THE FORUM OF FORMER LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMEN, AKWA IBOM STATE CLASS 2008 TO 2015 LAUDS GOV UMO ENO

Today, the members of the Forum of Former Elected Chairmen of Councils in Akwa Ibom State, in their meeting passed a Vote of Confidence on the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umoh Eno, for approving the payment of Severance Allowance to former elected Chairmen of Councils in the 31 Local Government Areas of the State, after many years since they left office.

They conceited the visionary leadership and incomparable feat of the Governor since his assumption of office on May 29, 2023.

The forum hereby pledges unwavering support and unalloyed loyalty to Gov Umo Eno's led administration, while appealing for appointment of more of their members into various Boards and Commissions in the State, in the next batch of appointments.

As a forum, they praised the Governor for his resolute commitment to rural development, especially the construction and furnishing of Arise Compassionate Homes for the vulnerable and aged windows in the rural communities.

They prayed to God to continue to grant the Governor wisdom and the courage to continue with the good works in the State.
