So this Activity is actually trending now, so even I gave a try. So inwas lill Skeptical if it works with the Dishwashing liquid I have and tried it will less quantity first. All you need for this Experiment is : ➡️ TRAY/Bowl ➡️ MILK ➡️ FOOD COLORS ➡️ Cotton SWAB/Q-Tip ➡️ Dish Washing LIQUID Take a bowl add some milk in it and then add few drops of Food Colors of your choice and now the real experimenting time has come.. Now you need yo insert the Cotton swab which is dipped in the dishwashing liquid to the milk and see the magic happening. So the thing is its not magic happening their it's actually reducing the Surface tension of the milk. 💡Soap is a surfactant. A surfactant is a substance that has the ability to reduce the surface tension of a liquid. Therefore, when a drop of liquid dish soap is added to milk, the surface tension of the milk is reduced. As this occurs, the fat and protein particles in the milk can move more freely and easily. 💡 When you first put the detergent on the milk, the negative end of the detergent molecules line up with the positive end of the water molecules. Sensory Play, How to Color rice in Sensory Play. Colouring rice is so easy and can really take the play experience to a whole new level! To colour rice using the hand sanitiser method, you need to gather: 🌟 Rice (Go for some which is low priced) 🌟 Hand Sanitiser / Venigar (I Used Venigar as its taste Safe) 🌟 Food colouring 🌟 1Large bowl / ziplock bag 🌟 Spoon 🌟 Baking Tray Then all you need to do is: ➡️ Pop your rice into your bowl or zip lock bag. ➡️ Add a couple of drops of your favourite food colouring and a squirt of hand sanitiser ➡️ Give it a mix or shake until the colour is evenly dispersed and you are happy with the intensity of the colour ➡️ Lay it out to dry on your tray It'll be dried within 10mins in Sun . Once dry, your rice may be stored just as you would store your rice in your pantry. Sensory play involves engaging your child’s senses; touch, sound, taste, smell and sight. One of our favourite sensory mediums is rice. It’s inexpensive, may be reused over and over again, biodegradable (once it has had its day) and can be used in a limitless number of activities. Add it to small world play, make musical instrument, discovery bags, calm down bottles, hide and seek bags, use it for pouring, scooping, stirring and so much more! Have an amazing time playing with your own home coloured rice. It really is such an amazing sensory medium!
