My paintings often tell a story. And sometimes the occasion is not always fun or positive, but the result can give a comforting and positive feeling to the viewer. This painting tells the story of Amor and Psyche, based on the marble sculpture by Antonio Canova that I was commissioned to make by a large group of friends in memory of the daughter of their befriended couple.

Super special to make, what a beautiful gesture of friendship to be able to give this story in art form as a gift!

Drawing was my first love. It is the most immediate and direct way for me to realize ideas or take notes. Drawing is a way to think, it is a way to express with your mind and emotion. The mark of the hand is present. When I draw I forget about time, it is another way to relax and share my passion on paper. I have been making drawings ever since I can remember, and it still forms the basis for all my paintings and murals. I learned myself to draw like the realism examples in this post to form a solid basis for my styles with effort and dedication to a craft.

For some reason my friends from Instagram decided to delete my post of this unique storyboard painting for . So I decided to make a comeback.

This original painting called ‘Modern Day Spartans’ tells a unique story about the life of a WAES employee. What motivates them? What choices do they make? Questions and answers that you can read like a comic book. With this painting I wanted to create a story and design that people can identify with and link the myth of the Spartans with past and present ⚔️
