If you’re new to my world, below is a little bit of information about my humble-self.
Ramatu Koroma is a multiple award winning actress and a film maker with an undying love for acting and storytelling. She is the Creative Director for her Film Production Company Ramkay Productions Ltd. With
a robust filmography as an actor and growing title belt as a producer, Ramatu is rising fast to become a creative to be reckoned with.
When she isn’t a creative, Ramatu is a dynamic Chartered Procurement Specialist with vast experience working both in the Public and Private sector in the UK.
Ramatu’s love for Filmography, content creation and story telling has inspired her new venture as a film maker. With a new Documentary about the War and its aftermath on the lives of vulnerable women in Sierra Leone schedule for release early next year and the most anticipated movie of 2024 titled “CONTENTION” is about to take her craft to a whole new level. Contention is one of many projects that aims to bridge the gap between Nollywood and the Sierra Leone Movie Industry.
Her other works includes London Na Wa, Housewives & girlfriends TV, 47 Hours, Perfect Plan 2, To be again, Maids of Docklands, James and Contention. In 2016 she won an Award for Best Actress at the 2016 Nollywood Europe Golden Awards in Los Angeles USA, She also won an award for Best African actress at the 2016 BEFFTA Awards in London and also won the best actress award at the 2018 Wazobia Awards in Manchester United Kingdom.
