HOW TO MAKE POUNDO YAM FLOUR

1. Wash yam to remove excess dirt and sands.
2.Peel yam and wash the yam
3. Slice the yam in uniform chips to allow the yam chips to dry quicker and simultaneously.
4.Transfer the yam chips into a pot of hot water then parboil for 5 mins. Remember not to allow the yam chips to be cooked.
5.Transfer the parboiled yam into a sieve to drain water.
6. Dry the yam chips with a food dehydrator or sun-dry the yam chips until properly dried.
7. Grind or mill the yam chips into a fine flour.
8. Store in a tight container.

Easy way of making bread at home

Home bread

Ingredients
✓ 6 Cups of flour
✓ 1 cup of sugar
✓ 3 tablespoon of powder milk (mix with water)
✓ 2 Tablespoons of yeast
✓ pinch of Salt
✓ 3 tablespoon of butter
✓ 4 eggs
✓ 3 cap of butterscotch flavor or vanilla
✓ Warm water

Directions
Step 1,In a large mixing bowl pour in your warm water,and add all your dry substance,yeast,sugar and your milk and pinch of salt stir properly

Step 2 add in your dry flour in the mix water substance and make sure you use your hand to mix,whisk your egg and add to the flour, add your vanilla flavour or butterscotch everything inside the bowl and lastly add your butter and massage thoroughly in the bowl and cover for 30min place in the sun or heated place

Step 3,get a plain surface and spread dry flour on it, uncover ur bowl of dough and pour out your rising dough on the plain flour surface and knead,knead very well until the flour is smooth,

Step 4,cut your dough into desire shape of want and place in your baking tray, keep it for 10 to 15mins to relax and rise a little again

Step 5, make sure your baking tray or baking pan is grease with butter before adding your mix dough on it

Step 6,preheat your oven and get set to bake,,

Step 7, after the dough have risen a little in the tray pan or your baking pan,rub the whisk egg on top of the dough and place in the oven, allow to bake until it turn to your desire colour,I always like my bread yellow white but some like it browny color,
Bring out and allow to cool off,ready to eat with your tea, beans butter sardine or anything of your choice,

Home made chocolate for children.

Ingredients:
1. Butter
2. Powder milk
3. Sugar
4. Cocoa powder"
(ingredients are eye measured)

Procedure:
Melt your butter in a pan

add sugar stir the sugar well, then add powder milk stir

add cocoa powder and stir well until it comes a little tick, put down to cool small, put it in any of your choice shape and keep it in the refrigerator.

Let's make crispy French fries 🍟

Ingredients
Irish potatoes 🥔
Salt
Corn flour
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Procedure
1. Peel the Irish potatoes 🥔 and rinse with clean salty water

2. Cut into thin stripes and rinse in salty water again

3. Transfer into a layer of paper towel and dry off the water sprinkle the mixture of salt and corn flour on the Irish potatoes and mix

4. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy

HOW TO MAKE ICE CANDY

INGREDIENTS:

1. 1.5 Litres of water

2. 1 Cup of Sugar

3. Powdered milk

4. Colouring

5. Vanilla flavour

PROCEDURE:

1. Pour your 1.5 litres of water in a clean bowl

2. Add one cup of sugar and stir until the sugar dissolve completely

3. Add one tin cup of powdered milk and stir

4. Separate the mixture into 3 or more places and add your colouring vanilla flavour and stir

5. You can package it inside nylon or plastic container

6. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

Tips on how to achieve the lovely sausage roll
Sweet and crunchy

How to bake your sausage roll
Ingredient
✓ flour. (5 cups)
✓ butter (3tablespoon)
✓ egg (3piece)
✓ baking powder (half teaspoon)
✓ milk. (1 tablespoon)
✓ sugar (half teaspoon)
✓ pinch of salt
✓ water to mix
For filling
✓ 1 pack suasage roll
✓ 1 seasoning cube (k**r)
✓ pinch of black pepper and salt
✓ curry. (half teaspoon)
✓ thyme (half teaspoon)
Step1,
In a bowl add your 5 cups of flour, sugar and salt and baking powder and stir properly with your hand,I always use my hand for easy mixing and best result,Add your milk powder and whisk 2 pieces of egg and pour into your mix flour,the third egg is for rubbing on your dough before baking,then add your butter and little water for proper mixing,mix with your hand very well and mix smooth and thick,cover the dough to relax for 20 to 30mins

Step 2
Slice your suasage roll into piece and put in your blender and add all your dry substance, seasoning cube,pinch of salt, Thyme and curry,and add little water(5 tablespoon full of water)and blend, blend rough and not smooth,pour out in your frying pan or pot and stim for 2mins without any oil and put aside

Step 3
Pour your dry flour on a plain surface and spread your mix dough on it and massage again then cut into sizes and roll with your rolling pin,roll each of the cut dough and put a spoon full of the sausage blended filling inside the dough,roll round with your hand 2 times to cover well as seen in the picture,cover the open edge with water or egg to seal well

Step4, Break and whisk the 3rd egg and rub on top of your dough grease your tray pan with butter and place your dough on the grease tray ,ready to bake on a low heat,just like baking of meatpie
Bake for 1hr or 1hr to 30min to turn brown,

WATERMELON ICE CREAM 😋
Ingredients:
625ml of fresh watermelon juice
100g of sugar
20g cornstarch
150g watermelon pieces finely chopped
Salt
250ml cold whipped cream
red food coloring
Preparation:
1. In a saucepan add the watermelon juice, the sugar, the cornstarch, the watermelon pieces and cook until it starts to boil, stirring constantly. Let simmer for about 1-2 minutes.
2. Let the syrup cool and leave it in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
3. In a bowl, mix the whipped cream, add the syrup and a few drops of food colouring.
4. Mix with a mixer completely and leave in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
5. Mix with a spatula and with the mixer again. Transfer the mixture to the plastic container and leave it in the freezer for 7-8 hours.
6. Serve with chunks of watermelon.

Fish roll Recipes

Fish sauce
Wash and boil your fish with little water, remove the bone, grate pepper and onion and cook for a while with the fish, add little salt in it and leave to completely cool off.

For the pastry
Flour 1cup
Baking powder 1/4TSP
Nutmeg 1/4 TSP
Milk flavour 1/8TSP
Sugar 1/2TBSP
Butter 1/2TBSP
Water 1/2 cup

Procedures
Step1: pour your flour in a bowl

Step 2: Add your baking powder, milk flavour, nutmeg, and sugar then mix together.

Step3: add your butter into the flour mixture and coarse

Step5: gradually pour your water in it and check your consistency

Step6: knead for a while, add little flour to it if itsy sticking to your hand.

Step7: cut out depending on your profit/desired quantity

Step8: take one after the other and roll out
Step9: put your fish sauce in it starting from the upper part and roll tightly

Step10: seal the edges with water to avoid your sauce from removing

Step11: place on a tray dusted with little flour as you finish up.

Step 12: fry in a deep hot oil

Step 13: Enjoy it with a cold malt.

HOW TO MAKE WARA ( TOFU)

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

2 Cups of Soya Beans (For home consumption).
(higher quantity will be needed for business purpose)

3 teaspoon of lemon/lime juice or 1 cup of sieved pap water.

Water

PROCEDURE

Soak the soya beans in water for at least 6 hours or soak over night.

Blend into a smooth paste. Add little water to the paste to make it easy to sieve.

Sieve out the chaffs of the soya beans with a cheese cloth.

Pour the sieved milk inside a pot and bring to boil.

When it's boiling, add the lime or lemon juice or water from sieved pap. The addition of this will make the soya milk coagulate (form into lumps).

Bring down the pot from the stove/gas when the water totally separates from the coagulated milk.

Sieve the water out with a cheese cloth. Allow the water to drain properly.

At this point, some people usually add spices - like seasoning cubes, diced onions and pepper. If you don't want it spiced, just add a little salt to taste.

Bring out your well drained wara/tofu from the cheese cloth. Cut into desired shapes and sizes.

You can fry or roast your wara/tofu - depending on your preference.

Homemade Wheat Biscuit Recipe 🤗

Ingredients 👨🏼‍🍳

1. Wheat flour – 1 cup (150 grams)

2. Sugar – 1/2 cup (100 grams)

3. Butter – 2 tsp

4. Salt 1 pinch

5. Oil for frying

Method 👨🏼‍🍳

In a wide bowl. add 1 cup of wheat flour.

Add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.

Add 1 pinch of salt.

Add 2 tsp butter and mix everything well.

Add water little by little and knead a soft dough.

Once done, keep it covered for 15 minutes

After 15 minutes, on a countertop or cutting board spread some wheat flour.

Roll the dough with a rolling pin, flatten it evenly.

Cut it with a cookie cutter or a bottle lid into small circles.

Remove the excess dough and repeat until all done.

Now cookies are ready to fry.

Heat oil on a medium flame, add cookies one by one.

Mix it frequently to make the cookies in even color.

Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Now remove it from oil.

Cooldown completely and serve 🤗

PLANTAIN CHIPS RECIPE

INGREDIENT:

3 unripe plantains
Oil
Salt

PROCEDURES

STEP1:
Peel off the plantains and sliced the plantain into chips using of knife or any other fast equipment.

Step2:
In big bowl, transfer the chips , add water and some spoon of salt.
Leave to for 10 minutes.

Step3:
Sieve out the chips and allow the water to drain. In a plate mix 1 k**r Cub and half spoon of dried pepper mix together , then mix the spice and the chips .

STEP4
Heat up the oil to a medium heat, then put one whole onions for more flavour.
Then start frying the chips small small , continuesouly stirring till it becomes crunchy and golden brown color.

Step5:
After frying pull it out from oil and transfer the chips to the sieve and allow the oil drain.
Then package your plantain chips and enjoy .

You can equally spice with white pepper or ginger.

Do not parcel ur chips when it's hot.

HAIR GROWTH OIL

INGREDIENTS:
3 medium sizes of Onions (red one)
300ml pure virgin olive oil
100ml Castor oil (sold at d pharmacy)
5pcs of Vitamin E capsules.

PROCEDURE:
Using a grater, grate the onions, pour into a clean pan, pour the olive oil and heat on a very low heat for 15 - 25 minutes. Don't let it turn brown please.

Bring it down from the fire and leave in the oil overnight.

Seive using a cheese or pap siever.
Add the castor oil and vitamin E oil to the sieved onion oil.

Shake very well for 3 to 5 minutes.
Your magic hair growth oil is ready.

Note: Children can also use it.

Brown sugar cookies
Ingredients
1 & 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (room temp)113g
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
4 Tbsp golden syrup or honey
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
1.In a large bowl, sift all the dry ingredients together(except sugar ). Add sugar then whisk .

2. Rub in the butter until you get a crumbly mixture .

3. Add golden or honey and mix until it forms a dough .

4.Scoop out the dough using a spoon or an ice cream scoop. Form into balls .

5. Line the baking tray with parchment paper. Place the dough balls . Slightly flatten each with a spoon or your palm .

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Degrees Celsius for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown .

*Make sure the oven is very hot before baking , it will help to give the cookies those cracks .

Tips for a perfect chin chin

1. Avoid to much of margarine/ butter when mixing the dough. Too much butter will make your dough soggy, and this will end up drinking up your oil for frying.

2. Too many eggs is not what make ur chin chin rich, egg contribute to making ur Chin chin crunchy.as u can make a chin chin without egg and still come out fine. Too many eggs in your chin chin dough will make the oil to foam when frying.

3. When frying chin chin don't wait until it is completely brown before u remove from the oil, this will make the chin chin look too brown/ burnt like when completely cooled.

4. Avoid crowding your oil with your chin chin dough when frying as this will result in the chin chin drinking up the oil

5. To avoid your chin chin from looking burnt within a short time, avoid too much heat/ fire. Always use medium heat as low heat will make your chin chin soggy while too heat will make your chin chin burn.

6. Milk gives your chin chin that heavenly taste that will make u want some more. Always use in moderation.

7. When mixing your chin chin dough always add the water gently to avoid adding too much water to the dough, as this will make the chin chin drinking up the oil.

8. Adding little corn flour to ur chin chin gives it that unique taste and crunchiness. If u don't have a recipe with corn flour stick to the one u are good at .

9. If your dough is too watery or with insufficient margarine/ butter avoid jam packing them in a tray before frying to avoid them sticking together and making your chin chin a mess.

Always fry while cutting, if u must cut down sprinkle bit of flour over the cut dough to avoid them from sticking together. U can always sprinkle bit of flour or corn flour on ur work surface before rolling the dough, this helps a lot.

HOMEMADE MAYONNAISE

RECIPE
1 cup of veg.oil
Lemon 1whole
Vinegar 1/2 tablespoon
Pinch of salt for taste.
A teaspoon of sugar
2 fresh Eggs

PROCEDURE
Break and pour the egg into a bowl

Add vinegar

Add the juice from the lemon

Add salt and sugar

Pour in the vegetable oil

Then whisk all together until it turns thick like mayonnaise

Finally your mayonnaise is ready😍

Easy way of making popcorn at home without popcorn machine

Recipe.

3 cups of Popcorn (small dry yellow corns)
1, teaspoon of Sugar
2 tablespoon Powder milk
2 cap Vanilla flavour (optional)
1 tablespoon butter,(oil 2tablespoon)

For me I use butter but anyone can serve,

Procedure
Step 1,Put your butter or groundnut oil in your frying pan add little sugar and milk and little of vanilla flavour in the frying pan and mix together stir very well,then add your corn, mix together and cover it to pop on a low heat,

Step 2,When using groundnut oil,pour in 2 tablespoon of oil on your fry pan,allow to heat, pour in your corn and cover allow to pop, after popping open and pour in your powder milk and sugar,

Chocolate Cookies Recipe

For Cookie Dough :
▢ 100 grams butter (room temperature)
▢ 1 cup (100 gm) powdered sugar
▢ 1 tsp vanilla extract
▢ 1¼ (200 gm) maida / plain flour
▢ ¼ cup (15 gm) cocoa powder
▢ ½ tsp baking powder
▢ pinch salt
▢ 2 tbsp milk (chilled)

for baking in cooker:

▢ 1½ cup salt or sand

INSTRUCTIONS :

firstly, in a large bowl take 100 grams butter, 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
beat on low speed until everything is well combined.

continue to beat sugar and mixture until it turns whitish and silky smooth.
place a sieve and add 1¼ maida, ¼ cup cocoa powder, ½ tsp baking powder and pinch salt.
sieve the flour making sure there are no lumps.
now with the help of spatula mix the flour gently.

crumble and mix until the flour is well combined with butter mixture.
add 2 tbsp milk or as required if the mixture is dry. bring together and form a dough without kneading. form a soft dough making sure not to knead. to prepare cookie in a pressure cooker add in 1½ cup of salt and place a small cup or cooker rack. also, place a plate above it.

close the lid of cooker without keeping the gasket and whistle. heat for 5 to 10 minutes. as a result, gives a preheat oven atmosphere.
now pinch a ball sized dough and flatten slightly. place the cookie dough over the plate giving good space in between.

now cover and cook on a medium flame for 17 minutes. you can alternatively, preheat and bake at 180-degree celsius for 15 minutes.
the cookie will be soft initially. cool completely and the chocolate cookie turns crisp and crunchy.

finally, store the chocolate cookies in an airtight container and enjoy for a week.

ZOBO PREPARATION

The ingredients will be used to make 2 batches of delicious zobo drink.

PREPARATION TIME: 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME : 1HOUR 15 MINUTES

PREPARATION

Remove the seeds from the dates
If you are using dried dates, soak the date to soften it
Rinse lemon or lime and slice
Rinse ginger and peel the skin
Cut the ginger into small sizes and set aside
Wash the pineapple well in clean water with sponge and vinegar
Peel the pineapple
Set aside the Pineapple skin and dice the pineapple flesh
Pour the pineapple flesh, ginger, softened dates in a blender (can use mortar and pestle) and blend.
Pour the dried zobo leaves into water and rinse immediately

FIRST BATCH

Put your pot on fire
Add about 3liters of water in the pot
Add the rinsed zobo leaves, lime/lemon, cloves and cinnamon
Also add half of the pineapple skin and blended pineapple, ginger and dates paste
Cook for 30 minutes on high heat
After 30 minutes, turn off the heat
Get a clean big bowl and a sieve
Place the sieve in the big bowl and pour the cooked zobo drink into the sieve.

This is necessary to remove the leaves and other particules in order to get a smooth drink.

After sieving set aside, add your preferred flavor and allow it cool down

SECOND BATCH

Pour the sieved zobo leaves back into the pot
Add the remaining pineapple paste into the pot and peel with a litre of water.
Cook this second batch for 45 minutes

It is important to cook the second batch for a longer time in order to get the best out of the leaves.

After cooking for 45minutes turn off the heat
Again get a clean big bowl and seive
Pour the drink into the sieve to separate the leaves or stop the cooked pineapple paste from getting into the drink.

Mix both batches of Zobo drink together and allow it cool down.
Refrigerate................................................................
📍Sweetner is optional. If you feel your dates didn't do enough, add you Sweetner.
📍You can decide to use more water next, depending on how much you intend to sell a bottle but shouldn't be more than 5litres.
