Kanteen25 is a hidden gem near the city center of Amsterdam. Since we’re not located directly in the city, it can be a bit of a challenge to find us if you are not familiar with Amsterdam. 📍 Here are the directions if you are coming from Central Station: Take tram 26 towards IJburg. Get off at the Muziekgebouw Bimhuis stop. Walk down the stairs and turn left. Walk under the viaduct and then turn left again. Walk straight for a bit and at a certain point, turn right. Cross the bridge and on the other side, turn right and walk past building 24. Continue straight and in the distance, you’ll see building 25 on your left. You’re almost there. You’ll first see the entrance of Rooms25 on your left, and if you walk a bit further, you can enter through the front entrance of Kanteen25. #kanteen25 #marineterrein #route #location

They will be playing live music on Easter Day at Kanteen25! ‘Sparquality’ is a band from Utrecht. It consists of musicians from different parts of world who met at Utrecht Conservatory: Sebastian Janse(Netherlands) on keys, Emile Fortanier(Netherlands) in Double bass, Stefano Agus(Italy) on drums and Prajolan Thapa(Nepal) on Alto Saxophone. They will fill the space at Kanteen25 with music of different genres such as Jazz, Neo Soul, Fusion and Classical. Tomorrow we are giving the keys from our kitchen to our neighbors, refugees who are unable to cook in the shelter where they now live. At Kanteen25 they will be able to cook meals from their home countries and feel the connection and warmth that people can pass on to each other through cooking and sharing food. You are also invited to come from 17:30 to taste the healthy and varied food prepared at this event. The cost of this gastronomic evening is 5 euros. Just look at this magic💫 That's what we'll be doing at the children's workshop this Sunday - sand painting under the guidance of a sand artist Stella Siu Lie Ang Join us! This workshop is free and limited to 10 participants, so be sure to register. The workshop will take place from 13:00 to 14:00. You're also very welcome to come early or stay after the workshop, as lunch time lasts all day from 11:00 to 17:00, and there are plenty of play areas in the restaurant for the kids to have fun in. There will be an hour of quiet time for the adults while the children are busy painting 🙂 And a special brunch offer for all attendees - three courses of food + juice or coffee of your choice, all for 25 euros.
