The Knights of Rizal Amsterdam and Ayuda sa Amsterdam in cooperation with Megaworld International will host a fellowship dinner in commemoration of the 163rd Birth Anniversary of Dr Jose Rizal on Friday, 21st June 2024 from 6:00pm at Moses and Aaron Church in Amsterdam.

Philippine Independence Day Concert in Amsterdam 🇵🇭

Malaya Ka! - A Night of Music in Celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence

The Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands in collaboration with the Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation, Ayuda sa Amsterdam and the Knights of Rizal Amsterdam, will host a musical concert in celebration of the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence on June 9, 2024, 6:30 pm at Amstelkerk, Amstelveld 10, 1017 JD Amsterdam.

Upon the invitiation of the Philippine Embassy, the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus (UPCC), the country's premier and multi-awarded university-based choir, will visit the Netherlands and perform at venues in the The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Since its inception in 1962, the UPCC has gained acclaim in bridging musical genres such as classical, folk, pop and broadway with their signature "choreocapella" (choreographed a capela singing).

Ayuda sa Amsterdam Free Doctor’s Consultation at Moses and Aaron Church in Amsterdam

With the help of our volunteers, we helped 12 patients (8 from the Philippines, 2 from Nigeria and 2 from Morocco) to see a doctor last Friday, 3 May 2024.

Thank you very much to our partner organisations Dokters van de Wereld (NL) and Sant'Egidio Nederland and all our volunteers and supporters for their help and support. 🌺

Ayuda sa Amsterdam Free Doctor’s Consultation at Moses and Aaron Church in Amsterdam

With the help of our volunteers, we helped 17 patients from the Philippines, Bangladesh and Morocco to see a doctor yesterday.

We also distributed OWWA Overseas Workers Welfare Administration information pamphlets and Certificate of Employment for OWWA membership application.

Ayuda sa Amsterdam President Chinita Yette received a Commendation from Amb J Eduardo Malaya of The Philippine Embassy The Hague

On Wednesday, 13 March 2024 Chinita Yette received a commendation from Amb J Eduardo Malaya of the Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands for her dedication and work for the Filipino community in the Netherlands.

The citation was read by Consul Irish Kay L. Kalaw-Ado and presented by OWWA Administrator AdminArnell Ign. It was witnessed by OWWA Director and LGBT Pilipinas National President Dindi Tan, Welfare Officer Sylvia Gabriel, Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation chair Chris SB Kopp and attendees of Bagong Pilipinas Meet and Greet and Information Campaign and OWWA Membership Promotion held at Moses and Aaron Church in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Chinita started volunteering for the Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation - Ayuda sa Amsterdam program in 2020 in the height of covid-19 pandemic. In 2022, she was appointed Coordinator and then appointed President of Ayuda sa Amsterdam in January 2024.

Administrator Ignacio is in The Netherlands for the Bagong Pilipinas “Meet and Greet and Information Campaign and OWWA Membership Promotion” organized by the Filipino LGBT Europe and the Ayuda sa Amsterdam.

Filipino LGBT Europe - Ayuda sa Amsterdam visits Dokters van de Wereld

Filipino LGBT Europe - Ayuda sa Amsterdam chair Chris SB Kopp and Ayuda sa Amsterdam President Chinita Dinglasan visited Dokters van de Wereld Amsterdam Office through the invitation of Dr Ella de Vries Medical Program Officer of DvdW on Friday, 9th February 2024.

Since February 2021, free doctor’s consultation has been provided to the community every first Friday of the month through Filipino LGBT Europe’s Ayuda sa Amsterdam Program. An average of 15 patients are helped every time to see a doctor and get medical attention.

During the visit FLE chair Sta Brigida Kopp thanked Dr de Vries for the help and support Dokters van de Wereld has been extending to the community for the past three years.

Due to lack of available volunteer Doctor, we regret to inform everyone that our FREE Doctor Consultation scheduled tomorrow in Amsterdam is CANCELLED.

If you need to see a doctor, next available consultation is on Monday, 5th February at Chris Lebeaustraat 4 from 10:00 to 11:00, and at Wereldhuis from 11:30 to 13:00.

Pwede po tayo mag-apply ng food aid. Magpunta sa Biyernes, 1 Disyembre 2023 sa Ayuda sa Amsterdam 4:30-7:00pm sa Moses at Aaron Church sa Waterlooplein. Magdala ng ID (Passport o Kahit na anong government issue na ID). At kung magulang, magdala din ng ID ng anak.
