You don't have to discover what has been discovered. You can succeed where your predecessor failed. Clever people people learn from their own mistake, wise people learn from the mistake and success of others. A mentor can deliver what he learnt in 30years to you in three years and it will still be legal.... that's mentoring. This is for the next generation of . Follow the steps on the flier to register your interest.
In 1Chronicles 29:3-5, David needed men to give towards the building of the temple. However, he didn’t call for givers; he called for men who have consecrated themselves to God. This is because David understood that the foundation for an acceptable gift unto the Lord is consecration.
What is consecration? To consecrate is to set apart for a special use. In other words, we set ourselves apart from the world unto the Lord.
Consecration comes from an appreciation of the law of substitution which states that of one die in the place of another, the one who lives, lives in the place of him who died. It comes from the understanding of the fact that we are bought with a price that someone died in our place that we owe him our lives and now we are to live in his place.
As a result, we decided to yield ourselves – all our instruments, willingly to our new owner. In other words, we consecrate ourselves unto God by willingly yielding our mouths, legs, intellects and everything we have to do the bidding of Jesus.
This may be heart-breaking for many but we are no longer in the Old Testament where God is demanding for 10% of what we have. The law that secure our release from the path of hell demands our 100% or nothing.
A consecrated man is a man in obedience. He may make mistake but he is quick to apologize and correct it. Such is the man whom the Lord wants has a giver. Apostle Paul said of the Macedonian church that they first gave themselves to the Lord before giving their substance.
Have you been giving and not seeing a commensurate return as promised in the word of God? Do you want your giving to yield a corresponding return at all times and not just some wasteful and fruitless adventure? Then consecration is the key. Consecration won’t be easy but it will be worth it. It is a daily commitment to yield yourself unto God and you can start today.
Have a blessed week. Shalom!
The God of peace himself - not his angels, not man; shall give you peace always - not once a day, once a week, once a month, not once a year; by all means - at all cost and whatever it takes, this year and beyond.
Yesterday was glorious. Today shall be awesome. We are so expectant. Join us. See fliers for detail.
We start today in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.
It is in the nature of God to give. He gives to the rich and the poor, the sinner and the righteous. This same nature is expected in his children.
While many believers are comfortable with giving to the poor, their theology is disturbed as per giving to the rich. The Bible says God makes the sun to shine on the evil and the good, and his rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
While we don’t give primarily because of what we want to get, the truth of the scripture is that there is a return on every form of giving, both in this age and the one to come.
When you give to the poor, they give thanks and pray to God on your behalf whereas when you give to the rich, it may not meet any need in them but it may touch their heart and by doing so, they become an avenue through which your prayer and that of others becomes answered.
Many believers consider giving to the rich a waste especially when what is given to the rich is capable of meeting the need of thousands of poor people but Jesus thinks differently.
Perfume that was worth about a year wage was ‘wasted’ on him while there were thousands of poor in the city. By this singular act, the woman who brought the perfume is captured in the gospel. Had she failed to do this, even if she had given all to the poor, history won’t remember her.
It is a sign of poverty to be envious of the rich simply because they are richer than you. What you attack, you can’t attract. Many believers today are stranded in life simply because of this unbalanced teaching of giving to the poor only, whereas, God has placed the rich around them to facilitate their lifting.
The open door you believe God for in your business or on your job may be tied to a rich man or your richer boss. Don’t wait to collect from them, give to them, just as you give to the poor, and secure an opening through which God can answer your prayers.
God the Father is a giver. He is not just a giver but the giver of all good things. He gave his only begotten son to the world without the assurance of having any harvest.
Jesus, the begotten son of the Father is a giver. He gave the Holy Spirit to his church to comfort, to seal, to intercede and to help her among many other functions. The Holy Spirit, also, is a giver. He gave gifts of the spirit to everyone who comes to Christ.
Essentially, the Godhead is a giver. It is therefore expected of a believer who claims to house the Godhead to be a giver also. Giving is the nature of Godhead and by default; this should be the nature of believers.
Strangely, some believers believe they have to pray to God first before they can give anything. While this may sound pious, it is more like an excuse not to give.
Giving is a clear will of God that litters the scripture from Genesis to Revelation. We don’t pray about a clearly known will of God. It is God’s will not to steal. Just as we don’t pray to ask the Lord if we are to steal, it is a waste of time to ask him if we are to give.
Giving has to become the nature of every child of God. Whenever there is danger in giving, the Holy Spirit in you will prompt you not to give ahead of time, but this is not the norm.
Don’t wait until special announcement is made to give before giving. When you see a need in church, in people or a community, fix it without making noise.
What you stand to gain by giving is more than what the receiver gains because it is more blessed to give than to receive. God the Father gave one son and he’s harvesting more sons. Nabal ushered in his own death by his stinginess.
Give and manifest the order of God that is in you.
It's going to be prophetic, it's going to be declarative, it's going to be audacious. Save the dates. See fliers for details.
Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year ahead to you!

FOCUS TEXT: Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
God’s mercy is so strong. The bible says He’s rich in mercy and infinite in His love for us. To the world, God is judgment, because their sins and their hearts condemn them, but to us His kids, God is love because of His mercy that we have received.
In Jeremiah 31:3, He said “ Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with lovingkindness have I drawn thee”. What a joy and comfort to know that God is not angry with us! Instead, He renews His love and mercies towards us every morning. Learn to take advantage of the grace and mercies of God in a new way from today.

FOCUS TEXT: Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the LORD of hosts.
The faith-life is only possible by and through the Holy Spirit. Zerubbabel, in today’s focus text was reassured to know that even though he could set some things in motion by his own might and power, the ultimate victory lies in the influence of God’s Spirit. The same admonition is directed to you today. You have saved for that major project. You have brainstormed on that new business; that is highly commendable, but however, you must not forget that in the end, it will not be by power nor by might but by God’s Spirit.
PRAYER: Ask God for grace to learn how to constantly rely on the Holy Spirit for all you want to accomplish in life.

FOCUS TEXT: Luke 9:62
And Jesus said unto him, no man having put his hands to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.
Jesus is a master instructor. The Christian life is one that must be resolute from the get go. Nowadays, it is not uncommon to see new converts or even long time believers wish they were unsaved so they can retaliate a wrong done to them or still lay claims to their ungodly pasts in an attempt to fit into an obviously conflicting situation.
The truth is this, if the nasty things about your past were that cool and useful to God, He probably would not need to save you from them. Jesus said looking back after coming to the kingdom makes you unfit to stay in the race. You are now in Christ. Let your conversation and pride be built around your new identity and not on the one Jesus saved you from.
CONFESSION: I am the righteousness of God in Christ. My conversations are honorable to the Lord and befitting to His kingdom always.

FOCUS TEXT: Revelation 3:7
And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; these things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
No door can be shut against Jesus Christ. In the same way, there is no door of evil and reproach the Jesus cannot shut. If you understand this dimension about your savior, you will experience progress of staggering proportion.
From today, approach life with a renewed mindset that no door of blessing and favor can be shut against you.
PRAYER: Pray that every door of increase and blessing that you have been knocking for years without success are opened in the name of Jesus Christ. Also ask God to shut every door of evil that the enemy has opened to frustrate your faith today.

FOCUS TEXT: 1 John 1:8-9
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to clean us from all unrighteousness.
The beauty of the Christian life is that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the eternal solution to sin and all unrighteousness. Being born in the image of the first Adam, all of mankind is unrighteous and sinful. But upon the death of Jesus Christ, the problem of sin was dealt with. Your sin has been forgiven, but the unrighteousness that the sinful nature stained you with must be opened up to God for constant cleansing. That is why you must not joke with your fellowship with the Father because how can you confess your transgressions to a God you don’t talk to?
Forgiving you is proof of God’s faithfulness, don’t take it for granted.
PRAYER: Thank God for His mercy that pulled you out of the domains of judgment and condemnation. Ask again that God forgives you of all sin and clean you from all unrighteous acts, thoughts and deeds.

FOCUS TEXT: 1 Timothy 6:6-8
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain that we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Are you surprised to read the words above in the bible and not from a motivational speaker or a therapist? God’s word is the most powerful therapy you can ever have. Life is encumbered by all sorts of things that feed off ungodliness and discontentment.
What Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, the young minister, is equally addressed to you today. Your Christian walk will be more effective as you live in contentment and godliness. It doesn’t make you weak or unambitious, rather it makes you pursue your life’s purpose free from the anxieties and needless temptation that discontentment bring upon those in its grips.
PRAYER: Pray that God give you more grace to live a godly life in contentment at all times.

FOCUS TEXT: Ephesians 4:31-32
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Bitterness and malice are the offshoots of unforgivingness. If you want to see the beauty of God to be seen in your life, refuse to keep malice or be bitter. Don’t regard the wrong done to you by others to the point that you become bitter. Bitterness and malice will take the radiance of God’s glory out of your life.
PRAYER: Pray that God uproot any stronghold of bitterness or malice in your life. Receive the grace to be more forgiving today in Jesus name.

FOCUS TEXT: Romans 15:30-32
Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; that I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; that I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
The apostle Paul appealed to the Christians in Rome to join in praying for him for deliverance and for the furtherance of the gospel in Jerusalem. Apostle Paul is no longer here but your pastors, teachers and elders in the faith are and your city or country is the Jerusalem now.
Open up your heart to the needs of those the Lord has graciously placed over you in the church and pray for them to continue to excel in their service to God. It is important that you do this because in doing so, you are helping your man of God fulfill his ministry over you as well.
PRAYER: Spend some time today to specially pray for the pastors God has given you. Ask that they are protected from every evil and that their needs are sufficiently met. Also pray that the work of ministry continue to flourish in their hands.

FOCUS TEXT: 2 Corinthians 3:18
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
In our previous article, you learned that Jesus have given you His glory. The focus text of today explains how to walk in that glory consistently. It is not difficult at all; it only takes studying and meditating on the written word.
The word of God is the glory of God and as you fellowship with the word, the more glorious your life becomes. The Holy Spirit ensures this transformation happens. Keep studying and keep meditating. Hallelujah!
PRAYER: Thank God for the blessing of His Word to you and ask Him for increased understanding of His word as you study and meditate on it today.

FOCUS TEXT: John 17:22
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.
The above was part of the prayers Our Lord Jesus prayed moment leading to His betrayal. Read the entire chapter to get even more insight into all that Jesus asked the Father before His death. The final words of a dying man cannot be light. So are the words of Jesus. Do you know that you now function with the glory that was on Jesus when He walked the streets of Jerusalem? If you don’t know before, now you do as our today’s focus text discloses.
You have to demand more from yourself and not live an inglorious life. You now have the most powerful splendor the world has ever known bestowed upon you. Let your life reflect this truth.
PRAYER: Thank God for His glory upon your life. Declare that your life will continue to bring honor and praise to God all your days.

FOCUS TEXT: Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
The bible was unambiguous about the events that will precede the second coming of Christ. Most of the events will result in wickedness, destruction and chaos that the world has never witnessed before. Jesus talked about them in the chapter quoted in our scripture for today.
There is no fear for you in Christ. The thing that is coming upon the world is not to your disadvantage but that God’s word may be fulfilled. However, you must abide by The Lord’s instruction which is to watch and pray always so you can be counted worthy to escape the calamity that the world will face as the day of God draws even nearer than ever before.
PRAYER: Pray that the power of God’s word continue to wash you clean and prepare you for the Lord’s soon return without reproach.

FOCUS TEXT: Job 22:29
When men shall say there is a casting down, then thou shalt say, there is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
If you follow the news around the world, it would be very difficult to see or hear anything that is uplifting in nature. If you are not reading of bombings and killings in the north, you will be hearing of natural disaster in the south. It is just the way the world is that is why you must be resolute in using your words to design your own world just as the focus text admonishes.
CONFESSION: From today, I begin to do well spiritually, financially, martially and in all aspect of life. I deal wisely in all my affairs. I have sufficient help and resources for my life’s assignment in Jesus mighty name.
NFCS PRAYER BULLETIN OCTOBER 19th, 2022
FOCUS TEXT: Isaiah 49:24-25
Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the Lord, even the captive of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible be delivered: for I will contend with him that contend with the, and I will save thy children.
In the book of Hosea, God disclosed why His own people are destroyed. Lack of knowledge is at the root of most problems that many believers are facing today. It is not the knowledge of science or economics, many of them are well read in academic terms and they are smart business people. The knowledge that most people lack and for which they suffer significantly for is that of divine truths.
Divine truths cannot make sense to the natural mind. If you look at the focus text closely, you will notice God asking a question and answering it at the same time. What should that tell you? In the parlance of pop culture, never say never. There is nothing that you lose that you cannot recover if you play by God’s rules and anyone who contends with you is already fighting a battle they will ultimately lose. Just stay in faith and do not relent in your prayers.
PRAYER: pray that every arrow of death or fired at you or anyone genuinely connected to you gather together now and return to their senders by the power of the Holy Spirit.
