To all that God shall use to make my 2023 a worthy year, I am thankful.

Let's normalize saying exactly how we feel, it is therapeutic for our mental health and anyone suppressing us from expressing such emotions is doing us more harm than good.

FOR YOUR MENTAL WELL-BEING & SANITY

Depression could be an irresistible mixed emotion/thought ranging from a sense of inadequacy, worthlessness, dejection, guilty, loss of courage or hope

This overwhelming feeling/emotion can be experienced by so many people in very different ways not necessarily the ones listed above.

And in severe cases, this feeling could lead to plans to harm oneself, lack of motivation to live, an urge to always cry and an absence of energy to forge ahead.

Unfortunately, most people are apprehensive in talking about it because of the stigma attached and the brushing off they receive from naive people when they talk about their situation.

But today l want to confidently tell anyone in such a situation that is no shame in saying how you feel because YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Seek help to start the talk, accept genuine support when offered and speak to a professional, you don't have to suffer alone.
