Jaruma Magazine was born out of a need to create a safe place where northern women could talk about their ordeals, ,experiences & concerns without being shamed or judged,a platform where women's voices were heard loud and clear without any societal discrimination.

We took it upon ourselves to bring awareness of people's plight by sharing stories and experiences.

Divorce diaries quickly became a favourite for people as we shared real stories and we discussed the issues people often refused to address and lessons were learnt.

As we grew we encountered more survivors with stories beyond divorce issues like abuse,mental health issues, insurgency and lots more

This is now our inspiration behind Survivor stories,stories of real people who survived obstacles in life, we will share these stories to bring hope and inspire change in our society,one story at a time.
