It helps your business to be able to reach it’s target audience with the message of your brand. Imagine creating a beautiful artwork, and deciding to just put in a box and hid it in your warehouse.

This action has defeated the purpose of which the artwork was created because the people who should see it cannot see it inside a box in your warehouse except if you bring it out to the shelf.

When you bring it to the shelf, the person who should see it will see it and buy from you.

The same thing applies to your business or brand, no matter how good your business is, if you don’t advertise it, the people who should see it won’t see it and off course, they won’t buy because they can’t buy what they can’t see.

This type of advertising requires more ads so as to establish your authority especially if you are just starting out.

2. Business visibility
Aside from reaching your target audience, it is also important that you get visibility for your brand/business, and you can achieve this with advertising campaigns.

As a business owner, it is necessary for you to have a goal when you were starting up, it is this goals that would determine the type of advertising campaign that you would use.

Making your business visible is to show users that you exist and you have what they need or what they will eventually need. They don’t necessarily have to buy from you at the moment, but it is an act to register your existence in their minds.

This way you can be sure to get sales and referrals from people who may not originally be your target audience.

At the beginning of this article, I promised to share with you the advertising campaigns and I will be doing that in the other paragraphs of this article.

This is the use of emails to advertise your products and the services you offer. It can also be used as a means of creating communicational relationships with your audience.

It can also be used to inform your existing customers of sales, discounts, new products and services. For example, a brand can send out an email campaign to inform it’s customers of a new products or discounts on the existing products.

2. Paid Advertising Campaign
Here, you pay for this advertisement unlike email marketing. You pay the owner of the ad space in exchange for use of that space to advertise your business. This payment is usually settled through a bidding process between marketers and the owner of the ad space

Paid advertising is any kind of advertising that you have to pay for, versus owned or earned advertising.

With paid advertising, marketers pay the owner of ad space in exchange for use of that space. The price paid for the ad space is often settled through a bidding process between marketers and the ad space owner.

There are different types of paid advertising, and they include:

1. Paid search: This involves the use of images and text as ads on platforms like google.

2. Display ads: This has to do with displaying ads to website visitors. The ads here are served based on the user’s website browsing activity.

It further involves bidding on keywords so that advertisements related to specific keywords are placed at the top of the search engine results page (SERP). With paid search, advertisers only pay when their advertisement is clicked, providing the alter-ego pay-per-click (PPC).

To differentiate between paid and organic search, look for a small label next to the link which signifies that the result is an advertisement.

3. Social Media Advertising
This can be done through social media platforms. You can get quick ROI because all the activities is done in real time, and you can track where your sales are coming from when you tag your advertisements with UTM codes.

It also allows you the freedom to release your brand’s personality, as social media is a more relaxed platform than a paid search advertising or a television commercials.

Whenever you want to advertise on social media, it is important to understand that not everyone in your target audience uses every platform, so you might first of all want to identify who your audience is and also the platforms where you can find them.

Logical Flow is all-important for good writing, but a handful of writers seem to struggle in curating write-ups that resonates with the audience.

In this guide, you will find the meaning of logical flow, tips to make sure your Writing makes perfect sense, so your audience can easily understand your ideas.

What is Logical Flow?

Logical Flow as a writing skill involves all aspects of your Writing that help the reader in the overall understanding of the idea you are communicating.

The reader should be able to connect with your ideas from one sentence to another, and from one paragraph to the next without loss of focus.

For a great reading experience, it is expected of you the writer to link your topics and ideas with unambiguously written paragraphs, using concise wordings, logical connections must also be right.

Tips To Achieving Logical Flow In your Writing

1. Have a Plan

Before you write, you want to make an outline of your ideas, the key points you want to discuss with your audience, so you organize every point logically.

With a plan in place, you will be able to structure your key points into paragraphs sequentially; this way, your audience will follow through with good comprehension.

2. Use Topic Sentences

The use of Topic Sentences in paragraphs will enlighten the reader on the overall content of each paragraph, and what to expect scrolling through each paragraph of your Writing.

Topic Sentences are used as a paragraph's first sentence, followed by strings of further elaborated Sentences on the subject; thus help readers follow the ideas communicated.

Just as you can see how I used a topic sentence for this paragraph; my first sentence clearly mentioned I am discussing topic Sentences, this gives you an insight to what to expect.

3. Good Use of Transitions

By making good use of Transitions in your Writing, you create a flow by linking ideas and sentences; help guide the reader how to easily get from one sentence to another.

Transitions act more like a bridge between roads, that is words like therefore or however could be used in the middle of sentences to create continuity.

Here are some examples of transitional words: For instance; In the meantime; on the other hand; key point; frequently; that is; although; even so; to point out.

Other transition words include: For this reason; nevertheless; sometimes; conversely; indeed; points often overlooked; with this in mind; on the positive side; to repeat; to emphasize.

We can go further to have a short illustration on how to use transition words in Sentences with this blog post paragraph on content optimization for SEO.

There's surely many methods involved in search engine optimization, however optimising your website content with industry relevant keywords is a vital aspect.

Notice the use of punctuation and the transition words "however" to create a sense of continuity in the tone of the Writing? This is a typical example of how to use transition words in writing.

4. Logical Connections

When writing, you want to make sure you don't force your reader to take extra time to figure out why you suddenly introduce an aspect not connected to the topic of discussion.

For example, I have logical connections as the topic sentence for this paragraph, and while writing the paragraph sentence I talk about cooking skills.

The reader will always be confused when there is a slight deviation from the main subject of discussion, and will try to find a connection, but take out the unconnected ideas they have a smooth reading.

5. Clear Concise Wordings

Clear and concise wordings give your Writing simplicity, and your audience will find them more easily to understand. Always avoid ambiguity when writing.

6. Make Final Edits

Now you are done writing, it is good practice to scan through your work so to be sure you add a comma here, add a full stop there, to get a perfect writing.
