✅1. Work from home/anywhere - With freelancing, you get to work from anywhere and are not restricted to any office or location. For instance, I’m almost always with my laptop if I’m out and with it, I can simply log in to any of the sites I freelance on (mostly web design & digital marketing) and take a quick job, complete it and get paid for it.

✅2. Earn dollars – With how the Nigerian naira is losing value everyday, earning in dollars is the surest way to survival. You are working for people mostly from US and Canada and they will pay you in dollars

✅3. Job security – There are so many jobs available on Upwork that if you are willing to work, na you go run from work. Nothing like, my oga go sack me

✅4. Less stress – Imagine not jumping from keke, to motorcycle to taxi to go to work. That will be much less stress. And working for naija oga sef na stress on e own!

In case you don’t know, Upwork is the NUMBER 1 freelancing platform in the whole world. If you manage to get registered on Upwork and start offering any of those simple, stupid skills according to Coach Richmond, you immediately start *earning in dollars.*

All these oyinbos that don’t like too much stress usually go to Upwork to look for people who can do these simple things and they pay them for it. People in US, Canada, UK, Australia, etc. To them, if they pay you like 50dollars or 100dollars, it’s just small money, but if you convert it to Nigeria naira, omo! Na money be that oh. It’s like some peoples monthly salary sef.
