you and Moses will go to perform miracles before the Egyptian magicians to show that He is superior to all gods. You went with Moses. Pharaoh was worshiped as a god but you and Moses went and humbled him.

You saw all the power that was displayed by the Almighty God. It was Moses speaking to you what to do all through this way, you saw the manifestation of the power of God. Moses told you that the Lord has asked him to come to meet Him in the mountain. What? Just one month Aaron, and you make idols for the people?

Brethren, not everybody can be a general overseer or a general superintendent. For example, Aaron with all he knows about God cannot be one. Although he has the eloquence, he cannot be. That’s why when Moses was directing God to Aaron, the Lord said, “No. Did I not see Aaron? I know he is eloquent but it is you Moses. If I want My people to reach the Promised Land, it has to be you.”

Do not follow after overseers blindly. God does not know many of them. They do not have the backbone to do that job. They will lead the people to Egypt. They will lead them astray even though they may appear as noble or charismatic people. Yes!

Eloquent people with miracles following them but they do not have the backbone to resist the devil nor the power to withstand sinners or the pressure coming from men. They will lead you off; give you wrong counsel and destroy your life.

They will comfort you in sin in order to make you sponsor their polluted ministries. They will twist scriptures to give you false hope and feel holiness is not required to make heaven because they will tell you that it does not matter. Be wise and save your soul from the grip of Satan and false prophets.

TOPIC: TRUTH PRODUCES GODLINESS WHICH ATTRACTS ETERNAL LIFE

TEXT: 2 TIMOTHY 3:15-17
15. And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

KEY VERSE: PSALM 94:22 “But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.”

The truth will produce godliness; godliness will attract eternal life because God who cannot lie promised eternal life to the godly. I, Pastor Paul Rika preach and teach the truth which is after godliness.

Godliness gives eternal life because God promised that He will give him eternal life to the godly and the truth is what produces godliness. When you deny people the truth, they cannot be godly and so cannot have eternal life.

Many refuse to preach against use of earrings in their churches because of fear of man. Do you know that no man has power to stop your preaching the truth that you are convinced of? Peter and the Apostles said, “We cannot but speak of the things which we have seen and heard which we know are true.”

Do you fear church authority like the parents of the child born blind? Are you like them? They have gone to hell but you are coming after. What power does any church authority have to say you should not preach on earrings in that church? Go and preach it. What authority do they have to say that you should not baptize people correctly?

Obey God because none of them will judge you on the last day. God will judge you for the carnal fear you manifest for man. Man can only dismiss you from service but God will dismiss you from the earth and send you to hell. Do they have power? The hair of your head shall not fall to the ground except the heavenly Father allows it. Fear will make you a fruitless person, waiting for divine judgment.

Remember that a tree in the garden bore no fruit for three years and the master said, “Why does it cumber the ground? Cut it down.” The gardener pleaded, “Let me dig round it and apply manure.” We are still digging round you to see if you will do anything, or if in that denomination you will keep shutting your mouth. If I had shut my mouth like that in deeper life, would you be in HOREMOW today?

18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

KEY VERSE: PSALM 103:2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul and forget not all His benefits.”

My name is Paul Nathaniel. God delivered me from death through food poisoning by my boss. Some years ago, I was employed by a Security outfit in Abuja and posted to work in the house of a foreigner. While there, I always read my Bible and prayed at mid-night. This man was a Muslim and anytime I engaged in prayer he would be smoking and watching me from the balcony of the main house.

I kept on praying and reading my Bible. One day he came back from the office and asked me to see him. I closed the gate and went to his room. To my surprise he had bought much Suya (roasted meat delicacy) and bread and he gave some to me.

Actually, I had not been paid for some time. Since I was hungry, I collected the bread and Suya and did not even pray well but started eating as soon as I left him. Unfortunately, the Suya and bread was poisoned. Afterwards, I had severe stomach troubles with excruciating pains. The situation worsened before night.

Then I began to cry to God. That night I had a dream. In the dream, I saw myself in a program of Holiness Revival Ministry and Pastor Paul Rika came to the pulpit and announced that there would be deliverance for two brethren present. Then he said, “Evangelist Paul! Come out!” I came out and all the brethren started praying for me.

As the prayer was going on, Pastor Paul Rika laid his hand on my stomach and said that whatever I ate should come out. I began to vomit seriously in the dream. Live maggots came out of my mouth in large numbers. Later, he called out a sister and the brethren prayed for her and she was delivered.

Behold when I woke up from this dream, my stomach became calm. I was healed without drugs. My boss was shocked by my miraculous recovery and he called my supervisor and requested that I should be transferred away from him. So, I was posted to another place.

TOPIC: GOD HAS STANDARDS FOR HIS MINISTERS

TEXT: 1 TIMOTHY 3:1-11
1. This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3. Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4. One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5. (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6. Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8. Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9. Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

KEY VERSE: 1 TIMOTHY 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Many churches choose ministers, leaders, bishops as they want but these ones are not recognized by God because God has standards. If you choose a thief or polygamist, then you have chosen someone who is not even in Christ.

You may have chosen him and he is doing the work but he is not recognized by God because no man taketh this honor to himself but them that are chosen of God as was Aaron. You chose a man but never scrutinized him through the scripture.

A Christian does not belong to secret society, cultism or witchcraft. A Christian does not belong to other religion and does not bow to any other god. A Christian does not worship anything that God created.

If you are to meet God’s standard as a minister, you must be a true child of God and live a Christ-like life. If as a pastor you sent away your wife and married another wife, now that your eyes have been opened in Holiness Revival Movement, send away the second woman and reconciled with your first wife.

Maybe you have not yet come into Holiness Revival Movement. You are still at the gate. Enter inside and enjoy the fullness of the doctrine which says a woman who has a husband is bound to the law of marriage to that husband as long as the husband is alive.

So as long as you are alive that first woman remains your wife. She may be committing adultery but she is your wife. She may be married to another person but she is your wife until she dies and you remain the wife of that man until he dies.

If while the man is alive you marry another, you shall be called an adulteress and you know that no adulterer has any part in the kingdom of heaven. If you are a second wife even though married to a pastor, there is no hope of heaven for you. Even your days on earth will not go well how much more of heaven?
