Five releases in, it’s crystal clear that Glispy records is the kind of label we need more of in this world. Their compilations and albums showcase a wide variety of local artists and friends from Georgia and beyond, carefully connected through their love for music. With a strong focus on collaboration, the vibe they present is as diverse as their display of talent.
For this release they collaborated with Buba, FLORA, DJ astrobee and Rydeen to explore a darker oriented techy-breaky vibe. From 90s techno and acid inspired tracks to detroit electro, this compilation has so much to offer.
Our favorite track has to be DoubleDecker by Rydeen, featuring a breaky masterpiece guided by contagious vocal bursts. Just when you’re caught in the offbeat, it hits you with a four-on-the-floor stomp that is guaranteed to get your feet off the ground.
