I had two reaffirming conversations today , one with my bro Dami of Bitnob and he said there was a day someone needed cleaning service in his office and someone said “there is this guy online that wears white and red” and another Morrison said “is it not YAZ “ and they quickly reached out my firm and gave us the job , Dami went further to say “that I have added class to cleaning and even though I am not a founding father in the cleaning industry yet I can claim to be one because I am currently a forerunner “, he also added that because of me a lot of people are currently opening cleaning businesses.

I spoke with Douglas (A labour procurement officer and the guy that helped me learn cleaning that I send all my students to when they are done with their training) in the evening and he said that “sir alot of people are benefiting from you , because of you my boys are always working , your students are always coming to pick them up everyday for work , your students have also started growing most of them have started even investing in machinery , everybody is saying it that you have really tried for us in Zone 3 , they are also really renting my machinery “

It is reaffirming for me because when I delved into this industry I promised myself that I was going to be a true leader and when I declared myself to be THE CLEANING KING , my intent was not to oppress, but to raise the industry by changing its outlook and supporting its practitioners, turns

Our soceity has spat on cleaners looked down on us as if we do not offer any form of value we are constantly disrespected, we are constantly paid close to nothing for the services we render, I might have been able to break the yoke and do something great with my cleaning business but the truth is even though YLCS is doing well what we have is crumbs compared to what we would have been earing if the cleaning industry had a good structure and unlike our founding fathers who forgot about building pur industry and were just focused on filling up their pockets I will use my position of influence to highlight these issues and constantly reiterate the need for you all to respect cleaning practitioners and treat us with dignity and this also entails your domestic staff.

It's time to raise the cleaning industry and as the new generation we are at the forefront of this evolution.

There is a heavy inflow of cleaners into the industry which is tremendous because there is a need for more practitioners to join this good fight against dirt, but this inflow could also be disadvantageous to the growth of our industry because the bulk of these cleaners delving into the industry have failed to get proper training on running a cleaning business, so they will end up further devaluing us instead of uplift the industry, lop the other day I saw someone that copied all my pricelists price for price , even down to how my graphic designer designed it , the only thing they changed is the brand colour amd logo , do you what factors I considered before setting those prices?, do you know if those prices are too high or low for you , do you think it visit prices that make people get customers in our industry ? , so many mistakes so many of you are making because you are looking for shortcuts, for little number that have decided to go through growing their business the right way and following the right processes, I sincerely wish you the very best amd I kno2 so many of you will raise the standard of this industry.

I say it publicly and privately that the older generation of cleaning practitioners focused on governmental contracts and left us with no road map on how to build a formidable cleaning businesses, THEY FAILED US!! .

A few years ago our industry lack mentorship , training or proper guidance because the older generation failed to set blueprints for us and they hoarded the secrets of the industry .
