On Friday night while sleeping alone on my bed in the middle of the night I rolled and touched something or someone on my bed.

At first I thought it to be my wife then I recall I had no wife and I slept alone. Fear engolved me and I sprang up quickly turning on the light in the room.

"Babe what is it?" The person said with a sleepy voice.

After turning on the room light I realised and got more shocked to see my wife on the bed I was curious to hear her story.

"Babe what happened where did you go to and how did you get in. I mean what happened?" I asked curiously as sleep left my eyes and joy filled my heart.

"Is that your problem, seeing me alone is not enough for you? Or maybe I should just leave since u won't let somebody to sleep" my wife said trying to stand up with sleep in her eyes.

I immediately rushed to her and pleaded for her to stay while promising to let her rest. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night as I kept watching her sleep like a baby.

At Dawn she woke up to wash clothes, I was shocked because my wife knows that I work on Saturday's from 8am-12pm and she always wakes up to prepare me meals when we were dating and she slept over.

I was a bit angered and decided to confront her at the back yard where she was washing.

"Babe u didn't prepare breakfast?" I asked softly.

"Aaah but you are not going to work today Na.... Or aren't you doing an office work, Or do you eat as early as 6: 30?" She answered, looking very sure.

I felt a knot in my stomach, as I got lost in thoughts if actually she was the one saying that.

"But babe you know I work on Saturday from 8am to 12pm and you normally prepare my breakfast, what is all this Na" I sparked out, a bit provoked.

"Sorry it's a joke I was just carried away by the washing please forgive Bibi?" She said making a silly face

"But babe Bibi is the name I use to call my elder sister why are you saying; forgive Bibi?" I asked as I was a bit confused and suspecting something was wrong .

"I just wanted to provoke you a little bit, remember what she did on our wedding?" She then laughed and walked out to the kitchen.

When I got to the office I invited David over after buying a wine that cost me ₦500k. David who worked not too far away from my office drove quickly to answer my call.

Upon David's arrival I showed him the drink; he was anxious and asked what we were celebrating. He sparked and sang praises after hearing that my wife was back.

"How did It happen! Guy explain, talk Na !" He urged as his voice was so loud. Other of my employees could hear us. He didn't mind, although that was because I owned the company.

I explained everything that happened to David and also told him of my concern regarding my wife not remembering certain things. David saw it as less but only encouraged me to get the full gist about her sudden disappearance.

I returned from work that afternoon with David very happy. While coming the music in our car was so loud that people outside could hear it.

On getting home I was shocked to see my wife at home, because normally she goes to choir rehearsals on Saturday's.

"Babe what are you doing at home?" I asked turned off from the happy mood I was in.

"Ooh you wanted to bring your side cheek. Where would I be if not home?" My wife answered in an angered tune.

Both I and David where shocked as we looked at each other astonished and replied together.

"You are the choir leader in your church and every Saturday is your rehearsals."

"Ooh" she said and got up to prepared to leave for the rehearsals.

She freshened up and I asked her to go wait for me at the pool. When I was done with the food I carried it to the pool but I collapsed at the site of what was in the pool.

I woke up few hours later, only to see myself in the hospital. After a while David walked in. He was so happy seeing me awake.

He rushed to me and explained how he got a call from my phone and some female told him I was unconscious.

He said he was surprised when he got to my house and found me laying almost lifeless on the floor. He then asked me,

"Richard! Where is your wife? I couldn't see her when I came for your rescue, did she do this to you?"

At the hearing of the word " wife " tears streamed down my cheeks. Immediately everything played back as if it was a rain fall after a strong wind.

I told him that I came out with the food I cooked for the both of us, to go meet with her at the pool but on getting there the whole pool was filled with bl00d.

David was shocked as he exclaimed;

"Blood? The pool was all clean when I came to rescue you or maybe it's an illusion" he concluded.

I looked at him with a tears well up eye's for a while before asking" Then where is my wife?"

"Let's search first..... you don't know the possibilities?"he assured me.

Two days later the doctor confirmed I was strong and ready to be discharged. David offered to pay the bills.

After my discharge from the hospital we waited for two days to pass but yet we didn't see nor hear anything from my wife.

I was forced to go with David to go meet all their family members but then again we didn't see her, infact they all confirm not to see her since our wedding.

We were left with no option than to go make our report to the police. I wrote down everything that happened and David wrote his own part.

It is about a week now and yet no words from the police. I began loosing hope and began engaging in other things trying to get my mind off my wife and that of the constant pressure from her family.

It was early in the morning of my wedding, while dressing, my elder sister ran into my room and asked me to call off the wedding.

I was anxious to know why, because I never saw any reason to end a marriage every one in my family approved of. Whereas she haven't even seen the lady I'm about to marry since she wasn't around.

"Big sis you must be joking, why should I call off the wedding, whats wrong?" I asked looking confused.

"I don't know but I want you to call off that wedding I don't know why you can't see what is presented in front of you." she said and stormed out before I could even reply back.

I quickly followed her but later diverted into David my best man's room. I told David of my encounter with my sister and asked if he knew why.

David stood froozed, lost in thoughts and wondering why will my sister call off a wedding even though she doesn't know my wife to be.

After so many assumptions David asked me if I loved Rachelle , and I said "yes I do" then he urged me to continue with the marriage.

During the marriage, the question was raised, "If you don't want this marriage to be bound, you may speak now or forever remain silent."

Eyes widened as a voice from the back exclaimed, "I." I couldn't fathom the immense shock that struck both my future wife and me when we saw my sister's hand raised.

As for my wife, tears ran down strands on her cheeks like jelly. I could see that she was really heart broken and scared of what is to happen.

"May you tell the audience your reasons ma'am ?" The marriage conductor asked my sister.

"He is my brother and I have planned something else for him, this wedding should stop as soon as am concerned." My sister said and walked out.

Every one was amazed at the scene but then again I asked the marriage conductor to proceed with the ceremony.

It was an evening two days after our wedding. I and my wife are just moving in to the new house I bought for our honeymoon.

I was the first to move in as I wanted to prepare for her some delicacies. While in the kitchen she came in and I ordered her to her room.

Kemi's Dairy (High School Illusion Ep3)

It was Monday morning when I heard the popular bang on my door, I grumbled and squeezed my face cus I still needed some more time to sleep to my satisfaction, the banging became more harder that it could literally pull the door.
Do I need to guess? of course not, it's Mum, so I quickly jumped out of my bed.
Checking my time it was 6:45 a.m. Oh gosh! I exclaimed, so I quickly rushed out of my bed and hurried into the bathroom. "Kemi, I hope you're in the bathroom" my mummy yelled out, "yes Mum" I responded from the bathroom, "hurry up so you won't be late on your first day in class, your food is on the dining when you are done taking your bath" thanks Mum" I responded. As at 7:15 a.m, I was done with breakfast so I waited for my brother so he can take me to school, 7:30 a.m I was in school, my brother waited for me at the principal's office while I headed straight to assemble.
On getting to the assembly I met the principal addressing the students and as well, giving a welcoming speech. Thereafter he ordered the school anthem be rendered which on my very case I didn't know any verse of the song so I stood there like a Christmas goat watching the students render the song with passion.
Sometimes I'll open my mouth very wide pretending as if I'm singing the anthem, at some point I'll ask who is fooling who and I'll laugh within myself.
After assembly I head to the principal's office to join my brother, when the principal arrived he sent for the class teacher in charge of Jss1D Mrs Affiong who according to the principal happens to be the Business Studies teacher "this is Kemi Umoh" the principal said to the teacher, you'll take him to your class for proper introduction, he'll be in your class as from now on. Alright , Sir the teacher retorted, "thanks, Sir, I'll take my leave now" my elder brother uttered as the exchanged handshake, so I left with the teacher with fear and being so tensed, why am I scared? what will I see in the class? who will I meet in that class? why am I shy? lot of thoughts pierced through my mind as I walked with the teacher. Well, I don't need to be scared nor shy cos the principal said the students in that class are naughty, I laughed silently as I overcame my fear with the believe that the students in that class are naughty, or, maybe not. The moment we arrived, there was a particular woman in the class teaching social study, "excuse me ma'am" Mrs Affiong called out to the social study teacher please spare me 1 minutes of your time.

"Good morning class good morning MA" the student replied you have a new student in your mist, his name is Kemi Umoh, so I urge each and everyone of you to be friendly with him and give him all the
maximum support, cooperate with one another and grow with one another is that clear ? Yes madam" the student replied, Kemi find a comfortable place to sit and as well a good study mate, I
believe you find one. "thanks a lot ma'am I replied and then worked gently to a vacant space in the front seat.

KEMI'S DAIRY (High School Illusion Ep2)

It was 6:30 a.m in the morning when I heard a bang on my door, do I need a sorcery to tell me that's my mom? Of course not, Kemi! It's 6:30 a.m and you're still on bed? it's your first day at school so get up and prepare, her voice was like that of a trumpet very loud. I stumbled on my bed as I took a bow beneath my pillow, Kemi! she called out again, I believe you're in the bathroom it's almost 7:00 o'clock, I sprung up immediately and made my way to the bathroom. As about 7:20 a.m I was done with breakfast and as well dressed up for school, 7:45 a.m I was in the principal's office with my elder brother waiting for the principal. Finally the principal arrived, sorry I kept you waiting I was stuck in the petrol station, you know the country how it is Nigeria with fuel wahala he said as he relaxed in his soft luxury chair. After much deliberation yesterday with the headteachers I was made to understand that J.S.S 1A to J.S.S 1B had reached the maximum number of 20 students, on hearing that from the principal my heart sank and my spirit almost let my body, it took a lot of dinner prayers to restrict my spirit, my elder brother was extremely happy because he didn't support the idea of me being a student of community secondary school, to him, he believes the school is not good enough to boost my brain academically, no professional teachers, not even a better learning environments. I'm even sure their library is outdated, that is, if they even had one.
I really don't know why you are so bent on going to that school, that school is beneath you, you're a very bright and intelligent boy why do you want to throw that away? You can't judge a book by it's cover, I retorted, besides, it is not even on record that you have for once attended that school, so you don't have the right to address their teachers as incompetents.
An intelligent child will always remain intelligent irrespective of the school he or she attends. you're just being naughty hope you know that? He responded as he walked out of the sitting room. k
Knowing fully well I won I never thought of anything else than to giggle and throw myself on the couch. So, Sir, is that to say he will no longer be admitted into the school? I knew very well what was in my brother's mind, if he had his way he would squeeze the principal's troat to speak in his favor, well, the principal replied, we still have Jss1C, but I won't advise he go into that very section because the students in that section has these low IQ which may not be good for his academic performance and progress, the smile on my brother's face was like that of a Warrior who just won a deadly battle so real and unexplainable.
Well, I hate being a killer with joy and happiness but in this very context he just lost the battle he thought he had won cos I gave him a spiritual punch he couldn't comprehen.
I don't mind, sir, I broke in, I will go into that section sir, I just want to be in this school, I don't want to go to any other school.
Well at this point I don't need a soothsayer to tell me the look on my brother's face cos I'm very much sure if there is hot water around he'll roast me like a Christmas chicken so I didn't bother to look at his face.
From your presentation I assume you are very smart and intelligent kid, but, are you sure you're going to be fine in that section? the principal ask, very well, Sir, I'll be good I replied confidently.
Very well then, you'll resume tomorrow due to the fact that classes had already gone far for today. Thank you very much sir, I replied happily. You're welcome, the principal replied, so I stood up and walked out of the principal's office without my brother cos I was scared he'll even swallow me with saliva at that point.
