FRUITS THAT INDUCES GOOD NIGHT REST AND GOOD SLEEP
I couldn't sleep up to three (3) hours for about two weeks, this indeed affected my health. I went for HB12 Syrup that contains Melatonin (a sleep promotion substance in the brain) and yet couldn't still sleep well. I tried to avoid blue light, phone screen and bright light at night - inculcated the habit of sleeping in total darkness so I could have better sleep, yes it helped, but didn't give me what I really wanted.
Hence, I had to go into studying about fruits I could eat to help me sleep well so I could beat the insomnia, and God helping me I got the answer I was looking for.
To be precise, I started with Pineapple, and being diabetic, decided to check its Glycemic Index and I discovered it has a glycemic index of 66 which falls under medium GI range. Hence, I went for it, and to my greatest surprise I slept well that night.
Thus, I now combine the habit of sleeping in total darkness and eating fruits rich in melatonin and other sleep inducing substances before going to bed.

The best you can do for the total health of your body is to learn to eat only fresh fruits to help you overcome insomnia, avoid sleep inducing medicines please as they will eventually destroy your body system.
I'm sharing these wonderful fruits with you.
1. Cherries.
Cherries and cherry juice contain high levels of melatonin, a hormone in the brain that controls your sleep regulation..
2. Berries
Berries -- including blueberries, raspberries and blackberries -- contain very high levels of antioxidants. According to experts at the National Sleep Foundation, antioxidants can protect you from the stress of a sleep disorder, which can cause oxidation in the body. Consuming antioxidant-rich berries before bed can help reduce your overall physical stress, thereby allowing you to have a more restful sleep.
3. Pineapple
Another fruity treat to enjoy before bed is the humble pineapple. Also high in melatonin, researchers discovered that after eating pineapple, the melatonin markers in the body could increase by 266 percent. This means that regularly consuming this sweet treat before bed could help you fall asleep fast and stay asleep longer.
4. Bananas
Although you might usually eat bananas with breakfast, they actually contain high levels of potassium and magnesium, natural muscle relaxers that can allow your body to feel more at ease and ready for sleep. Also, the carbohydrates in bananas can increase your sleepiness. So if you're feeling a little peckish before bed, go ahead and peel your way to a better night's sleep.
5. Oranges
Oranges can increase the melatonin in your body by approximately 47 percent.
6. Avocados
Avocados are high in magnesium, which is sometimes referred to as the sleep mineral.
7. Tomatoes
Tomatoes are rich in the phytonutrient lycopene, which helps you stay asleep.
8. Carrots
Carrots are packed with alpha-carotene, which is closely associated with better sleep.
