What a year!
We didn’t had any vacation this year (yet!!!) cos we have been all busy with our wedding preparations! Also, the summer sucked a bit, so not much time for the beach either!
But still we did some really cool things in between!
One of our highlights was definitely the concert of in Brussels!

On the 29.06.2022 I asked Aga, in the company of our lovely friends, at the beautiful coast of Scheveningen, to marry me. 💍
She said yes! And made me to the happiest girl on this beach 🏖️💕
What followed was a one amazing adventure!
In November she proposed back to me 💍💍 followed by our civil wedding on the 09.05., an amazing bachelorette party in August and now our big wedding party!
We didn’t know how hectic it would be- but also we didn’t know how beautiful.
Family and friends from 10 different nations travelled to the Netherlands to celebrate our love.
We had one badass party! And full 8 days of wedding - celebration 🙈
It clearly was the highlight of our lives.

Two more weeks until our big wedding and it’s already almost a month ago that we went for our bachelorette party to Belgium.

…it’s the engraving inside our wedding bands 💍💍

On the 09.05.2023 we had our registry in Zaandam and since 11.45, that day, we are officially wife & wife. 🤍💍

It was a perfect (rainy day…like literally it has been pouring cats and dogs and all our plans of drinks on the terrace, confetti and co. went south 🙈) -
but nevertheless we have been surrounded by so much love and happiness and we are so grateful for our family and friend that made this day so special for us.

Now it’s only a few months left until our biiiiig wedding celebration!
And actually I think it was good that we practiced already 🙈

Wifey‘s to be made it finally to .
After almost 5 years in the Netherlands, we went today for the first time to the world famous Keukenhof.
We absolutely loved it and we clearly want to come back from now on every year.

Almost six years ago we went to Iceland, chasing the Northern Lights.

No lights for us- so much to say, but not bothered at all by the 20 hours of darkness on those cold December days in Reykjavík, we totally fell in love with Scandinavia.

And we planned of coming back as soon as possible.
Lots of things have happened in between and we didn’t come back as we wanted to.
But this year it finally happened.
Here we are.

Exploring Denmark and Norway.
Our trip leads us from Copenhagen, over Kristiansand, Oslo until the far far north of Norway and its most beautiful fjords.

Still fascinated. Still very much in love.
And we will be back - again. 🇳🇴

I wish I had said this, at the proposal!
But the truth is:
I had planned everything- except what I would say?!

So turned out, Aga was so surprised that she just didn’t say or do anything 😂 and I sat there- totally quiet pointing to the ring- until the silence got unbearable and in total panic I said:

„I can’t afford the mortgage by myself, so we should get married!“ (I literally said that!)
And she answered: „of course!“

…I mean, I didn’t mean it, obviously, but always when I get nervous I just talk bu****it and try to be funny.

I wish I had said something else. Like anything 😂 had been better!

Anyone else can relate and becomes a bu****itting comedian when things get awkward, or is it just me?!

It’s finally happening!
We’re engaged 💕
On the 29.06. at the beautiful beach in Scheveningen, I asked Aga to marry me 💍 …and whoop 🙌🏼 whoop 🙌🏼 she said YES!
(No actually she said ‘of course!’, but that wouldn’t really fit to write on her hand 😂)

It was a beautiful day and everything worked out the way I had imagined it!
We had the best weather and my dream of an engagement party by the beach with pizza out of the cartons and prosecco with friends became true!
We have been so blessed in many ways, as it was the warmest and most beautiful day in the week.

Probably it meant to be like this ❤️

We had the best time ever, enjoying a full day of surprises that I had planned for Aga, an amazing stay at the with a spectacular view over the sea, and most of all surrounded by people who shared our happiness and our excitement in a way that normally only lifelong friends would do ❤️

It was overwhelming beautiful…the best day ever 💕
Now we’re all excited planning the wedding and we can’t get enough of calling each other fiancée 😆

We LOVE being back on travels…we just wish we could stay longer, explore more and travel further!

But nevertheless it feels sooooo good to take off work and head off into the sun!
Almost unreal, thinking about how much we have been travelling before the pandemic and that it has been two years already that we barely left the Netherlands!

But hopefully it’s time now for all of us to find back to our old habits and plan the next vacation already on the way to the airport back home 😂
Tomorrow we need to fly back to Amsterdam …but it’s only 2 months until we‘re going to Norway 🇳🇴!

How is everyone doing?
It has been so quiet on our account recently (and it will be again, I’m afraid)
BUT this doesn’t mean, that we broke up, or that we’re not happy anymore.

Unfortunately we’re super busy in our jobs- and when we’re home we’re just chilling and watching Netflix (to be honest 🤣)
But we’re planning already our 5th anniversary soon- we booked everything and we’re all excited 😆
And definitely we will share all our love, romance and happiness!
Even though we kinda stopped sharing our daily life with you.

But yes- we’re still together 👯‍♀️ (Aga is now officially not only my happiest but also my longest relationship 🥰) and our abandoned account changed nothing on our love.

We were besties and lovers before Insta and so we’re still!
We’re just right now two overworked ladies that can’t bother to do anything more than absolutely necessary!

But don’t you worry…we’re still here and rocking it as a dream team 🥰
